Talk about DELICIOUS! You can tell they are baked FRESH daily. Not overwhelmingly sweet and the icing is scrumptious! Price is on par at $5.50 each. They have a menu that changes monthly, along with special items for holidays and other special occasions. These were for my birthday and a nice handwritten card was included. The ribbon was $1.50 extra but added to celebratory occasion. I had a plate that matched so used it to create a nice photo, including adding a candle and making a wish! Not only are the cupcakes beautiful, they taste as good as they look! Another plus is each box comes with instructions for storing and handling. I'm already planning my next visit!

Due to a food allergy I didn't want to style the tart myself. I contacted a number of local bakeries as well as Plum Market, Whole Foods, Zingermans and more. None could accommodate my specific request. Finally, I came across sweet dreams and they were able to make me a beautiful raspberry tart to use for my images, based on the appearance, I wanted and in a timely manner. On this lunch experience she brought me in. This is black owned bakery and cafe. It was a pleasure to actually meet the owners Jannet and Martin Earnest (Kappa owner). Divine 9 representing for a dine-in experience. The menu is pretty vast with bagels, breakfast sandwiches, salads, ice cream, cupcakes, wraps, and yes my favorite, carrot cake. I had the Turkey Avocado Club Sandwich, chips, unsweetened tea and a carrot cake cupcake. Winning! Everything was delicious! Just Baked was voted best cupcakes in 2022. They also were voted the Best of Southfield for two consecutive years in 2023 & 2024. You can find them just a traffic circle drive across from the amazing Southfield Public Library. I asked the lady when I picked them up, very nicely, that I thought I ordered an arrangement and she, rudely, stated "no you didn't," and waves my receipt around exclaiming I ordered the tray. I said "Oh, okay..." and before I could think about it she said "okay, have a nice day!" and rushed me out. The cookies look great, but the customer service was terrible. For how much they're charging for these cookies the least they could be is respectful. There are plenty of bakeries in the area that are happy to accommodate customers instead of feeling entitled to be rude once the money is in their pocket. I will never be back.
