I'm really surprised there aren't more reviews of the Arepas! Obviously their burgers look great, but I was in the mood for something different so I chose to come here and try the beef Arepa. Wow! Delicious! I also ordered the sweet plantains, which are phenomenal! I could certainly understand why people would try the burgers because they look fantastic. The place wasn't packed, but it was fairly busy for the middle of the afternoon which tells me that this place probably does a really good business. Juan Pablo and Julietta were really helpful and friendly. They definitely made the customers feel welcome. Although it is a quick serve restaurant, the ambience is really cool. It does not feel like fast food nor does it taste like that. If you are looking for something that is just a little bit different this might be your place. I have visited this restaurant before and enjoyed the burgers. Today I visited with my son. The first thing you notice opening the door is the "A" score proudly displayed. Menu has been updated and put in a nice leather look binder. Lots of choices including a veggie burger. When we enter the server hands you the menus and said once you know what you would like order at the counter. Service was excellent. It was early evening and busy with people ordering/ picking up take out. Our burgers arrived very hot and fresh. The buns they use are firm but soft and stay together through every bite. Fries were hot and crisp! You order your burger then fries come as a side option for $2.99 Delicious fresh food all round. Will definitely be back again. I went there for the first time, the burger was good along with the onion rings I ordered were good just too crispy. I went back for the second time ordered the same burger with onion rings, I asked for no bacon or condiments on the burger only the cheese. After the many reviews on a couple Facebook pages I follow, we finally stopped in. This is not your typical "have a waitress restaurant." The restaurant is located in a quiet strip away from the mumbo jumbo of Simpsonville. As you walk in, there is plenty of seating around. We took a menu from the front and had a seat to review it. They have quite a few different options of burgers. The menus are also very detailed. Our choices this time was the Colombian and El Rancho with bacon cheese fries. If you're familiar with Juniors in Orlando, FL, this definitely gives the same flavors. You're thinking, a Colombian burger in a western themed restaurant?! Went here for a quick business lunch. Searched for the "best burger in Greenville" and this was one of the finds. Was there on a Monday. Empty when we arrived. That is usually not a good sign. :-) I was surprised to find that is more like a Mexican restaurant than a hamburger joint. It was a surreal experience - a burger joint that is really a Mexican restaurant, that was quiet with country music playing the background. A collision of opposing forces if you will. I got the Grand Sheriff. Excellent price for the size of the meal. 2 patties, chicken breast, cheese and bacon. I was only able to eat half. It was average at best. I got a side of fries. The fries appeared to be the kind bought in bulk and I think had a light coating on them. Did not care for them. Their ketchup on the tables is not Heinz. Sheriffs Burger is a small and unassuming place in a strip center on main st in Simpsonville. There is a Latin vibe in the menu, decor and ambiance. The menu is, as the name implies, focused on burgers. The burgers are handmade and generous in proportion. We had the Del Rancho. That's a bit less adventurous! The burger comes with a choice of plain or sweet potato fries. It was great. Sheriffs also has some unique hotdogs, chicken, fries done several ways and a kids menu. It was a cute little restaurant with a whole lotta heart and flavor. The kids love the kids meals because it came with a kinder joy. We tried the patacones with beef. Located in a strip mall in Simpsonville in the former "Two Guys Pizza" spot, The Sheriff Burger is a small, pleasant family owned burger joint. I think the burgers are more like a smashburger style than a patty. The restaurant is owned and operated by a couple from Columbia, South America and as such there is a bit of Latin flavor mixed in with the Texas theme. This shows up in their homemade pineapple sauce or the Viejo Oeste Burger, which has fried plantain on it. Being my first visit, and hearing the hype, I wanted to just go with the plain old cheese burger and that is the Del Rancho Burger - a beef patty topped with cheddar cheese, applewood smoke bacon, with lettuce, tomatoes and onions. It is served with a side of their garlic aioli sauce and the pineapple sweet sauce. With fries, matchstick. Both were very good. Order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. My wife had the Mexican burger and took one bite and said, "This is so good! I'm fine coming here over Red Robin any day." I had the Viejo Oeste and it had excellent flavor and juiciness. The plantains gave it a nice sweetness without stealing the show. The pineapple sauce mixed with the garlic sauce was really good too.
