It's a shame when two complaints that drag the overall average of the place down. Two different reviewers provided one star because they said they wouldn't provide 2 different types of flavors in the same bowl. I enjoyed butterscotch swirl and New York cheesecake - so yes, they did give me two flavors - in the small size to boot! My partner had the hot fudge caramel brownie sundae sundae - the brownie was warm on bottom - it was delicious. Service was friendly and the young lady waiting on us said she made a ton of ice cream today. It's clearly homemade. Lots of flavors to choose from (see my photo). They had a couple of yogurt options too. My only really complaint is that the ice cream was a little too sweet for me. One small cup was more than enough.

Nice variety of flavors and options for ice cream. Also serves hot dogs and chicken fingers. Pretty quick on the drive through and the walk up window. Also offers a free pup cup when your dog is along

    Peach/cherry(?) ice cream.

You know how you can have a memory that isn't real? Something you can remember existing or doing that actually doesn't exist or never happened. Like that genie movie with Shaq. Did that movie exist or not? Anyway. My point? I totally thought I wrote a review for this place already. I distinctly remember writing about my experience with their mint chocolate chip ice cream and hot dogs. Yet, Yelp told me today that I needed to write a review!? What!? So, I had imagined it this whole time. Hmm. Let's make this review a reality. It took me about two years to notice this place was here. I have no idea how or why since I love ice cream and hot dogs (yeah, I'm super healthy, obviously). The first time I came here, I was SO excited to get some mint chocolate chip ice cream!! Pregnancy cravings of ice cream were satisfied at Bruster's many times last year. Then! They have food! Hot dogs and fries! Where else can you get hot dogs at a drive-thru in Georgetown? Not really anywhere else.... What a huge plus for previously pregnant me: hot dogs AND ice cream in one spot! Amazing! Wonderful! Love! You can park, walk up to the window and order, to take it back to your car or a picnic table outside, or go through the drive-through. This isn't a sit-in restaurant. Not the fastest service ever (I've waited quite a bit at the drive-through) and not the best ice cream ever but pretty good and satisfies me when I need it. So many flavor options, too. Sometimes I just can't decide. They also have a frequent customer punch card, which is a great incentive for earning free treats. I probably have several cards scattered about my wallet that I need to consolidate. Gotta get that free ice cream!

A lot of choices for sure. Ordered peppermint stick and it was absolutely delicious. Creamy and plenty of peppermint!

If you're looking for a dessert option, this is a great place. Highlights - lots of chocolate treats and fancy desserts. We tried the Oreo Raspberry Cake. It was super moist, decadent, and heavy. Great cake slice, we really enjoyed it. The annoying part was that I ordered bourbon balls and I instead got some sort of vanilla truffle. I'm not a local but I'm pretty sure I didn't get bourbon balls. Didn't taste anything like bourbon at all. I was very disappointed since that is what I initially came in for and we didn't realize the mistake until much further in the day. The cake slice saves the review from being any lower but paying $12 for something I didn't want is annoying and ruins the experience somewhat. That is why quality counts from beginning to end. I still recommend trying this place out but make sure you check what you order so that you get the right thing.

First, only a couple items in the case even had labels or prices, so I literally had to ask what an item was. The store associate seemed to get annoyed at telling me what the items in the case were but how do you expect me to know if you don't label your items? and i only even asked what 3-4 items were out of 15+ in the case. even though she told me what a couple of the items were, I have no idea how much they were. I asked the price on the viral fruit thing and she responded "they range from $10-$20". There were three choices of those and I guess it was too much trouble to say the price of each one I wanted to try one of the viral fruit moose things, but after the way the store associate acted I decided to pass. There were definitely some things that looked really good, but I'm not going to purchase if they're rolling their eyes at me and acting like I'm bothering them asking about the things they are selling. I'll give it another shot in the future. We'll see what happens Summary: 1. Make sure items in the case are labeled with a product name, short description, and price. 2. Train the people who represent your store what customer service is and how to really sell the product when someone's asking about it I didn't even get to try anything yet so this review is 100% based on customer service interaction and store display information. I know there has been dreams with this business in the past about low reviews - so I'm a real person and I've been elite on Yelp for 6 years. It isn't hard to find me if you want to for verification.

First, it's just so cute! As you approach, you can't help but notice the beautiful mural on the windows. Then you step inside of the most charming little bakery. There are tables for in-store dining and tasty treats everywhere. Cookies, pies, croissants, refrigerated salads and sweets, candied nuts and even Rice Krispie treats. These are just some of the items available. I've never been to a bakery with that many different offerings. Everything looked amazing and everyone in line lets us know that everything is delicious!!! Honestly I wanted a bit of everything, but I had to have some self control. In the end I walked away with muffins, bars, a Bundt cake, a cake pop and tiramisu (this was all shared with another person). Just like the other patrons said, I quickly learned that everything was in fact delicious! It was fresh and so, so good!!! The staff was very kind and I think that Rebecca herself came out and chatted with us briefly. This was my first visit, but definitely won't be my last. Absolutely worth the drive from Lexington.

We have been lucky enough to have tried it at the Crave Food Festival and at our city's Summer Concert Series. Super excited seeing the owners opened a physical location. We were thrilled to see their theme from their cute polka dotted ice cream trucks into their new place. Bright pink with polka dots all over the walls. Amazing twine globes used as pendulum lighting. Beth and Phillip have created a fun, bright place in Georgetown. Speaking of... all of their gelato is created at their farm in Scott County! My husband tried their Affogato. He's a coffee fan! It's a scoop of gelato in a cup of coffee. Yes, you may spy a Keriug on the counter. In the spirit of staying green, they grind coffee from Twin Engine Coffee & place it in a reusable k-cup pod. He loved the coffee! I tried the peanut butter. It was rich and creamy just like granny's peanut butter candy at Christmas. In the past, we have always had the Banana pudding gelato. I cannot write about Spotz without mentioning how much we like that flavor! If you love ice cream, please give gelato a try. Creamier, richer, and carries more flavor! (P.S. Phillip was the Crave Festival Angel who rescued me with a drink a few years ago when spicy Indian Food was making my throat close. We have often wondered if we'd ever find that man again!)

And it's definitely not like this in Italy or Greece! It was so NASTY I couldn't finish my food. Plus it was 18$ without a drink! The owner made my shawarma platter. She had a hard time figuring out what that was!?! I was confused on that because it's usually a staple at any Mediterranean restaurant. The chicken was maybe a table spoon full and tons of fat. The little bit of chicken was all held together with stringy fat. I've never seen chicken like this. And not to mention the VERY SMALL portions! The rice is Mexican rice. Definitely not the original rice you get. Changes the flavor. Not good!!!!! If you like Sahara, Nefertiti and Mr. kabob please don't come here!! The drive to Lexington to a local REAL Mediterranean restaurant IS WORTH IT!! You'll get 2 meals for the price of your one there and mouth watering flavored food!!!
