Culver's in Simpsonville has an irritating propensity toward hiring insufferably entitled staff whose only aim is to collect a check, and abysmal customer service is the end result... Me: "Uh, miss, I don't mean to interrupt you -- I know you're busy, but I've been waiting for 10 minutes on my order..." Cashier: "You see all dem tickets back dere?!!" Me: (somewhat taken aback) "Well, I'm sorry, but that's not my problem... That sounds like a management problem." Cashier: "I ain't likin' yo attitude!!" Me: "I'm not crazy about yours..." Cashier: (flips the bead-laden extensions) "I ain't dealin' wid dis!! Next!" Until Culver's in Simpsonville adopts a more mainstream business model and drops the DEI idiocy, it's probably best to go elsewhere for meals. read more

Service is always slow every time I come, I came today and did an online curbside order and ended up waiting 30 minutes until I pulled up to the drive through window and they magically had my food and drinks sitting there ready. They definitely need to work on the speed of getting food out and apparently paying more attention. read more

I will say the food was good, as expected, fish sandwich, double cheeseburger, onion rings, all cooked perfectly But I have never seen a restaurant so dirty, and the employees walking directly past the messes and not doing anything about it. Dirty tables, dirty floor, and the condiment area is an absolute disaster. Even the drink station is a mess. This is a management issue, not a help shortage issue. read more

Drive through is extremely slow! The only car in the drive through, ordered a Burger, fries, and a drink... which was $12+, and sat in my car for 22 minutes waiting in my food. Food is good, a bit pricey for a drive thru restaurant. Service needs some work. read more

The highest quality of "fast" food. The cheese curds are a great side to substitute for fries. Plenty of food and fast service. You are given a number and they bring your food to your booth. Very casual dining or takeout. read more

The fish is good and the closest thing to Captain Ds you'll get (since there's not many of those around anymore). The patty melt is also delicious, as well as the butter burger. You can't go wrong here except for the parking lot, which is always tight. read more

After our shopping visit to Carter's we made a trip to Culver's in Simpsonville for lunch. Culver's opens at 10:00 am, and a few people were already inside. The store was clean and quiet, so was the restroom. No wait time to place my order, I decided on the two piece chicken strip basket with fried and a drink, I also treated my niece to lunch, she ordered the four piece chicken strip basket with fries, and for little man a small chocolate/vanilla swirl frozen custard. No chicken yet for him, only one little bottom tooth in the front. My other niece ordered a butter burger with cheese curds. They take a name and give you a number. The drinks are self serve, with a napkin, and condiments section. I had lemonade to drink, not a long wait for our food to be brought out. The chicken was tasty and hot, and so were the fries, both nieces enjoyed their food, the cheese curds were hot and crispy. I just had to try the frozen custard which I enjoyed, and so did little man. I enjoyed my first time dining at Culver's though it took me a while to finally dine here. The service was friendly and fast, the atmosphere was nice with the Christian music playing over the speakers, it was a very enjoyable lunch with family. read more

Went here for frozen custard. There is a slight wait to allow for each order to be created for each customer. This was fine. Ordered from the drive-thru, so the was an abundance of designated parking spots for the drivers to pull up to wait for the order to be brought to the area directly. Therefore, the outdoor parking ambience was great to know where to park to get your food. The flavour of the frozen custard was ok, but there is an oily residue that coats the spoon when eating. Unsure why this was the experience with the frozen custard, as I have not been here before to know if this is normal or not. But the residue of the oil or fats in the custard creates a bumpy texture on the spoon. It was not something with a good mouth feel when eating. Perhaps there was a mixture combination defects in the custard recipe. Something I did find surprising was that the raspberries added to the custard were fresh raspberries, but that meant seeds were abundant from the fruit. Aside from the few setbacks, the flavour was still nice. I'd try this place again, just would not order any fruit with seeds. Curious if the custard would be better on a different day. read more

Food is mediocre at best but we come specifically for ice cream. Don't think this will be a fast easy trip for family ice cream. They send EVERY CAR to park after paying and after 20 minutes of waiting for ONLY ice cream my husband went in to see what the issue was and they pull the ice cream out of a freeze already made and only 2/3 full. We visited the new Culver's on Harrison Bridge Road tonight for the first time. Culver's is one of our favorite fast casual restaurants, but tonight's experience was very disappointing. While I realize this store has been open only several weeks, nearly every aspect of operations was below standard. The front-end order handlers struggled with the order and made mistakes. A cup of water had spilled on the floor near the fountain. It was dangerous for slipping and the floor was still wet and the floor not properly cleaned an hour later. Our table was not bussed. We asked for it to be cleaned. The young man did not know how to clean the table and left it very wet, so we used napkins to wipe the table dry. There were too many employees behind the counter talking about personal topics and, work policies in an unprofessiinal manner. Upon leaving we self bussed the table. All the trash receptacles on both sides of the building were overflowing with trash. We could not identify a manager on duty. It is clear that training, coaching, and attention to detsil is needed at this store. read more

I inquired of the waiter if it was the correct site. He affirmed that it was. After entering my credit card information I arrived home to a call from my bank concerning fraud activity on my card. I'd never been to a Culver's, so when the new one opened in Simpsonville we decided to try it out. I'm starting with a rating of 3. They'd been open only a week, and I assume it takes a little time to work out the kinks. Food - we tried the shrimp and the North Atlantic cod. The fish was awesomely fried and very beautiful to behold. Not super flavorful, but cod isn't. The shrimp were kind of meh. I assume just a deep fried frozen breaded shrimp. Fries were quite good, onion rings better than many. I approve of the moderate fry portion size. I was full anyway, and it seems criminal to waste fries the way I usually have to at most places. I liked the coleslaw, which has celery seed in it (I recognize that from my own recipe). The tartar sauce was not as tasty as my own mayo and dill relish, but good enough to use for the fish, which needed something to give it zing. Tiny, tiny lemon wedges. Come on folks, lemon lovers need more than a handful of drops! Real butter - awesome! Decent dinner rolls. The sweet tea tasted weird, though. My biggest issue was the wait time - at least 20 minutes. I might expect that at a normal sit-down restaurant, but at least they give you a basket of bread or something to kill time. I can't imagine what it's like at the drive through (unless that got priority, because it was pretty busy around 8 pm). On the pricey side for what it is (but most places are, if they're going to maintain quality in these times). I like the way they broke up the space in the dining area. It was a bit overlit, but otherwise pleasant (I prefer a gentler ambiance). Don't forget to dust the fake flowers on the table, or they'll end up looking like the plastic flowers in my grandmother's bathroom - gray and fuzzy with dust :) read more

I ordered the deluxe combo with a concrete mixer. Culver's is always a wait (avid goer in the Midwest) but I was concerned when cars behind me with huge orders (the big plastic bag) were receiving their food before me (online ordering was down...I'd tried). Well, my concrete mixer was half a milky consistency and my fries warm (not hot). So, my food was sitting. Probably won't revisit because I know what Culver's is supposed to taste like.
