    Strawberry & Lychee Cloud Cake
    Kaevon S.

Tous les Jours is a French-style bakery with a slight Asian flair. There is a similar bakery nearby, and both are equally as busy. Tous les Jours has many pastries to try, such as almond, chocolate-dipped, and crème-filled croissants, donuts, and cakes. One delightful item is a "flat croissant", which is a croissant pounded flat and coated with a brown sugar crust. Hard for me to describe it, but the result is a crispy treat that is easy and yummy to eat on the drive home. My husband and I purchased a cake for Valentine's Day and for our sister's birthday. Not only are the cakes beautiful, but you have the option to have candles (which we got for the birthday cake), and the cakes come with a cake cutter that contains matches. Such a wonderful touch! And yes, the cakes are very, very good. For Valentine's Day we got the Strawberry Lychee Cloud cake. It is make with yellow cake and has a strawberry lychee jam inside. I love lychee, but was happy the flavor was subtle and didn't overpower or was super sweet. We got the "standard" Cloud cake for my sister-in-law. This cake was also frosted with whipped cream, topped with fruit, and was made with yellow cake, but it had sliced strawberries inside. Both cakes were light and refreshing, and very tasty. I was also very delighted to have coconut milk as an option for my matcha latte; there are not many places I've been to that offer it. Tous les Jours is a nice place to stop for a tasty treat. The only drawback to me is the layout. It is very tight inside and the flow makes me a bit claustrophobic. But the staff is super friendly, and the atmosphere is pleasant, so I never dread going there.

A trusted friend recommended this Korean+French-inspired bakery, albeit at the Troy location, so I was eager to try it. I liked the sun-lit space, blond wood and marbled-topped shelving, matching small marbled-wood tables and chairs. When I entered, I encountered clear cases filled with flaky croissants, sweet and savory danishes, hot dog-filled buns, sugar-crusted and sweet-rice doughnuts, croquettes, and cello-wrapped sweet bread. The refrigerated case was filled with beverages, sandwiches, and cakes. Coffee, espresso, teas, and frappés are available towards the front, along with full cakes appetizingly displayed. Being a germaphobe, I was less than happy with the self-serve approach, especially since the trays were not cleaned (just quickly and haphazardly wiped down) between uses. Customers take a tray (remember to add a liner or four!) and use the supplied tongs to select from the available items. I picked the pain aux raisins, butter and almond croissants, caramel almond pastry, cheese/corn rice balls, soboro, and egg salad sandwich. While the items are smaller than at other places and a tad bit pricier, I liked the variety of items here: red bean bread, custard cream soboro, sweet rice donuts, and Greek yogurt cherry danishes. The line was very slow - both to pay and for coffee.

Beautiful decor. Nice seating. Pretty pastry that tastes as delicious as it looks. Very well trained staff. My espresso drink was delicious. It was flavored with lavender. I am sorry. I cannot remember what it was called. Thank you all for a wonderful experience. I will go back to try more pastries.

Beautiful space- great presentation and quality food. Process is nice with clean trays, paper liners, and tongs. Food is displayed in cases which you help yourself too. Had a nice rotating selection of sweet and savory. Also cakes and desert items along with coffees and drinks. Indoor seating is well maintained. Outdoor seating available per season.

Grab a hot coffee with oat milk, a large, green tea, small, frank slices with cheese and another savory pastry with a frank and cheese. I enjoy their blueberry and sweet cheese chocolate avalanche, spinach and feta, kimchi and curry croquette. Didn't enjoy their read bean bun, too much bun and bread and light on the red bean. Their cinnamon bites are good, tastes of small donut hole bites and reminds me of elephant ears. Drinks are nice and hot. Pastries here all look so good, taste good and are addicting. Can't ever just get one thing at all. Always good service. Today was busy and took a bit longer. Saturdays are busy for them.

I love this bakery! There are so many pastries and desserts to choose from. We got a strawberry smoothie and a Matcha iced latte. Strawberry smoothie (8/10) Matcha Iced Latte with whole milk (6/10) reminded me of Starbucks sadly We spent $80 on about 12-14 breads, two tiramisus, and two drinks. It was spacious with ~10 tables with 2-4 seats at each table.

I have been dying to try since reading reviews from my fellow Yelpers! The employees that I encountered were all lovely and very helpful especially since the selection was overwhelming. The mango shaved ice was the clear winner of the day and could easily feed 2-3 people. The milk bread was super soft and yummy, but the ube donut was a big miss in our books due to the taste of food coloring. We will be again to try many more items!

I might need to come back at an earlier time. I do love Tous Les Jours! They sell all of the delicious pastries and drinks we love. We stopped by in the evening probably close to 7:00 or 7:30 PM to get treats for a birthday celebration after going out for dinner. It does say the store closes at 9:00 PM, but they were out of most of their baked goods and the foods I typically see in the warming area seemed to placed inside the room temp baked good cases. So the choices were a bit limited compared to when I typically visit the other location. So, it was a bit lack luster for me on this night. It was a bit disappointing but I do intend on coming back in the future to see if it has a better selection earlier. I typically enjoy the Troy location. That one seems a bit larger with a larger selection. But the people who helped us seemed nice. Even as we arrived fairly late, there were quite a few customers also trickling in to get trays of baked goods. We got a blueberry cloud cake, a cloud fluffy bagel, a strawberry soft stick, and a small cheesecake. The kids seemed happy and were hoping to get even more items next time.

Based on the name of this place, I thought it was like a French café, but I think that it was like a fusion between French and Japanese because of some of the items they sold such as milk bread. It is a very cute place with outdoor seating. A lot of the pastries are self serve so you pick what you want and you put it in a tray. But disappointed me is that nearly all the pastries seemed to use the same dough for everything. They had croissants and many variations. They had other types of pastries that appeared to use the same laminated dough. I was mostly disappointed in the chocolate croissant because it was just a regular croissant dipped in dark chocolate. While the croissants were tasty, they weren't very buttery like a typical French croissant is known to be. They were very chewy as well. They had a variety of cakes, macaroons, and coffees and teas. I would have loved to see some pies, cheesecake, or other desserts. All in all it was not a bad place. It just wasn't anything more than average.

I got the tart fruit pastry. It was rich but not overly sweet. Fruit was mixed berries and a grape. There was filling that was quite nice. The whole foods version is not as good imo. It was 4$.xx. service was good and smile-y. Clean atmosphere.

Tous les jours is always a fun spot to hit with friends and family. For the most part, pastries that I've had from here have been great. Depending on your time, they may be fresh but they may also be stale. I love the concept of picking out your own food though. The latte was a bit sweet for me, but delicious nonetheless. And everyone here is so nice, and they're super willing make your experience nothing short of great.

It doesn't take repeat visits to know and appreciate deliciousness! Unreal good! Beyond good.. I am not sure the best way to describe besides fantastic!! Light, airy, crispy, tasty, baked to perfection! Each item sampled is glorious! The sweets are decadent, but not so sweet that it is too much to take. Every bite was so pleasant. The baked goods are little works of art! The place is bright, airy, very clean, organized and a pleasure to browse all they have to offer. It will take a lot of visits to try everything, but I will make the effort to do so! The service was very polite, efficient and they pack the items neatly and with care. This place is a gem and a nice location as well with lots of parking and outdoor seating when the weather warms up. What a treat!

Making it my mission to try working from cafes in the area, and Tous Les Jours was my first stop in my WFC (work from cafes) series! This is my second visit, but my first time hanging inside. There is a variety of pastries to try (you can grab them yourself with a tray n tongs) and each one I've had so far is delicious! The coffee is also very good. Everything is relatively fairly priced as well, the 'smallest' coffee size is 16oz. The ambiance is very nice as well, I was happy to see that it remained relatively busy the whole time I was there. There is plenty of seating to choose from, (less so that are close to plugs but I managed to find a small table right next to one). I absolutely recommend a visit here! When it comes to WFH: - Ample seating, but you may need to jump around to find a seat with a plug - If you need silence, this isn't the place to work! The music is pretty loud and it's busy with chatter. This was a perfect work vibe for me, but maybe not for everyone. - It has food and drink so it's got everything you need to stay for a while! I believe there is password protected Wi-Fi, not sure if it's accessible to everyone as I typically use my hotspot. Would come back to work here again!

For my first drink here I ended up getting a latte where the espresso was made from organic fresh roasted in house beans. The drink was very well made with the correct ratio of milk to espresso and was creamy, balanced, where the espresso clearly shined through and most importantly the drink was quite tasty. Relative to staff and facility, Joe the owner greeted me as I walked in the door and was very friendly and outgoing where he knew the names of several customers as they walked into the coffee shop. Joes friendly demeanor appears to be one of the strengths of this business, aside from his excellent coffee, as evidenced the return customers that came in during the short period I was in his shop. The facility is quite clean with a nice coffee shop vibe to it. The hot tea gets separately brewed before being placed in the to go cup. It's scalding, needed an extra sleeve. The white paper cup feels hotter than their yellow / amber sleeve. Not sure why they have two very different to go paper containers in the first place. Was really wanting a Green tea, but spiced it is. The fiery cinnamon spiced tea is okay, too weak for the medium container, only a slight hint of cinnamon. Could have definitely used another bag to make it more flavorful. My hubby said the Denver mint was decent, he's not a huge fan of their black brewed coffees so much from past visits, their flavored is the way to go here.

We live on the West Coast, were looking for Yemini coffee, and fortunately found Qamaria's website, ordering the Gate of Yemen dark roast. The roast is lighter and less oily than a French roast, as it should be, with some oil in the beans appropriate to something called a dark roast. We would say that Qamaria not only skillfully but more importantly respectfully roasts for the bean. This coffee makes us very happy, with a good dark "round" and balanced aroma to the ground beans and the brew. We made it pour over, but it feels most appropriate to stove top espresso or traditional style. It has a very satisfying long tail. A pour with a plot. A touch of the right kind of bitterness. The bean crushes easily between the fingers and grinds up finer than the espresso blend that we drink pour over (45% French Roast using Columbian beans, 45% Italian Roast using Mexican beans and 10% dark roast using Indonesian beans). Qamaria dark roast makes a pour over cup that is thicker than expected, which we find very satisfying: it's a sort of the character of traditional brewing but in a Chemex. We like the surprising way that a slight, fine sediment sneaks through the pour over paper filters and spreads across the tongue. Next we will move on to other Qamaria roasts and blends, brewing on stove top. The price point kills us, but how does one settle for ordinary to save money, when extraordinary gives such pleasure?
