We love watching channel 9 news for the morning shows/news The meteorologist, Morgan Kolmirer, and she told the viewers about serect menu items. We stopped by to see if we could get the roast beef platters served with mashed potatoes and vegetables, the workers knew exactly what we asked for and served us some very good meals. The beef was served over sourdough bread and it was just delicious and perfect for dinner. We were so full we had no room for desserts. Just go into the store and ask for the roast beef platter. You will not be disappointed, believe me as I know about eating.

Culver has always been a clean and welcoming spot, and the staff always friendly. Overall, it's a good location, but I feel like the food isn't quite the same anymore. The burgers seem to be getting smaller while the prices keep going up. I received more bread than meat and it being a double was very unpleased. On the bright side, the shrimp is still really good! Not bad, but it's starting to lose a bit of the value it used to have. Disappointed.

This Culver's in Lyons is located on Ogden where it makes a weird bend, just east of 1st Ave

PLAYING KETCHUP A shocking lack of freely available burger condiments hurts this otherwise decent Culver's. On the heels of a successful appointment at the dermatologist, we drove past this fast food spot in Lyons and decided to stop in for a quick bite on 12/27/19. It's just east of 1st Ave where Ogden makes a weird bend. As with all Culver's, the outside is marked by signature blue awnings and brickwork. Their 'snack packs' are a pretty good deal and start at $6. I always get the bacon deluxe single that comes with cheese, lettuce, tomato, red onion and typically opt for mashed potatoes w/gravy in lieu of crinkle cut french fries (a 20¢ upcharge). Cheese curds ($4) are tasty but sorely need some kind of dipping sauce like ranch. That brings me to the only major sticking point I have with this location: their woeful condiment selection. They've got no mayo, no mustard, just ketchup. Just ketchup?!?! ¿POR QUE? I thought we were living in the 21st century, not some post-apocalyptic world where condiments are valued like gold. * TL;DR * Maybe I'm just spoiled by the excellent Culver's in Franklin Park (who have an adequately stocked condiment area, I might add) but I found this one to be lacking. It's likely that they've got packets of mayo & mustard behind the counter under lock and key, but I'm not going to bother asking if there's a line of customers. Nevertheless, I'd gladly take Culver's on a bad day than Burger King on a good day or McDonald's on a great day.

My husband is obsessed with culvers, hence, we eat there a lot. According to my husband their burgers have a wonderful taste, Hence, we eat there a lot. I have tried a couple different things on their menu and everything that I've tried is absolutely delicious. I am partial to their chicken. The chicken is moist and quite good. Culvers is known for their ice cream. Each time I go I get a concrete and I must say every single time it's excellent. Culvers is fast food restaurant but I can honestly say that their menu is a bit more upscale than a fast food restaurant. My husband and I always get our food to go and I have to say that I don't know how they package it - but by the time I get home my food is still warm. All in all Culver's never fails to disappoint.

Always love my ice cream from Culver's, such a treat! The flavor of the day is my favorite part, always a little roulette with that but I strive to get it each time! I wish more locations would carry marinara sauce for their curds though!

    Where are my delicious curds?

So I usually enjoy coming here for their custard...give me a chocolate concrete mixer loaded with Heath and Snickers and I'm a fan for life! However, my last visit just had me craving cheese curds. In the 13th hour of a 19 hour workday I headed over for my curds and veggie burger. I also ordered their grilled cheese kids meal, because why not? I hadn't eaten all day and needed fuel. The employees were great, both sweet and kind. The food was a different story. Why I pay $4.79 for a veggie burger with cheese I'll never know. The only good thing about it is the red onions and pickles. It tastes freezer burnt and bland. My cheese curds craving was left sorely disappointed. The curds were old, hard, and the bag wasn't even filed. I would have most certainly requested new curds if not in such a hurry. The grilled cheese kids meal was the only dim star of the meal. The buttery sourdough bread was the perfect complement to the cheese. The fries were hard. I am an adult, so naturally I gravitate towards adult meals, hence my veg burger and curds. If I am paying about $9 for those shouldn't they have better quality and taste?

Cheese curds for $3.67 (calculations with tax)

The best cheeseburger I've ever had, always clean, and the most courteous service of any fast food restaurant.

It's amazing they are still here, I remember when they first opened maybe 20yrs ago. Wow. I love how it's like walking into a history lesson. Like a USA historical site location. Do people pay attention to their surroundings and treasure hunts? Very unique. Very interesting. I love how modern it is and easy to navigate. They really are clean and organized for such a busy place. They have been in this community for a long time. And are still doing so well here. That's awesome! I used a new self serve kiosk. I find those are very helpful and no communication is needed at all. If you can see pictures, you can pick your food. Kids can navigate it. Good way to get them to "self help" and guide them to make good decisions. They call a number. I pick up my food. Clean dining room. Picnic traditional table clothes. Also the old Pizza Hut brand use to use those too and it was very catchy then. My chargrilled burger was amazing. It's so fresh, juicy, and perfect blends of goodness in a fresh sesame bun. The cheese sauce on the side for the Krinkle Fries. Yum. They do have Coke Zero products. They also have a famous chocolate cake & cake shake. So good. I had plenty left for another meal later. They also have a large catering business attached. That was super organized also. There was a bar but they were not open.

Mac n cheese was (I think) the best I've had from a restaurant in a while. I love the type of fries that they pair with the burgers, they were fresh & not too salty. Our burgers were also very good. Apparently they have a new burger/dessert of the week each week so those items do change. They looked like they'd have good drinks too, I'd definitely come back to try. It can be a bummer that it's not a place where you can eat, drink, then hangout a bit so don't expect to be allowed to sit for too long. Service was also very nice

These things are next level. The shop also has a very cool old school ice cream shop vibe. But honestly, what made the experience was the two people working. A young lady and a young man who were both so attentive, patient, and genuinely helpful. They let us try a few flavors before we ordered, walked us through everything, and never made us feel rushed. That kind of customer service is rare anywhere, let alone at an ice cream shop. If you're in the area and haven't been here yet, you're missing out. We'll definitely be back. Highly recommend.

This is a cute little downtown area, and unfortunately, it's barren on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Which worked well for us as we showed up and no one was there. Just us, which gave us plenty of time to sample the various flavors, and chat with the person working in this cute little ice cream shop. They can make all these cute shakes and sundaes with all kinds of toppings, but seeing as we aren't young kids, there's no way we could eat confections such as what I listed above. Instead, we got to try their various flavors. Thinking back, I believe I got a watermelon ice cream. I could be wrong. However, I do remember how juicy, fruity, and sweet the ice cream was. Not sweet like overly sweetened lemonade that puckers one's lips, but like the sweet sensation of a perfectly ripe watermelon, bursting with succulent. flavor. It was like that. And man was it good! If I lived in Riverside or close by, I would be there all the time. So thankfully, we were out for a drive and wanted some ice cream and found this cute little shop. They have a few small tables inside, but what makes this a town square right out of the 1950s are the cute little wireframe tables and chairs they had outside along the sidewalk so you can sit and enjoy your cone, and people watch. And we did just that. If I'm nearby again someday, I'll definitely pop in and grab a delicious cone. There flavor options were plentiful, whimsical, and flavorful. However, for the time being, I'll just post this review and hope others pop in to enjoy the cones and flavors they're providing.
