The meat is fresh shaved when you place your order, and you can top off your sub with whatever you want - I like doing oil and vinegar on the turkey sub. The rolls are really good too, and their hot subs are tasty. Try the chicken cheesesteak with sautéed onions and peppers! They have a nice little seating area or you can do take out.

This one located on Butler Rd. holds true to the others and serves great subs for a decent price. I took the kids here and we ordered four combos. As always I went with a #19 Super Special on wheat bread and I was not disappointed. The sub was prepared correctly and "All the Way" just as it should be. Add a pickle and a pepperoncini on the side of your sub and you're all set. The restaurant was clean and the food was quick, we were able to get our food and finish it in less than thirty minutes. If you want a sub and you don't want the generic nonsense that is Subway, you should absolutely give Sub Station a try.

The ambiance is definitely low key and pretty stark, it's clear that this is a sandwich shop and…read morethat's it. This is not a "dining experience". But the sandwich was good. Initially, I was skeptical when one folded layer of ham and one layer of capicolla made up all the meat, then a pile of shredded lettuce, two slices of tomato and some onion, spices, oil, vinegar and red pepper made up the sandwich. I got it to go, which I think Ed helped the sandwich to come together. The bread was very good. Since the shop was very slow at noon on a Saturday, and frankly the three employees looked bored out of their minds, I was afraid the bread would be old and stale. But it was pretty good. I really had the overall impression that everyone working here was just going through the motions and wanted to be a million other places. My order was taken by a young lady, the meat was cut by an older gentleman, as if he didn't trust anyone else with that task, and the assembly was completed by a young man. As soon as the cashier completed my transaction, she hopped back up on the back counter, waiting for another customer. As soon as the older gentleman cut the meat, he went to stare out of the to go window and suck on some ice from a cup. And the young assembly man talked the whole time to either the older man or the girl about who was in a truck in the parking lot. Every now and then he would ask me if I wanted something like red peppers or did I want the pickle or was it "to-go." It was very, very laid back. You are just here for the sandwich and they are just here to make it and get you in your way, no frills. It was okay, but very different from many of the other, similar shops. They did all have Sub Station II shirts, but it really made me think about how, let's say, Jersey Mike's workers all have on aprons and a cap, same with Subway or Firehouse. Just interesting. The place is clean, they wear gloves as they should. It's just something you don't think about until it's not there. Sure, I'll go back. $7 for a regular. But probably not driving here as a destination.

I tried a double cheeseburger. It wasn't that great. It was so mediocre that I forgot about this chain. After my wife's shopping trip with my daughter concluded late this afternoon, they ate at this Whataburger and brought one home for me. The bun and patty were about the size of a BK Whopper- minus the sesame seed bun and the flame broiled taste. The first two words that came to mind were bland and common. I'm very disappointed. When this burger chain announced (several years ago) that they were coming here I was thrilled! Now it's just another place to eat a three star burger.

I placed a to-go order and was told it would be ready in 15 minutes. When I arrived, the restaurant was chaotic. It seemed like almost everyone inside was either waiting on their food, waiting for an order to be corrected, or trying to figure out what was going on. The employees appeared overwhelmed and unsure of what they were doing. After waiting 40 minutes, I finally went to the counter to ask how much longer my order would be. That's when I saw it sitting in the back under the heat lamp the entire time. No one bothered to call my name or let me know it was ready. To make matters worse, when I got home, my order wasn't even correct. I understand that restaurants have busy nights, but paying nearly $30 for poor service, a long wait, and an incorrect order is unacceptable. As someone who has supported this restaurant since the beginning, it's disappointing to see how much the quality and service have declined. Unfortunately, this was my last visit.
