The staff at this commerce twp Culver's is friendly and attentive. I ordered an Atlantic fried cod sandwich with extra lettuce & tomatoes with fresh fries. The sandwich was incredibly fresh out of the grease and so were the fries. As a chef,I recognize wild caught cod and I appreciate it. This absolutely the BEST fish sandwich I've ever had,and certainly better than any fast food fish sandwich one could get. I omitted the drink and my order total was about $14 and worth every cent. Culver's is becoming a regular spot for us. We used to go to A&W for ice cream cones but lately construction has turned a ten minute drive into 20-30 minutes. Then we realized that we could get ice cream at a nearby Culver's five minutes away with no construction traffic and, unlike McDonald's, their ice cream is never broken! They always have chocolate and vanilla and a flavor of the day. Then we tried the different sandwiches they offer, also very good. Service is consistently slower than at McDonald's but we're usually not in a hurry anyway. I especially like their Cod fish Sandwich. Burgers and Chicken sandwiches are also very good. If we're ever in a hurry, I'd likely choose McDonald's. But otherwise, I'm a Culver's convert! read more

Dry greeting as o stepped up to the counter, placed my order, burger basket no pickles no mayo, add ketchup and mustard. Food came with just ketchup and mustard nothing else! I don't send food back. First of all, the menu board was too much to read..so many options that was hard for me to decide. I was told that it will take 10-15 minutes for them to prepare my order...I settled for the the usual double patty butter burger then decided to upgrade the meal with cheese curd, frozen vanilla custard with raspberry and caramel. Finished the burger in a minute or two but the curd was over the top salty. The fresh frozen custard was really good. Also ordered the North Atlantic Cod sandwich. Was tempted the 2nd time to upgrade it to a meal with a side of crinkle cut fries and chocolate milk. Geesh the fries were also salty ... my conclusion that it was fried in the same oil as the cheese curd and the person who prepared the sides have no sense or idea how much salt was added to the final product. I hate myself for spending close to $30 for the bad experience. The dining area is not full for dinner service but outside there is a line of cars for drive thru order and pickup. I couldn't remember if there was music. At the same time, it seems like there were more people working than eating ;-). The crew members were mostly young. The lady manager was there constantly reminding them to check the orders but still I had to go back twice for missing items. Despite the mishap, the young lad Apologized and made a big difference to keep me calm. In conclusion I don't think I can go back to this location...the service was inefficient, the sides were too salty and what a waste of my money. Pro tip: order ahead through their app if you are in a rush and pickup and eat in store. Your food will be ready when you arrive (about 10-15 min after ordering) I like this location and have always had good food here. I was greeted immediately and let the cashier know that I had an online order. We received our food and sat down at one of the many clean tables. I don't have a review about a specific visit as I've been here so many times and have had most of the menu. I'm partial to the Reuben sandwich, not bad for fast food, although I think Culver's is a step above fast food. The fish sandwich is every bit as good as anything offered in any restaurant. The pork tenderloin reminds me of the street variety served in central Illinois, where I used to work. Chili is a lot like what I make at home. You get the picture. The food's good and there's a decent variety. My wife loves the cranberry bacon blue salad and has one every couple days. The staff has improved since they opened. In the beginning there were a few who didn't seem to care. They'd run out of tea or chili several hours before closing. Trying to call and talk to a manager was an exercise in futility and often resulted in getting hung up on. This is no longer an issue. As a customer, I'm satisfied and keep coming back. I'm also a Door Dasher and seldom ever have to wait more than a minute for my customer's food. I do have one complaint these days. My beloved Reuben is a dollar fifty more than the Wixom location. All the menu items are priced higher, but that difference seems staggering. I live to close to the Commerce location to make the drive to Wixom, but will be checking out the Novi Road location when it opens. Ambience: There isn't any. But that's ok. I love Culver's but this is the second time Iv come here for a burger and it was soggy and completely wrong. I seen her write the order down and get it right and everything then when I get home, my burger is plain and on the receipt it says plain like adding bacon, pickles, and onions to my burger was too much to ask. Their cheese curds have gotten so salty and their onion rings are so greasy. Yes I know it's a fried piece of onion but the amount of grease that comes out when you bite is sickening this is my first real meal in a long time and I'm very disappointed. I tried to come to Culver's a few days ago, but they were only doing drive through and I wanted to eat in, so I left. But today, my sister wanted frozen custard and the first place we tried was closed, so we decided to come here and try again. Much to my surprise & delight, the dining room was actually open! I'd never eaten at a Culver's before, so I didn't really know what the process was. (We'd gotten drive through at one on vacation, but it was during COVID when they limited menus.) I had a coupon for BOGO meal deals, so we stood a few minutes and mulled about our choices. My sister decided on the regular butterburger, broccoli and iced tea. I got the mushroom & Swiss butterburger with mashed potatoes and iced tea. (I'd have gotten broccoli as well, but I figured it would be overcooked for my taste, and it was.) First of all, the iced tea was so fresh and warm that it melted my ice! The ice machine seemed low on ice, so I refilled my cup with what I could get. It was so nice to have such fresh tea on a hot day. Our meals came pretty quickly. I really enjoyed my burger. I took a little taste of just the meat part, and it was really good. I got the mashed potatoes without gravy. They were fine -- nothing special -- but absolutely piping hot, and there was a lot! We decided to get our custard to go. I was a little confused by the options because the freezer with pints had lots of flavors, but when you order it to eat right away, your choices are chocolate, vanilla & the flavor of the day. Today it was some kind of strawberry & chocolate, which didn't appeal to me at all. So, I asked if they can mix vanilla and chocolate. They said they can do a scoop of each. (I thought it was the soft-serve style, but it was more like softened hard ice cream. ) It was really, really good -- perhaps even better than the frozen custard place we'd started out for. (I made it there once.) It was rich and creamy and didn't taste at all like chemicals, which so many ice cream places' ice creams do. And, I bought a couple of pints to keep at home. read more

Your typical Culver's although the hours online said 9pm closing on Sundays and we arrived at 833pm today and only the drive-thru was open. (I know it was 833pm because apparently the dining room closed at 830pm ... Womp womp). I'm a huge fan of Culver's so I'm glad there's now one open in Commerce! And if you sign up for the eclub you get a BOGO value basket coupon ($9 off max) so we did that today. Total bill was $20 because we got two premium combos (mushroom Swiss, double mushroom Swiss, pretzel nuggs, and cheese curds) for $12 each and also a chocolate concrete with Reese's. Their cheese curds are soooo good and I crave them constantly; the pretzel nuggs with beer cheese are also great. This is the second issue. Ordered over $35 in drive thru. Wide found she was missing bacon double cheese burger. Went back with receipt manager refused to replace missing order. The first problem was I was shorted $20 in change. Stopped in drive-thru, manager pwrson running the store said I was "out of luck" no manager there. I haven't had Culver's since I moved from Tennessee. Well over a decade ago. I stopped in here for lunch after shopping at Ishtar middle eastern store. Very close by. Service was outstanding. Friendly. I ordered a double butter burger basket and a chocolate malt. The chocolate malt was just delicious. A little thick to use a straw but who cares. I only wish I had three hands. One for the burger. One for the fries. And one to spoon the malt in my mouth. It was awesome! It completed me. lol!!! I love the ketchup station. Napkins. Everything is just well done. It looked like a machine in the kitchen. Smooth. I ate at Culver's for years down south before I moved here. With other eateries that are down south I have noticed they just aren't the same quality as they here. They are always much better down south. Always!!!! I have to believe it's the care. This location seemed to have pride. It was really good! Culver's is funny. It's not that anything has super tasty flavor. It's that it's extremely fresh. And that's a big deal. I actually wish Culver's would put a little seasoning salt on the meat. It would take it over the top. Like a lawerys brand seasoning. Something. Not overpowering. Just accent it. Culver's is probably my favorite fast food chain. It's the only one I know of that you can get cheese curds and pretzel bites as your side order. If you have never been, the menu is rather sizable, but they're known for their "butter burgers" (which are smashed burgers with butter toasted buns) and their variety of frozen custard flavors. This location holds true to the Wisconsin chain's good quality and service. I would only say sometimes the drive-thru line has been rather long! read more

Extremely unhappy! Shrimp was tough and burned, same for chicken in Strawberry Fields salad which had ONE sliced strawberry and a couple cherry tomatoes! Went back with the food, wanting a refund and the manager (with attitude) said no refunds because we paid ON LINE! No apology, no "sorry " or anything remotely showing consideration. Three visits and always the same. Shrimp or fish always fried too long or in old oil. Terrible. The last time I returned the meals asking for a refund. I was told because I purchased online they couldn't refund me from the store. I would need to go online and go to support for a refund. That turned out to be a bad joke. Super disappointed with Culver's in Commerce Township. I ordered a cranberry bacon blue salad with grilled chicken. It was awful! The chicken was so salty, the salad was mostly soggy, the cucumbers were soggy and there was one tomato. I had maybe 4 bites before I gave up. I called and a male manager came out. He was clearly annoyed and said "you are most of the salad", I will go get you another. I told him I preferred a refund and that I did not want another salty salad. He refused and just said "you are it". I told him to forget it and that it's ridiculous he wasn't trying to help make the situation right. He just walked away. Why would I want another salty wilted salad. My bill came to just over $17. I had the salad, cheese curds and large root beer. I will not be returning to this location. read more

Absolutely amazing. The most ridiculous manger approach to a customer. Apparently when ordering via drive thru there is a volume restriction. I did not see any notice of required DB (decibel level) however the manager approach to paying customers is to demand to be quite or leave. With all do respect I am not of a younger wilder age where I may not respect the work environment. If this is the managerial direction for Culver's I will guarantee I will never spend my money at any of theses franchises. Beyond slow. Closes randomly with no regard for posted hours. A disgusting interior seems like it's never properly been cleaned. The food is rarely anywhere near fresh. The Culver's locations in Walled Lake and White Lake are much better in every possible aspect. My wife and I went THERE for the fish and chips yesterday afternoon. They got our order all messed up. We were eating inside and after 25 minutes, they brought out two bags for takeout!! No trays or anything!! The place was FILTHY!!! The tables had not been cleaned; YUCK!!! They had run out of catsup and napkins. There was food left on the tables and floor. DOUBLE YUCK!! The No. Cod tasted like it was cooked 3 hours ago. It was oily, greasy and DISGUSTING!! Even the FF were soft, mushy and cool, like they had been sitting back in the kitchen for ages???
