Visited Bohemian for the first time and really enjoyed the relaxed, eclectic vibe inside. We were seated promptly with a nice view of several football games on the TVs. Our server was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable--she offered helpful suggestions from the varied menu. We'd heard good things about the burgers and decided to try them, ordering ours cooked medium. The server mentioned that unless specified, burgers are typically served medium well. The wait for our food was a bit long, and it seemed other tables were experiencing the same. Bohemian seems like a better spot to visit when you're not in a rush. When the burgers arrived, both were cooked well done instead of medium. Unfortunately, our server didn't check back until we were nearly finished eating. I showed her the overcooked burger, and she offered to have another one made, but by then we'd already eaten. The flavor was good, but it definitely would've been better at the requested temperature. Lesson learned--check your burger doneness before your server leaves the table, especially when they're priced around $16-$18 and more. On the bright side, the fries were excellent! Overall, despite the hiccup, I'll be back. Bohemian is worth giving another try. read more

I had the straight up double patty smash burger with fries. A classic. Be sure not to add any salt before tasting this, as it is plenty seasoned. No complaints whatsoever on this as it was half-off burgers Wednesday for lunch. It is half-off burgers every Wednesday. Which knocks this down from $16 to $8 and makes it get an extra star for the value. Delicious for the every now and then burger, plus, it is late December, diets can wait until January - right? Fries are hot, crispy outside and fluffy inside and the portion is more than enough. This is primarily a sports bar ambiance with both high tops and booths/tables. Plenty of TV coverage. Great for lunch. Great for casual dining. Get there early on Wednesday lunches though, the half-off promotion brings a crowd. read more

I would give it a five except for two things... the signature corporate drink peach champagne was terrible like straight breakfast nectar and the special sauce was spilled and the bottom of my Cubano Pulled Pork sandwich got soggy and just was distasteful and the fork was bent which bothered me; however the service was absolutely phenomenal, the other bar drinks: Blue Butterfly Key lime and Habanero Margarita and Expresso were all great. The whipped feta appetizer with pita was delicious. You can order that and get the Brussel sprouts as a side instead of the Brussel sprouts as an appetizer. The Bohemian Bull in Mauldin used to be one of our favorite places to go. The burgers were juicy, the service was great, and the desserts were fantastic. Unfortunately, our recent experiences have been very different. The service is now subpar, and the food has been dry and overly salted. Let me just tell you that I order a nacho chip appetizer , blew me away . For my main course I ordered two entrees and split them with my wife and daughter who had their own entrees to themselves. We wanted to try a little of everything so I can give you an honest review. The food was hot , on time the service was top notched even for a busy night . We love sitting out in the patio area if the weather allows. The outdoor bar keeps the place lively, especially if there is a football game playing. You can't go wrong with the appetizers - the calamari, bang bang shrimp, Brussels sprouts & nachos with pulled pork are our favorites. We rarely make it to the entrees - though the hamburger selection looks really good. Yesterday we ordered the fish & chips, subbing out the fries for the onion rings. This place always gets comments on local foodie sites, and I finally had a reason to be close by and hungry. The Bull did not disappoint! Service was amazing! First impression (outside appearance) great! Walk in front door- horrible...dead plants, dirty floors and cold. Waitress sits us, she appears to have a non approachable, unwelcoming attitude...ugh! Customer Service is so important for me! Ready to place order... menu has Salmon ( salad choice) waitress state's they've not sold salmon for 6 months (so why is it a choice of meat for salad on menu?) Then my sister orders a strawberry Salad...guess what NO STRAWBERRIES. I order a bacon cheeseburger and it was actually good! My fries were cold, but I did not need to eat them anyway! Paying bill...no discount for NO STRAWBERRIES, but my sister was given a "free burger" rain check after she complained of no discount for not having strawberries on her strawberry salad. My anticipation for trying this place was a waste of time. I will never go back...unless they want me to come save those dead plants! read more

First time here was Saturday, April 1, 2023, 2 pm. The first thing I want to say about this place is, don't go here thinking you're going to have a quiet , intimate time. You're not. The place has very high ceilings, lots of flat screen TV's on the wall and music playing. It's loud. My wife and I arrived there around 2 pm while we were out running errands. It was pretty packed for 2pm on Saturday but our wait time was only 7 minutes. We were seated and our server Madeline (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) came over, introduced herself and asked if we have ever been there before. We said no and she explained that everything is made from scratch. We ordered the Mac & cheese bites appetizer and I got the brown ale. While I'm an imperial stout connoisseur, this was a really good, light ale. The Mac and cheese bites came out and they were awesome! Plus the mayo dip with it pushed it over the top. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger with pepper jack cheese and my wife got the black bean burger, both with fries. Both were home runs. Hot, juicy and just plain delicious!! The inside is cozy and relaxed. The tables are far enough apart for comfortable conversation without hearing your neighbors talking. Patio area had fans and was packed. Service was great and fast. Their cocktail menu is varied with fresh options. I got the honey basil suckle which was balanced and not strong. The YeHaw Brewery's beer Cerveza was on tap and really good, recommend by our server. Starters were the truffle fries and brussel spouts. The feta whip on the Brussels was TASTY and helped with the bitterness of the veggie. They were crispy and charred perfectly! My burger was the That's My Jam with a fried green tomato, pimento cheese and bacon jam! Bacon jam was sweet and savory balancing with the fried tomato tartness. The pimento cheese was eh.... Not much for flavor and a lot of mayo. Also there was a lot of it on the burger. Southern staples are my nit pick. Fried Mac and cheese bites were tasty and hot. Fish and chips were good. Fish was flaky and with two large filets it was a good portion. Steak frites were great with fresh chimichuri really accenting the flavor of the well cooked sirloin. A diverse menu selection with vegetarian options. A large beer/bourbon variety with a non-alcoholic beer available. I ordered a Caesar wrap, thankfully I looked down before I bit in to the wrap as it was stuffed with meat. The bartender remedied the situation and was very apologetic, which is appreciated. This is a new location with a new staff. I understand there will be speed bumps. If you do not understand this, you have not worked in the restaurant industry before. Party of 2, Saturday around 3pm. I am very happy that a spot like this is in Mauldin, it supplies you with a great environment, food and staff. Outside of waiting 10 minutes for a server to ask if we had been helped, I really liked this place. Order of 2 burgers , one with sweet potatoes and another with veggies of the day. The only con I have to say is the veggies were broccoli and carrots and the broccoli was burnt, should have never gone out, the carrots were great though! Not sure if I got the bottom of the pot/pan but I would not get those again. I wish there were more mocktail options and sides but all in all I would recommend this place. Had a great experience here. It started with being seated outside on their nice patio, with a great breeze keeping us comfortable. Our server, Glenn, was on his game and brought samples of the frozen drinks we were considering (FYI-the banana pudding slush is a boozy dessert drink and delicious!) We went with the pink froze'- less rich and complemented our burgers perfectly. My daughter tried the Truffle burger with truffle fries, and I had the Bacon Cheeseburger with sweet potato fries, both of which were perfectly prepared and SO good. We visited from out of town and had a great experience overall! We were greeted with a smile by the absolute sweetest hostess--what a wonderful first impression. For dinner, we had the pleasure of being served by Nikki, who was fantastic. She gave great recommendations for appetizers and burgers (she was spot on!) and was so attentive throughout our meal. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the bartender seemed to lack confidence and skill behind--perhaps he's new and still learning.
