And that's probably due to the fact that it isn't really fast food. They make your food fresh to order. (Do we have a category for this type of place, yet? Fresh and fast food?) So, Culver's and McDonald's don't really belong in the same category, in my opinion. Butter burgers are made fresh to order, and I really enjoy their cod sandwich. The cheese curds are addictive and the root beer is top notch. I love their zero calorie diet root beer. Delicious! The staff is always very kind and helpful. Really, it seems like a great company. I wouldn't mind my son working there, and that's a huge compliment from me. On the other hand, Culver's just doesn't do it for me. There's no "it" factor. For the type of place it is, I would compare Culver's to Steak n Shake back in the day (when it was also 4 stars vs the 2 stars it is today). Back then, Steak n Shake was happenin'! It was the place to be so many times! Going late at night to get a fresh steak burger and a malt shake hanging with friends. LFG! That's want I want from Culver's... old school Steak n Shake for guys in their 40's. Alas, it may never be. I never get excited about Culver's. I know people who do. But for me, it's just an option that's better than other options. I give 4 stars, though, because that's 100% on me. The place really does all they can to make sure you have a great evening. It's just hard to drop $50-$65 to feed your family fast food. Really NICE fast food. But fast food, nonetheless. I hope you fall in love with Culver's. I really do. I hope in 20 years, you have the same nostalgia I have for the Steak n Shake that was from a whole 'nother, special world called the 90's. For now, I guess I'll just take out a small loan and go to Culver's for the kids. But I will say that diet root beer is the bomb!

It results in melted ice cream and cold food. They also advertise on their home pages speciality burgers but their location doesn't carry them. All around just a non great Culver's.

It is usually my kids' go-to option when they want a burger, even more than that other chain from Wisconsin. This Freddy's location, though, was a little rough around the edges. The tables were dirty and askew, it took almost 25 minutes to receive our food, and the restaurant was smoky from poor ventilation, among other things. Maybe it was just my visit today. I'm hoping it was just an off day. I want to give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt. And it looked like they were short staffed, which didn't help at all. We got our food and the order was correct and it tasted great, though, so that was a bonus. I got the chili cheese fries, which kinda hit the spot, but Freddy's has shoestring fries, and I think chili cheese fries need those big, thick fries. We were going to get frozen custard sundaes after our meal, but I could tell that they were still struggling to fulfill the drive-thru and online orders, so I didn't step up to the counter to order again. I didn't want to wait another half hour! I still love Freddy's, though. It's hard not to love this chain because the food is so good. So I will probably come back and hope that my next visit is better.

There were several order kiosks available. Food was as expected, well executed, tasty and hot. Cons: Pricing while probably in line with this location (Fashion Mall) , was high for what was received. No combos available that I could see. It was all individual item ordering and no price break for a combo. Lots of choices in this price range that would likely be more memorable. If not for price to value aspect this review would have been 5 stars.

There are a few tvs and lots of seating inside. Cons: I was going to order regular fries but saw they had a promotional on these Parmesan Garlic Fries and opted for that instead. There was no price on display.......there was my mistake.....it cost me $5.98 for some seasoned fries!! They were good but not $5.98 good. This was my fault but I have learned my lesson.

They weren't busy so not sure why tables weren't bussed. In general, the place could use a good cleaning. There is plenty of parking and the drive through was busy. My only complaint is that there were several tables that weren't clean, so we had to walk around to find a clean table. Since it wasn't busy one would assume that there was time to clean the tables. It was also really really cold, so be sure to bring a jacket! Pricing is okay. I appreciate her sharing the setup with me because I'm not a fan of raw onion on my burger, so I 86'd it. My burger was freshly prepared and it was hot and juicy. The only gripe I have is that it wasn't seasoned. If I'd had a lil salt n pepper, we'd be cookin' with gas. Lost a star for lack of seasoning. Otherwise, it was fantastic. The toppings were fresh and crispy and bright in color. I would not pay $10 for it, but it was certainly a great lunch at $5!

A nice newer Culver's location…read more A double drive thru, with well-spaced parking for drive thru orders. There are also several spaces for Curdside pickup. The employee who took our drive thru order was extremely friendly, and the same for the employee who brought our food out. We all ordered cod sandwich baskets. Some ordered chili as a side, I ordered cheese curds. All our food was excellent. Happy to have another Culver's location in the area.

Local dignitaries were on hand to cut the ribbon and newly trained staff hustled to get those butter burgers out to those in the line that couldn't wait to feast and get free coupons. The restaurant is the signature blue and tan building with a small patio out front where you can bring your pup. There are two drive thru lines and a lot of parking including three ADA spaces by the front door. Nice fresh landscaping surrounds the lot. Music (soft rock) plays outside and in. "Welcome to fresh!" It took awhile to work our way through the line. I had the Cod sandwich with a fantastic light batter. The burger is the standard butter burger which is a decent size patty that is grilled in Wisconsin butter. The crinkle cut fries are good. The custard, well, was delicious - today's flavor was turtle. The new staff was a mix of friendly and excited. Reid was super friendly and helpful. I'll look forward to bringing my granddaughters over for frozen custard.
