I have been to this ice cream parlor multiple times while out in Broad Ripple. The store is cute inside and on the outside also. I love how they have ice cream offered for the dogs. Also on the outside they have a water pan out so if you are walking your dog and they would like a drink it's there. The employees have always been great and will allow samples before making my choice on the ice cream I would like. I love that they have Superman ice cream because you definitely can't go wrong with this flavor. Superman has really stuck with me since my childhood lol. The prices of the items in the parlor are your normal typical prices. Also I love how this business also gives back to the community. If you are in the Broad Ripple area check them out. read more

Super convenient spot right off the Monon. I love that they have the walk-up window making it even more convenient. Our doggo rates this place 5/5 as well Located on the Monon trail, Brics is a perfect sweet little treat to start or end an outdoor adventure. The staff has always been nice as well. I also like that they offer dishes for the ice cream, if you plan on staying for a bit, or they have compostable ones to go. Their coffee ice cream(whistlestop) and the mint ice cream(grasshopper) are my absolute favorites. We stopped here after lunch and were served by a kind gentleman who was also accompanied by what appeared to be his granddaughter. It was a quiet snowy day and it was very clean in there. It was warm and cozy and not busy at all due to weather. Our group dined in and the ice cream was served in glass ice cream bowls, an experince you dont get a lot of places. Our group chose the vegan ice cream. We are not vegan but enjoy it now and again. Its oat milk based. It was good, not as good as the experience of regular icecream, but not bad for the alternative. BRICS is one of the best ice cream shops around. It's always busy, but the employees work fast to work through their lines, whether it be inside or the order window outside. It's always clean, and has plenty of seating options both inside and on the patio- or you can take your ice cream to go and take a walk on the Monon! I've never had a flavor I didnt enjoy. Fun ice cream shop that we happened to walk in to on the Monon Trail. We happened to go on the same day as their 15th anniversary and the same day as the Full Mo race (running the full Monon Trail). The ice cream was free for everyone all day to celebrate their anniversary and they had face paintings along with other free family activities. Really enjoyed the ice cream and dogs are allowed on the porch. That day the owner was there and gladly watched peoples dogs as they got their ice cream in store. Fun place! read more

I love that Brics posts signs advertising local events, and the patio with picnic tables is a great place for larger groups to enjoy desserts together. The outdoor ordering window and train-themed decorations are really charming and make Brics feel more special than just any regular ice cream shop. I tried the cookie butter ice cream, which was advertised as a customer and staff favorite. It had such a rich flavor, and I really enjoyed the Biscoff ripple. My sister had a birthday cake milkshake, and it took a while to make because it was hand-spun instead of just thrown in a blender. I was pleased with the efficiency of the staff, especially their use of the ticket system to call up customers. Even though we came at a very busy time, we hardly had to wait. Brics portions are HUGE! You'll spend a little less than $5 for their small cone, but it would be another shop's medium or large size for sure! You can enjoy your treats on the outdoor patio/deck or inside. If you eat inside, take advantage of their conversation starter cards at the tables! Props for pivoting so quickly! The staff here is always great and on (non COVID) days, they'll let you sample a flavor before deciding. My favorites are the chocolate peanut butter, grasshopper (mint ice cream with fudge), and the monon tracks (vanilla ice cream with fudge and mini peanut butter cups). They also offer several vegan flavors too - awesome! Inside, they have little conversation cards on the table to make it a fun environment. I also noticed that they have a cute little BRICS ice cream truck in the parking lot, so I'm sure you can hire them for a wedding or event. read more
