Honestly everything looks good. All the bake food are fresh everyday. They have unique italian pasta and chocolate that you can't find in grocery store. Just overall a great local deli/bakery, why go to potbelly when you can get something better. They have macaroon now

Hair in the cookie - gross! It was embedded inside the cookie. Not under it.

I ordered a cake and 3 dozen cookies in person at the bakery. The young lady at the counter had trouble writing down the order but she read it back to me correctly. I was uneasy, leaving without paying a deposit or getting a receipt with the order but she assured me that's all they needed so I left. I called the morning of the order pickup and found out they had the wrong pickup date written on my order. A date I'm certain wasn't written on the order form since I watched what was being written while she took my order. After several apologies and an offer for a discounted in-stock cake (wrong flavors and sizes) and an offer to pick up whatever cookies they had in stock, I ran around town and found 2 cakes and cupcakes for the party. I called back to tell them I was all set on the cakes and since I ran out of time, I wanted to know if I could pick up the complimentary cookies the next day. Long story short, after being told they couldn't just hold the cookies for me because they would get hard (the day I was supposed to pick them up), so they sold them but told me I could come the next day and pick up fresh cookies. I picked up what looked like about 20 cookies and dropped off a majority at my friend's house who has 3 kids and kept about 5 for myself. Mine were stale. I called my friend and told him about the stale cookies and he said they noticed a few of theirs were stale too. The next day, I tried another, hoping it was a fresh one. Wouldn't you know it, there was a hair embedded into the cookie. See photo. I am so done with this place. Kroger bakery had excellent cake and cupcakes and the bakery employee was so wonderfully pleasant, I'm sorry I tried giving this place my business. I found another red velvet cake at Colasanti's. I had to make 2 last minute stops the day of the party to make up for their screw up. I wasted several hours calling and making my stops. I was sooooo mad. But I was willing to overcome the mistake until I was given crappy stale cookies and one that had a hair in it. I was really trying to support a small biz but they failed me 3 times on one order! (Order not ready, stale complimentary cookies and hair)

Glorious stories of buying a lb of pastrami and it being so good and hot that they ate it all in the parking lot. Another case of oversized matzoh balls and a tasty broth. They have exceptional meats and a terrific cole slaw. Portions are usually on the large side. However, today's sandwich was a bit skimpy, by comparison. This is also dessert central. Plenty of danish, cookies and 7-layer cake. Prices are actually reasonable for the product received. 10/25

They have a menu board with multiple options listed. You order at the stand at the back of the store, and then our food was brought out to us even though we had ordered it to go. I am not sure if that is always the process- I was expecting to go to the counter to pick it up myself so that was a nice surprise! We ordered our sandwiches to go even though we were dining in as we knew we would be taking home leftovers. The seating area inside is no frills. They have less than 10 tables inside, and when we were leaving all of them were full with people waiting for seats. They did appear to have 2 tables outside but they were not being used as it was raining. They did have a carafe full of ice water that was self serve by the door, and they had large cups available which I appreciated! My eyes were immediately drawn to the Spicy Chicken Caesar and the Napa Club. Since this was my first time I ordered both and planned to share half of each sandwich. When I opened the Spicy Chicken Caesar I was surprised by the appearance of it. I had expected a lot more lettuce inside. It looked more like chicken salad rather than salad with chicken. The flavor was good and it was not too spicy! The focaccia was very soft. The Napa Club had great flavor to it, but when I was eating it I could really tell that there was avocado inside of it. The predominant flavor was the garlic and herb aioli. I did feel the chicken was a touch on the dry side. Overall, my experience and food were good; however, I am not sure I agree with the rave reviews. I would return in the future and would love to try some of their other meats aside from chicken, and their pasta salad also looked nice. The service was friendly and I feel like the price was fair. It's a nice addition to downtown Farmington!

It's a place you'd never know about unless you drove by it or saw it recommended somewhere because people have almost never talked about it. The sandwiches range from unappetizing to great. Plenty of types to choose from and some unique options. Nothing nearly as groundbreaking as the theming implies, but far more interesting and quality than many other sandwich and sub places. Cranberry sauce on a sandwich was not invented here, but you won't find it anywhere else in the area. The salads used to be cold and unimpressive, but they've actually improved significantly. The chicken is bad and basically inedible, but that's true at almost every place of this caliber. For a few bucks more you get something way better and more appetizing than what you could at a Subway or Jimmy Johns. It's a step or two above Panera Bread. The shop is very spacious and large with a lot of cool decor and arrangements, but with the hours you'd never come here to eat in. They used to be open on Saturdays (and would sometimes hang up on you) but have cut their narrow times to basically nothing. Carryouts couldn't be more convenient. There'll be a brown bag with your name on it to the left of the counter. Online ordering is great. Location: 4* Convenience: 4* Service: 2* Product/quality: 3* Aesthetics: 4*

There is no reason a sandwich with two slices of bread, some sandwich meat, bottled Russian dressing, and two slices of cheese would cost anywhere over $8... I have been patronizing this restaurant for over 12 years. I have a feeling that they are taking advantage of their long standing position in this community, a loyal customer base, and customers not understanding pricing of beef.. 6 slices of corn beef is about $3, two slices of rye bread is $0.50, two slices of Swiss cheese is $0.20, a spread of Russian dressing is $0.05.... And they will charge you $20 for a sandwich..... this is awful, disloyal, and advantageous. Don't go here, find another place for lunch that respects hard working people trying to get a decent sandwich. Their food is great, but no intelligent person is paying $20 for a sandwich. It's almost laughable if it wasn't so disrespectful.
