I went there very recently ordered the Italian sub Mikes way of course super friendly staff and it tasted good, to my surprise when I go home around midnight my stomach started hurting an awful lot and could not sleep, I strongly suspect I got food poisoning and considered going to the Emergency Room, then at around 5-6 a.m I went to the bathroom and profusely vomited, I would not recommend you eat here there are better options around the area, it is not worth going through what I went through. read more

Came here today for dinner, I had a $1 off coupon. I usually go to the Troy location and I always get #13, the Italian, on white bread. It's one of my favorite subs. This location was standard for most Jersey Mike's and service was quick. We also tried Aunt Vickie's (parmesan?) chips and I had some of the agave vanilla creme soda, and both were good. Both the dining area and bathroom were clean, also. I'd come back to this location when in the area. read more

We come here about once a week for lunch and it's always so busy but you wouldn't notice since the staff here moves so quickly. John is the highlight of the experience with his contagious smile and great attitude! We asked John to make us somthing different than we normally get and we got a chicken-phillyroni. Staff was friendly and subs were good; however, the place was very dirty. Every table had food crumbs on them with stuff on the floor. There was only one customer in the place when we entered with three people working so they had enough staff to have one person clean the sitting area. As far as lunch sub joints, my wife and I agree that this has risen to the top of our list for such sandwiches. We stopped here on Boxing day last week and really enjoyed both the HOT and COLD subs. I had an Italian and she had some cheese steak and both of agree that the quality of these subs was excellent. I've come to this establishment probably 10 times now, I'm a local business owner who operates in the area. Occasionally I'll bring my employees in for a treat. Moving forward I don't think I can continue to come to this establish until some drastic changes are made. The Food Quality seems standard for jersey mikes however the people who are running this place. Specifically the manager guy who's incredibly rude and very clearly doesn't desire to keep his job. I've overheard him say sexually suggesting things to his female subordinates and speak down to everyone around him. The young girl with dreads who's almost always adding toppings to the prepared subs has misheard me ordering on 3 separate occasions, today they had a call in order with probably 8 subs.. and she decided to be a ""hero" and ask how I want my sub which is very specific.. well she stops adding things and begins to move the sub to wrap it and I said she forgot the vinegar ( which is ordered extra) and she began to essentially call me a liar and shake her head in disapproval. I replied " I've come in here a few times and you've misheard my order.. I don't appreciate you shaking your head.. it's very unprofessional" she then began to raise her voice and said " it's my right to shake my head and I'll do it if I want to" As a business owner its employees like this that can either make or break an establishment.. as her direct actions have led to this one star review.. also while she was yelling at a customer the manager stood there and smiled. If anyone who is above these people sees this I would highly recommend doing an internal investigation on whom you've entrusted customer service too. I too realize it's very difficult finding good workers now a days but you have to weigh the costs. I feel like I shouldn't have to apologize for writing this honest review but at the same time I realize it's not your ( the owners) fault for one or two persons neglect. I went there for lunch two days ago I'm assuming the manager was running the cash register. I went to go order not coming here to often and he rudely tells me to hurry up, due to him having 50 tickets I was astonished by his actions. I told him nevermind I'm good ended up ordering. He does not treat his customers or staff well I will not be going back I've never experienced this in a restaurant industry. Okay,... to start with, I always thought of this place as being too expensive for what you get. That being said, I had signed up for their club service and got a free sub, so why not give them a try. On first visit I had gotten the Meatball Marinara. I will go ahead and say this now, but I don't like a lot of the 'extras' that they offer, and doing it via the mobile, you can't really add anything. So I was really only getting meatballs, sauce and cheese. Whatever. As for the taste, it was very metallic tasting, and the meatballs tasted rather boring. That was the first visit, but my wife loved it. So, the next time she wanted, I decided to get what she had. The second time and from then on, I've fallen in love with this place. Chicken Bacon Ranch sub (minus ranch with mayo, because ew ranch) is the bomb. You get a ton of lettuce, ton of chicken and really gooey cheese tying it all together. It was and will forever be delicious, as it's my go to sub now. The servers and service itself are really nice and very polite. The subs sometimes take some time to make (but they're hot subs, it takes time). I expected for my name to be called and to come up and pick up the sub, but Kendra (I believe was her name) brought it right to our table with a smile. It's the small things that make you want to revisit the place, and this definitely helped. I haven't had a bad experience beyond that first sub. I will say that I do not like their roast beef, as it's very dry and bland. But it's always hit or miss honestly. read more

Be warned, there online order pick up is not efficient. I ordered a sub here online because they had a coupon for 20% off. I thought perfect, I'll save some money and avoid the line. Once you place the order you get a confirmation telling you to skip the line and stand in a different line for pick ups. Seems simple. Of course I go and there's a line, so I head to the pick up line. I'm the only one in it. The cashier takes the next person from the normal line, and I think, ok it's just because he was there already, fair. Then she takes the next and the next, until the whole normal line is gone. Then the cashier walks away, leaving me to stand there. Then a new customer walks in, goes to the normal line, and she takes his order. So I decide to switch lines and just go in the normal line and wait there for my sub. So note to self, even if you place the order online or by phone, just get in the normal line or you won't get your sub. read more

Update: corporate reached out to me to let me know they're going to (hopefully) discuss this more with management and make sure this is corrected for the future. They sent me gift cards for new subs in the future which was kind, but I think I'll wait a few months before returning to this establishment. I really love their sandwiches, but I stress how messy it always is. Getting your sandwich done the "Mikes Way" includes adding tomatoes, lettuce, onion & vinegar and oil to any sandwich. This is where it gets really messy to the point you are bound to have grease and oil all over your hands, self and oil soaking through your sandwich paper. This makes it IMPOSSIBLE to eat on the go, or even at home without a stack of towels. Prepare to get grease all over your phone, shirt, and face. The customer service is always great but DONT get your sandwich with oil and vinegar. I watched the dude literally POUR AND DUNK the oil to the point where I was squirming at the fact that I definitely had to wait to get home before eating it. The sandwich is always amazing. But PLEASE remember to tell them to WATCH IT WITH THE OIL. Get it LIGHT. I got the club and my date got the Italian sub. Both were excellent but we were a bit annoyed with the oil situation. Don't let this stop you from trying it. The meat quality is superb and the pickles are to die for. Just, be prepared for a bit of a mess. The Subs here are pretty hearty and really stick in you. I felt like I wasn't hungry again for 24 hours. The service in line was average , they didn't like that we had a couple of questions and wanted us to hurry up. There was no line behind us, just our own group. Food preparation was slow. Went here for the first time and one of the worst experiences ever. I got the classic chicken Philly and it wasn't cooked at all. I came home sick and awful because of it. The bread was so soggy and wet that i had to through half of it. There was soo much grease and oil from the uncooked meat. The sub was also kind of sweet. I'm reaching out regarding the Jersey Mike's location in Novi Michigan located at 26425 Novi Rd. It's relatively new but conveniently located and has been a fine place to go up until recently. The sandwiches are good, much better than the overrated Jimmy Johns my co-workers & acquaintances from the gym tend to gravitate towards but the service at this Novi location have been getting worst and less professional ever since this new owner or manager or whatever identifies himself as John Brown came into play. This guy is the epitome of unprofessionalism and poor customer service skills especially if this is his store as he stated it was. Back on Jan. 29th abt 6:30pm I attempted to call in my single sandwich order. First the phone was answered in a rude way and I was placed on hold for almost ten (10) minutes but could hear the guy that placed me on hold laughing and joking with his co-workers and he was singing. I did not hear him acknowledging other customers so I wasn't certain if they were busy or if he had just forgotten he had me on hold. I hang up and call back the line was busy three times I tried then finally got an answer and was able to place my order. I go to pick up my order approx 15 minutes later. there were two people that had just walked in before me that got in line to order their sandwiches and two people standing waiting for their sandwiches that had already been ordered. There were three employees working behind the counter and not one of them acknowledged me or the other people that had walked in before me for several minutes. Finally the guy who would later identify himself to me as John Brown upon me confronting his poor customer service and rude behavior took the two peoples order and had another employee began to get their sandwiches prepped. All the while orders already done were just sitting behind the counter ready to be picked up and no one providing any service to those of us who were just trying to get our pick up order. Another gentleman walked in after I had already been waiting for 10 minutes and he asked me if I had been helped yet and I explained the lack of even being acknowledged by any of the employees. No "I will be with you folks in a moment" or "Sorry for the wait" just John Brown joking with his co-worker while making sandwiches as orders ready for pick up are just sitting there. Then a door dash guy walks in wondering if his assigned pick up was ready or not he wasn't acknowledged either. Finally I asked could anyone help us that have already placed our orders especially since due to the Covid-19 Restrictions it seemed as if the lobby area was going to start filling up making social distancing more challenging. By this time it was five (7) people inside this limited capacity space plus the three (3) workers behind the counter. John Brown was immediately annoyed by my inquiry of can he at least cash some of us out and hand us our food which would literally take him lass then 2 minutes to do and get people out of the store but he went on the attack saying I had to wait like everyone else and people were here before me which I stated I understood all of that but no one is being helped on this end and sandwiches are just sitting getting cold. Every point I tried to make regarding his rudeness from the phone call in and his lack of in store customer service efforts he rudely cut me off so I got frustrated and used profanity demanding he do his job and he requested I get out of his store and emphasized it's his store and he doesn't have to serve me so I responded with more profanity and exited the store. I've gone to that Jersey Mike's since it first opened but refuse to ever go to that or any Jersey Mike's if guys like that John Brown is in charge. I told people from my job and gym who would sometimes go to that location and then was not surprised that some of them stated how bad the customer service had been at that location lately so they weren't going back either unless it's under new management so back to Jimmy Johns or Subway for us all until John Brown goes through a revised training course or is gone. read more

First time visiting a Jersey Mike's. Ordered a regular size #6 Roast Beef sub with chips and drink. Sandwich was weak; skimpy portion of flavorless meat, boring bread. Left feeling hungry after spending $11. Floors and tables were dirty; service was uninspired, but I can live with that. Came in around 5pm, the employee helped me select between two subs, and then another employee cashed me out while the third was in the back doing stock work. Their employee structure was great, though it was just me, it is nice to see corporate understands to keep staff during downtime, they are people too! The sub came out much more flavorful and protein packed than the subway and jimmy john counterparts, the place was clean, service with a smile, and even brought directly to my table. I would like this to become the mew sub standard across the state, I also appreciate the ability to tip, I dislike chains that say no tips, I know how hard they work, let a happy customer show appreciation. Every table in this establishment was dirty, along with the trash being completely full. This really is unexceptionable for the high standarts this organization has set. My boyfriend and I went to Jersey mikes on 10/19/19 , it was out first time there and we walked in at 8:55. The girls working were very rude and upset because we came in close to closing time. We had no idea it closed at 9 but I do not think they should have handled it this way. They aggressively made our sandwiches and rushed knocking things over and making a mess. The restaurant closed at 9 we came in 5 minutes before and we walked out at 9:03. The employees here do not know how to be professional in the work place and exhibited childish behavior. read more

Excellent sub, I must say. Went here for a late Sunday dinner and picked up a cold cut Italian. They shaved the meat and cheese right in front of me and explained to me nicely how they dress their subs.
