Good place to eat and frozen custard. 4 piece chicken tenders and crinkle fries. Chocolate custard with brownie pieces! Delicious!

Caramel Cashew Sundae (left) Turtle Sundae (switched to chocolate custard)

We have seen many of these on our travels through the mid west over the years and somehow never stopped. Why did we wait so long? This place is awesome! Love the custard and the big choice of toppings! Loved our Sundae's too!

    Mashed potatoes and broccoli

I've never ordered either of these before so I don't know if this portion size is normal but for the price, having the cup less than halfway full seems incorrect. I'll be sticking to the fries for sides from now on. Good service though.

Customer service that matches the quality of the food! 3 year old was thrilled to go in and sit down. Ordered our cones. Best chocolate around! The server brought our order. Offered to get a bunch of napkins. Then returned with a cup for the "just in case" of a 3 year old with ice cream. Then offered sprinkles for him too! Servers were all happy and very kind. Made return to sit down dining safe and pleasant.

The food was yummy. More attention needs in restrooms. Too many people behind the counter and not enough folks cleaning.

If you're looking for a dessert option, this is a great place. Highlights - lots of chocolate treats and fancy desserts. We tried the Oreo Raspberry Cake. It was super moist, decadent, and heavy. Great cake slice, we really enjoyed it. The annoying part was that I ordered bourbon balls and I instead got some sort of vanilla truffle. I'm not a local but I'm pretty sure I didn't get bourbon balls. Didn't taste anything like bourbon at all. I was very disappointed since that is what I initially came in for and we didn't realize the mistake until much further in the day. The cake slice saves the review from being any lower but paying $12 for something I didn't want is annoying and ruins the experience somewhat. That is why quality counts from beginning to end. I still recommend trying this place out but make sure you check what you order so that you get the right thing.

First, only a couple items in the case even had labels or prices, so I literally had to ask what an item was. The store associate seemed to get annoyed at telling me what the items in the case were but how do you expect me to know if you don't label your items? and i only even asked what 3-4 items were out of 15+ in the case. even though she told me what a couple of the items were, I have no idea how much they were. I asked the price on the viral fruit thing and she responded "they range from $10-$20". There were three choices of those and I guess it was too much trouble to say the price of each one I wanted to try one of the viral fruit moose things, but after the way the store associate acted I decided to pass. There were definitely some things that looked really good, but I'm not going to purchase if they're rolling their eyes at me and acting like I'm bothering them asking about the things they are selling. I'll give it another shot in the future. We'll see what happens Summary: 1. Make sure items in the case are labeled with a product name, short description, and price. 2. Train the people who represent your store what customer service is and how to really sell the product when someone's asking about it I didn't even get to try anything yet so this review is 100% based on customer service interaction and store display information. I know there has been dreams with this business in the past about low reviews - so I'm a real person and I've been elite on Yelp for 6 years. We were 3 adults and a toddler, thankfully we paid a reduced price to enter the activity area because only the toddler did anything & it was too cold / wet to do most of the activities. There's something for everyone here. My friend and I visited on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. We found a spot to sit and enjoy the atmosphere while sipping on apple cider mimosas & slushies. The slushie was my favorite for sure. They have several options for hard cider on tap as well as a variety of food options. We took a hay ride and attempted the corn maze. There's a store with so many different products for purchase. Apples, cider, donuts, jams/jellies, honey, spices, baking mixes, and so many more. I was surprised at all the things they offered. For family fun there's a play area with slides and other kid friendly activities. Admission and parking are free. You pay for any activities that you would like to participate in. We have been lucky enough to have tried it at the Crave Food Festival and at our city's Summer Concert Series. Super excited seeing the owners opened a physical location. We were thrilled to see their theme from their cute polka dotted ice cream trucks into their new place. Bright pink with polka dots all over the walls. Amazing twine globes used as pendulum lighting. Beth and Phillip have created a fun, bright place in Georgetown. Speaking of... all of their gelato is created at their farm in Scott County! My husband tried their Affogato. He's a coffee fan! It's a scoop of gelato in a cup of coffee. Yes, you may spy a Keriug on the counter. In the spirit of staying green, they grind coffee from Twin Engine Coffee & place it in a reusable k-cup pod. He loved the coffee! I tried the peanut butter. It was rich and creamy just like granny's peanut butter candy at Christmas. In the past, we have always had the Banana pudding gelato. I cannot write about Spotz without mentioning how much we like that flavor! If you love ice cream, please give gelato a try. Creamier, richer, and carries more flavor! (P.S. Phillip was the Crave Festival Angel who rescued me with a drink a few years ago when spicy Indian Food was making my throat close. We have often wondered if we'd ever find that man again!)

After leaving yet another distillery, the ladies in our group wanted to head to Georgetown for some shopping. But before the shopping could begin, we needed lunch. We had stopped at Fava's a few weeks earlier with another group of friends for breakfast, and it was excellent. With that great experience in mind, we decided to try Fava's again, this time for lunch. The décor is classic Old Town Kentucky--exactly the kind of place that brings back childhood memories of small-town restaurants. Charming, comfortable, and familiar. We seated ourselves and looked over the menu. I went with the chili cheese hot dog with fries. My wife and one of our friends chose the open-faced Reuben, and the last member of our group ordered the club sandwich. Every dish was excellent. The club sandwich was so large it required a to-go box. Before leaving, everyone except me ordered pie to go-- Fava's pies are legendary, at least to my wife and me. I skipped dessert this time and immediately regretted missing their ice cream options. We dropped the pies off in the car (it was cold enough outside to keep them safe), and then the ladies headed off to explore the shops of Georgetown. And I cannot leave out the wait staff, very attentive and friendly . This was my second visit to Fava's, and both times have been outstanding. I'm already looking forward to our next "shopping trip" to Georgetown so I can enjoy their food again--and this time, I won't miss out on the ice cream.
