Customer service is absolutely terrible. My daughter went with friends and was given the wrong menu item. When she took it back to get it replaced they refused. I went back to talk to them the next day and request a refund and the management was rude to me too. I worked at fast food restaurants for several years when I was younger and my dad owned franchises for over 30 years. This is the worst I have ever encountered. read more

It's a shame when two complaints that drag the overall average of the place down. Two different reviewers provided one star because they said they wouldn't provide 2 different types of flavors in the same bowl. I enjoyed butterscotch swirl and New York cheesecake - so yes, they did give me two flavors - in the small size to boot! My partner had the hot fudge caramel brownie sundae sundae - the brownie was warm on bottom - it was delicious. Service was friendly and the young lady waiting on us said she made a ton of ice cream today. It's clearly homemade. Lots of flavors to choose from (see my photo). They had a couple of yogurt options too. My only really complaint is that the ice cream was a little too sweet for me. One small cup was more than enough. read more

You know how you can have a memory that isn't real? Something you can remember existing or doing that actually doesn't exist or never happened. Like that genie movie with Shaq. Did that movie exist or not? Anyway. My point? I totally thought I wrote a review for this place already. I distinctly remember writing about my experience with their mint chocolate chip ice cream and hot dogs. Yet, Yelp told me today that I needed to write a review!? What!? So, I had imagined it this whole time. Hmm. Let's make this review a reality. It took me about two years to notice this place was here. I have no idea how or why since I love ice cream and hot dogs (yeah, I'm super healthy, obviously). The first time I came here, I was SO excited to get some mint chocolate chip ice cream!! Pregnancy cravings of ice cream were satisfied at Bruster's many times last year. Then! They have food! Hot dogs and fries! Where else can you get hot dogs at a drive-thru in Georgetown? Not really anywhere else.... What a huge plus for previously pregnant me: hot dogs AND ice cream in one spot! Amazing! Wonderful! Love! You can park, walk up to the window and order, to take it back to your car or a picnic table outside, or go through the drive-through. This isn't a sit-in restaurant. Not the fastest service ever (I've waited quite a bit at the drive-through) and not the best ice cream ever but pretty good and satisfies me when I need it. So many flavor options, too. Sometimes I just can't decide. They also have a frequent customer punch card, which is a great incentive for earning free treats. Bruster's is one of the few ice cream shops in the area. The ice cream is above average...not the best I've had but still tastes really good especially comparing it to the usual fast food joints. The NewYork Cheesecake ice cream or the chocolate peanut butter Buckeye milkshake are my go to choices. The service has always been great even at peak times. I've been eating Bruster's ice cream for around a decade now. There used to be a franchise 2 minutes from my house, but since it closed 5 or so years ago, my family and I drive ~45 minutes to this location from up north. Truth be told, I'm riding in the passenger seat on my way there right now to load up with a supply to last a while. I won't pretend it's cheap ice cream - it's not. It's worth the cost difference when you want something good though. Graeter's disappoints me by comparison, and charges the same or higher prices. Our family favorites on flavors are: -Birthday Cake / Cake Batter (depending on whether you want the icing chunks or not) -Orange Sherbert/Sherbet -White Raspberry Truffle / Chocolate Raspberry Truffle (depending on whether you want vanilla or chocolate base) If I had one request, it would be for the creation of an official Cherry Cordial flavor, which is my go-to when I don't have Bruster's. read more

The two girls working had zero customer service skills. We waited at the walk up window for some time to order, when we did we were not told the total, or said anything to at all. Another man behind us walked up and was waiting to order at the window for over 15 minutes. There were no cars in the drive thru during most of the time I'm speaking of. We have been to several brusters locations in different towns. We ordered 2 large cups of mint chip and chocolate . When we pulled up to the window the team member told us they were out of both . No mint chip no chocolate ....... well dang thats almost like Mcdonalds not having burgers lol . So we called an audible and replaced with 2 hot fudge sundaes. As the team member handed them to us i noticed they were 1/2 melted and liquidy on top........... but with kids chomping at the bit we took our melted sundaes and carried on. Also had to ask for napkins which is ridiculous at an ice cream place . Yes we all need napkins when we get ice cream . Probably wont return to this location. :/ read more

Well, I've been eating ice cream from the Brusters in Nicholasville for years & thought this would be the same. Boy was I wrong. Tried to order 2 scoops of different flavors in a cup, was told I could only get 2 scoops if they were the same flavor. Had to get 3(2+1). When I got the cup, IT ONLY HAD 1 scoop of each flavor requested???? Also ordered 2 waffle cones of Buckeye. My cone did not contain a single "buckeye", very disappointed! They were supposed to be 2 scoops in each, I guess they fell out the bottom of the cone or just evaporated into thin air! I also could not believe it when they cracked one of the cones, & instead of redoing it, they just put that cone down inside another one. Really??
