Culver's does make a pretty good burger, and my wife LOVES their chicken strips. I've not been in the actual restaurant, but have been through the drive through a couple of times now. They make each burger to order from fresh, not frozen, beef. So after you pull up to the window and pay, if it's busy, they will give you a number and have you pull forward to wait for them to deliver your order. I have no problem waiting for made to order food. We have never had to wait too long either. The burgers themselves are pretty good. Nice and juicy, but not stellar. The fries are fantastic. They are crinkle cut fries that are nice and crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. Since this is my review, I'm going with a 3 star A-OK place. If it were up to the Wife it would be at least 4 stars. I have had no problems with the place and would recommend you give it a try! read more

I'm from Los Angeles and this place is like Farmer Boy's, but only slightly better. It's like a classier way to do fast food. Some nice food items are the frozen custards and the fried cheese balls. I had the following: - Cheese burger - bland but filling. 3/5 - Frozen Custard - it's texture was similar to a vanilla shake but tasted like the flavor was diluted or watered down. I was very hungry yesterday, so I popped into Culver's. All I wanted was a double cheese burger with onions, pickles and tomatoes, but I suppose that was too much to ask for. Nathan was harassing me because he assumed I was LGBTQ+ community and constantly made remarks about it. It was insensitive and mean. He gave me bad vibes and I didn't feel safe. Usually every time I go there, it's always happy and positive, but not yesterday. I'm still deciding whether or not to keep going or go to a different location, but I won't stand up for that sort of ignorance. :( read more

This Culver's gets the fast food 4 star+. This place is for sure on the upper echelon of quick service restaurants. I don't understand some of the other reviews here - they all speak of butter burgers and fries. Yeah they are very good here with unique cheese. Every order is made to order. I would not recommend wasting your experience here on a burger. They offer so much more that is so much better. They have prime rib sandwiches, pork tenderloin sandwiches, cod sandwiches, fried chicken, and my favorite; the pot roast sandwich with the Wisconsin cheese curds. Just fantastic and seasoned right. Remember every order is made to order, so it comes out smoking hot every time. They also have a full line of salads, sides, and soups instead of the fries. My favorite sides include the green beans, (real)mashed potatoes with gravy, and of course, the cheese curds with marinara. My favorite soups are the broccoli cheddar, tomato florentine, and the chili supreme which is pretty good for a fast food joint. They offer a different soup menu daily along with a different flavor of the day with their frozen custard. Try them all. They are a 13% butterfat and loaded with goodies. Ok my wife and I have eaten here on more than one occasion. We ate here last night before going grocery shopping. We ate, went grocery shopping then went home. After a couple hours both my wife and I were feeling stomach pains, and diarrhea, that still seems to be affecting us this morning. Only I can think of is the burgers did seem extra greasy, but we've eaten here many times in the past, so not sure what's going on. The place was clean, the employees were all nice, and pleasant as always. I had this a few times over the past month. I am in the trucking school right down the street and I have to walk to wherever I go. The first time was the Cod dinner. The first few bites were great and then I realized that most of the "fish" was breading. Despite the breading the portions were great for the price and fast food. 2nd time was the butta burger or is it butter burger? That was surprisingly very good and very well priced. 3rd time was the chicken and..... no complaints but nothing special. I just got back with the pot roast dinner. My question is this, what is their deal with bread and starches? Considering it is fast food.... I mean pot roast? That is a nice change. Can ed string Beans, canned gravy but the roast is on top of Texas toast...... then smashed taters.... AND a roll. That is a lot of bread and starch. Still tasted good and the $7 price tag can not be beaten. Now here is a problem, when I was in there a customer started choking, the entire staff pretty much froze up. I have had many jobs in the restaurant business and we were always taught the Heimlich maneuver. I know the old school way of CPR but I am from NJ/NYC and I know a lot of people being sued over someone performing the Heimlich on a choking person. YES IF THIS CUSTOMER STARTED TO DIE I WOULD HAVE JUMPED IN but after about a minute they started to cough (a good thing). Just kind of odd how the entire staff just froze up like deer in headlights. Remind me to never choke in there! I was not familiar with the Culver chain. I was travelling and in a hurry so I gave it a try. Neat, clean, orderly, organized. They have a big menu with lots of variety. I'm a burger guy so I had the double cheese with fries combo. The burger was very good. I was leary of the fries because they were the thick, crinkle cut and I usually find them to be limp and meh... but I was surprised - they have figured out how to put a nice crust on the outside and they were quite good. Our first visit to this chain. We found it very adequate but nothing great. I had the Wisconsin cheese burger and it was good, but greasy. Wife had the pulled pork sandwich, and said it was okay, not great. Fries were good but not the greatest ever, or anything of the sort. We didn't try their custard or ice cream. The staff was friendly and almost up to a Chick-Fil-a status, and I think any business should strive to have their employees hit that level. Usually there's at least one highlight, but I got ancient chicken coated in salt, cold green beans soaking in sugar, and reheated mashed potatoes again drenched in salt. The custard shake was out of this world; I had vanilla with almond shavings. The fries were fresh and tasty, but, overall, Culver's did not live up to the "best burger ever" that I had been told; while an excellent and tasty treat, it falls within the bucket of a 'truck stop' burger, somewhere in a middling tier. Let's face it - it's fast food. But this Culver's has the friendliest service I've encountered at a fast food restaurant so I felt the need to review! My husband and I stopped in late in the evening before heading out of town, and the staff was still friendly, energetic & positive. We had a large order of Wisconsin cheese curds to share and they were (admittedly very unhealthy) fried cheese perfection with a container of creamy ranch dipping sauce. The dining room was absolutely spotless and on a cold & rainy January night we sat next to the fake fireplace which made for a cozy break. Definitely miles beyond the atmosphere of typical fast food, making the slightly higher burger & custard prices seem in line with the overall value here. The kicker for my trip was visiting the very clean, modern - dare I say stylish - ladies restroom which happened to have REAL fresh flowers provided (as advertisement) by a local florist. They were so gorgeous I fought the urge to steal them for my own! read more
