My wife and I shared a meal that cost just north of $100, including 2 happy hour drinks, It was worth it, though, so please read on. We started with potato croquettes. Don't be fooled by the fact that "croquette" is a French word. These absolutely sing with grana padano - similar to parmesano reggiano - and traditional Italian flavors; it doesn't need the basil aioli that was drizzled on the plate below it. I wanted to savor every bite. We shared minestrone soup while savoring the croquettes. Unlike the so-so offerings at most Italian restaurants, this minestrone was robust and flavorful. I ordered the Strozzapreti Norcina at the server's recommendation. This glorious pasta is made with sausage, tomato, cream, that wonderful Grana Padano, and truffle oil. Another plate to be savored. The service was solid throughout, though the pasta could have been hotter (i.e. could have been brought out sooner). It was really great to enjoy a wonderful meal with my wife, but I can't imagine being able to afford meals for my 2 kids. The variety of the menu is truly incredible. They have 12 different salads on the menu, for example, and dozens of different beautifully crafted plates and pizzas. We could come back here over and over again and never get tired of the menu. The price will still cause me to reserve this for special occasions, but I can't think go a better place for such occasions.

A cool thing about their menu is their sliders. You get to choose whether you want a small or a full size. The idea is to be able to pick different sliders to choose to eat. I decided on the park bowl which came with white rice topped with sesame seeds, avocado, seaweed, and carrots. I added a salmon fillet. It was so fresh and delicious - and VERY filling! I also ordered the calamari for an appetizer and that was pretty tasty as well. I did have a cocktail, it was OK, I really didn't taste any liquor and it was a little bit more sweet than I would have liked.

I never expect stellar service when you have a big party. The issue I had was the food. It was mid at best. First it came out at all different times which I think is not ideal. I ordered the chicken Caesar wrap and it said it was grilled chicken.... There is absolutely NO way this was grilled chicken, it was canned chicken shredded to the max. That was disappointing because I was thinking it was grilled chicken cut into strips or chunks and then put in the wrap. I assumed incorrectly. For me it was very sub par, for the money I would rather go elsewhere. If you're going just for drinks, then maybe it's a decent spot. I had wine so nothing too adventurous.

We stopped in for dinner on a Monday evening before attending the Yelp Event in Livonia…read more The staff are really great - I was welcomed and seated right away. It was slow on the restaurant side, likely because it was a Monday, but the bar side was full of what looked to be "regular" patrons. Our server was really nice and very patient with my fiend and I. I ended up getting the sliders with chips. When they arrived, I started eating the first one. The buns are soft and they were served hot. That first bite was great! As I ate more into the center (these are not small patties), I found it to be slightly medium-medium well. I didn't eat the very center and didn't worry about it. Once I bit into the second one, though, I found that it wasn't cooked nearly enough so I just ate the edges since I had already ate most of the first one. Despite having eaten most of it, the server and Manager made everything right. I'll be back to try some of their other menu items since they had quite a bit I wanted to try.

It took over 30 minutes to get our burgers. They weren't full, so I don't know what took so long. When I got my hamburger it was so undercooked, I would consider it rare. It had a fully red interior. I had trouble finding my waiter, as he did not return to check on our food. I finally flagged to him down, and told him the issue. He replied that it is just how they cook it. Now, mind you, my father's hamburger was cooked properly, and was pink only in the center. I was asked if I wanted something else. I did, but it had taken so long to get the food, that I didn't want to wait another 10-12 minutes. I sent the hamburger back, uneaten. The waiter took the burger off the bill, and acted like he was doing me a favor for doing so. Terrible food, terrible service!

Always amazing! Today especially!…read moreWe literally come here once a week because of the exceptional service, food and family feel! Today, Lynn waited on us and was fantastic, as always. Mary cashed us out and was very helpful and sweet as can be. George, please thank George! He was so very kind to help us with a special request and went ABOVE AND BEYOND! Truly! We just gave our friends the gift of some of our favorite things from Cantoros and George took that extra step! I was eager to avoid the kitchen and had always wanted to try the restaurant, so I was game. We were able to get a reservation immediately and headed on over. Upon arriving, we were promptly seated and greeted by our server. We started our meal with the grilled calamari - a nice change from the typical fried that is usually served in restaurants. It was light and filling, and accompanied by some delicious bread and olive oil with balsamic to dip. For my main course, I chose the orrechiette pasta. The portion was gargantuan - I can have it for at least 3 meals - and the flavors were so balanced and well-composed. Our server did a good job of making sure we had our food promptly and that plates were cleared out as we finished each course. She was friendly as well. We really enjoyed our meal and are looking forward to introducing friends and family to the restaurant soon!

The first was delivery and it arrived perfectly prepared and exactly as ordered. I went with the seafood pasta and my family split an order or arancini. Everything was excellent. A few weeks later I came back through for dinner with some friends and we landed on the heated patio. It was cozy and comfortable. We split the bruschetta with prosciutto, goat cheese, and fig spread. Very good! For my entree I went with the asiago baci, little purses of an asiago and ricotta stuffed pasta tossed in a garlic cream sauce with tomatoes and asparagus. So so good! And a nice sized portion as well. For dessert we split a slice of the lemon torte. Light and delicious. The perfect end to the meal. I was there catching up with friends and we definitely moved a little slower ordering (too busy talking!) and our server was really kind and patient with us. A great experience all around.

The meatballs in the spaghetti dish were delicious. Flavorful and not dried out. The sauce tasted like it had been cooked with love. I also liked the short rib. The sauce had been elevated with some wine, and the meat was tender and rich. The accompanying potatoes were so creamy. I would order both dishes again. We each got a dessert. My husband got the tiramisu and I got the chocolate cake. I guess the tiramisu was just ok. I loved the chocolate cake. On our second visit, we tried the Rigatoni Caprino and the Chicken Marsala Florentine. Of the two, we liked the rigatoni better. It had that super red sauce on it. The sausage was on point, and the goat cheese complimented the rest of the dish so well. The marsala was good, though my husband I agreed we had both had better. The sauce just lacked something. My husband wasn't that impressed with the Crème Brûlée cheesecake, and wouldn't order it again.
