Options include broccoli, cole slaw, side salad, mashed potatoes, macaroni and cheese, onion rings, pretzel bites., and of course fries The Kid's Meals also come with a scoop of custard with one topping. These Kid's Meals are much more substantial than the Kid's Meals at other fast food restaurants that are supposed to make kids happy. I visit this location about once a month to grab dinner or ice cream. The dining room is super clean for a casual dining joint and I have to compliment how friendly the staff are. The managers do a great job, and if something is wrong they want to make it right. The food is fresh and tastes great. Their prices are fairly high, but it feels a bit higher quality for the burgers. The parking lot can be a bit of a traffic jam. The drive thru line backs up and blocks one of the exits and can block the parking lot closest to the building for dine in. read more

The best part? They have vinegar and there is nothing better than pairing your fries with vinegar. The staff was attentive and hard at work keeping the space clean. I had to come back and update my review after trying their new "Curdside" service. I won't ever do the traditional drive-thru again. It's amazing!! Ordering online is easy (https://orderonline.culvers.com/menu/fishers-in), and you can request your food ASAP or schedule a later time. Once you arrive, pull into one of the clearly-marked Curdside parking spots on the side of the building near the door, click "I'm here" from your order confirmation email, and someone will be out with your food within minutes. It would be 100% perfect if you could add on your free kids' meal custard online instead of having to buy a separate dish. Oh, and they really need to bring back the lemon ice!!! Let me start by saying I used to love this Culver's and would have given it 5 stars easily for many years. I would drive across town to this one specifically. The customer service was great, food was extra fresh, everything was made perfectly, etc. Once I moved closer, I was happy to visit more. Over the last 6 months and many attempts to still love this Culver's, I am done. The customer service is horrible, the women at the window are downright rude. A scoop of the day is barely two bites and rarely has the ingredients listed on the website. My malt is never a malt and almost always the wrong flavor, no apology when I ask for it to be remade. I once brought my dog and a young man I've never seen before offered him a cup of whipped cream with a dog bone. Okay, you may keep me around with this gesture, especially when it was free. My dog and I have come back since and the women previously mentioned refused to give my dog anything. I explained what I got before and was told I'd have to pay for it. I agreed and then was told it's no where on the menu to ring up. They then began laughing and speaking in Spanish while looking at me. Beyond uncomfortable. What really finalized never returning was coming for a Reuben and finding several (I counted 5 before stopping) black hairs woven in my meat. I called and despite asking for a manager, was not given one. I was told to come get a new sandwich. Not only was that not possible, but gross, no thanks. I was told I could be sent a coupon, no offer for a refund. I was finally transferred to a man and explained my experience calmly. Sad day for me in the world of fast food. Culver's, for years always consistent no matter where you went it would be good. Not today at this 96th st location. At 2:15 well after lunch/church crowd. Ordered at drive-thru after paying they then sent me to wait along with 8-10 others waiting. My double cheese burger was at room temp. So cool that the cheeses would not melt, even the piece touching the meat. My shake was runny, at best. I decided to drive back after being half way home. Cost me $10 for that crap, no way. Went inside gave and showed it to young "crew" leader. He replaced it with the "very same" cool sandwich that the cheese was not ever going to even get slightly soft. While waiting for a second "bad" sandwich I observed some amazingly horrible, poor operating practices that I have even seen. Lots of employees moving slow. No hurries, no worries, no attention to their customers or their job, with no sense of any motivation. People get a new job if this one is as horrible as you lead me to believe. I noticed why my milkshake was "melted" custard. The tops of the custard did not even have the cover trays on them. As the employee dipped into the custard with an ice-cream scoop it came out dripping from the spoon because the mixture was so soft. The cheese curds had the most microscopic speck of cheese wrapped in doughy, heavy, stodgy coating. The buns are heavy and tasteless, you can find fish in the freezer section of any discount grocery that is five times better, and the burgers have a lingering hint of spoilage. I don't get it. From placing our order to the payment window to the associate delivering our order to our car, the customer service has been spot on and very friendly; they are adhering to safety procedures as well. The bell that you can ring as you come in or out the door (aimed at kids) is fun and the girl was really nice so it gets 2 stars rather than 1, but this is truly one of the most overrated chains. When I talk to people about Wisconsin ButterBurgers they talk to me about Culvers. It's like me telling you about the juiciest most amazing $15 Burger that is enough for three people and then you telling me about McDonalds. It really is the same. So, Culver's. Ok this location has a patient Queen, perhaps even a goddess, working here. I just saw this lovely lady with beautiful purple hair get verbally assaulted by someone's Nana who was completely out of control. First, Nana made this poor lady list the ingredient of at least 4 menu items and then reacted as though she was slapped each time she heard an ingredient not suited to her delicate palate. Finally the order is in, 10 minutes later, and the lady in front of me and I are losing it. Nana then proceeds to complain about the hand sanitizer in the Purell bottle NOT being Purell. What sets them apart from everyone else is the variety in the menu & how much is made in store which makes it fresh. Waffle cones made in store custards made throughout day. Lemon ice made in store and they use real fruit in their desserts. Every kids meal gets free kis custard with a topping. They got Mott's apple juice & apple sauce as an option for a side. When a restaurant is efficient, it really makes me happy -- especially when it is a fast-food restaurant. Culver's has an interesting (and efficient) way of doing their drive-thru: you order, pay, and then pull forward and wait until someone brings you your sack of food. I was told they do this because they make the burgers after you order, which is another plus: you're getting a freshly made burger! I almost exclusively order the mushroom Swiss burger, which has nothing on it except meat, mushrooms and Swiss cheese. It's always juicy. It's always good. This particular restaurant is fast, and the people who work here are friendly.
