a bowl of chili and a sandwich

Not sure if they were short staffed or what? The gentlemen had the front counter had a personality of a door knob. The food was expensive and not very exciting. For a deli I was hoping for a whole lot more. They had Costco bought croissant rolls, sitting on the counter in the container. Definitely would not come back!

Under Half filled chicken noodle soup, does not match description at all!

They won't let me rate zero! Ordered soup and it wasn't even half way filled. Called the store and was told well they don't fill it all the way for travel purposes. So they are having customers pay full price for half portions, instead of purchasing larger containers and giving the Customer a reasonable portion size. Paying $7 for 6oz of soup is ridiculous. ALSO the photo and description does not match actual product, this is false advertising! You should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of people.

This has become one of my new go-to lunch spots. I have tried many sandwiches thus far and have not been disappointed. The Italian, the Corned Beef, and the Reuben are 3 of my favorites. I don't recall their exact names. The sandwiches can be ordered either Small or Large. I have always ordered the Large, and have been very full for the remainder of the day. One of these days, I'll try the Small... But they are so good that I can't help myself. A large sandwich, chips, and soda is approx $12. I would caution that this is not fast food. It takes 5 minutes or so to prepare such a delicious sandwich. Keep that in mind in case you are in a hurry.

Yummy! Is what my tummy is saying right now! We ordered the Rockwell's pastrami and Picasso turkey abstract with Black Cherry Boylan pops. I was a little hesitant at first with cream cheese in the pastrami sandwich, but you can't even really taste it. It compliments the sandwich very well along with they mustard and banana peppers. The turkey sandwich on the other hand was a little too sweet for my husband. I offered the other half of my sandwich to him and was sad I did because I wanted more! We would definitely be back again. The staff was very friendly and offered to explained their menu to us. Plenty of parking in their private lot.

Very disappointed with my experience. Website says they are open until 2pm on Saturdays. Went to this location and the open sign is on but store is closed. Sign on the door says they will be closed on Saturdays starting in April but it's still March. Was excited to try a new sandwich place :(

    Tuna Salad

Very disappointed this is 3rd time in row the mess it up and I spoke with manger "Jake" and he was very defensive about his mistakes and totally denied it which was very unprofessional I order ni chicken salad with tomato tortilla but they gave me tuna with flour tortillas and he sounds like I'm stupid. Never go back very disappointed this place run by lunatic.

Pleasantly surprised with our visit to Picasso! I love a good, solid deli turkey sandwich and they have just that (I know, nothing special) my boyfriend had the classic Reuben and he really liked it! It was quite busy at lunch time so don't go there in a hurry :)

I don't get on this side of town often, but when I do, I stop here. Such good food, consistently.

We weren't 100% sure about the parking but the friendly staff let us know that parking in the lot where the store front is located, is okay. The store is more spacious and offers quite a bit of drinks and snacks. We ordered better than sierra- which is now my favorite, and muffalata. Both sandwiches were absolutely delicious! You can tell the quality of the bread, meat, and sides are far better than other sandwiche shops. You do pay for the quality but think it's absolutely worth it. We also got a side of tuna pasta salad that was pretty good! I wish they added a bit more celery but could see this going great with crackers.

I loooove beef brisket and thought Texas was the only place I could get this delicacy. I was wrong. Imagine eating beef so moist it melts in your mouth like butter. Thank you Deli Unique for ruining my diet in advance. I will return. UPDATE 8/1/13 : proof that all good things end. I tried to go for breakfast in July and was surprised the menu changed for the worse. This restaurant has turned into a crappy Holiday Inn breakfast buffet. Powdered eggs and boiled hotdog meat galore. I tried the restaurant again for lunch at 12PM. No one was in the restaurant and the menu only had "three" sandwiches available. I predict the restaurant will be out of business by September.

Then no one ever came to take my order. Another lady came in and walked up to the counter for a to go order. She was helped right away, and i was still sitting there. So i decided that i should get my order to go as well. I took my menu and went up to the counter. Another person came in and sat at the counter. Again he was helped immediately. Then they took my order. I got a Cobb Salad to go. I have to say it was fantastic. It was huge enough for 2 meals and it was a really good price. The trick is i guess you do not sit in a booth when they are not busy, because, they do not want to wait on you. Get it to go or sit at the counter. I will go there again, i just did not like the customer service the first time.

The only issue is, I'm guessing the kitchen was backed up and the servers were a bit overwhelmed. We ended up having an enjoyable meal, and the food itself was great as always. And eventually someone who was not technically our server took care of us and did an excellent job. I shared eggs and challah french toast with my daughter and both were great. The latte (ehhh) ... I finally made it on a free morning, just in time for an early lunch. On the day of my visit, it was cold and wet, so outdoor dining was out of the question. Just inside is a large deli counter with items available for take-out. Beyond that was a large and stylish dining room, where diners enjoyed the last of their breakfasts. I was a smidge earlier than everyone else for lunch; the dining room filled up soon afterwards. I loved the huge menu - there were so many options for soups, salads (Maurice, Greek, and Cobb, to name a few), sandwiches (Reuben's, triple deckers, and even vegetarian), burgers and hot dogs, breakfasts (omelettes, waffles, and French toast), and deli classics. I opted for the Victor Special, extra cut, which included larger portions of both corned beef and pastrami, coleslaw, Swiss cheese, and Russian dressing. The thinly-sliced meat was indeed piled high at the center. For my side, I had wanted the onion rings, but they were already sold out! Instead, I went with the hash browns; they were crispy with a mashed potato-like interior. In retrospect, I should have tried some of the foods I've enjoyed from my hometown: knishes, blintzes, latkes; I'm now dreaming of meals I've had in my past. Service was fine at first, but my server got busy elsewhere, and her coworkers pitched in.
