Cute little ice cream shop in the New Distillery District, but unfortunately, the experience was…read moredisappointing. We visited on a slow Monday night and were immediately let down when we found out they had run out of Biscoff pieces for their seasonal item. My spouse then ordered a scoop of ice cream and asked for a regular waffle cone, but was told the only option was a pre-made red waffle cone with a unique flavor. When he asked if they could make a regular one, they said no -- despite having multiple waffle cone makers and not closing for another two hours. The ice cream itself was just okay, but the customer service and unwillingness to accommodate such a simple request really took away from the experience. We left feeling disappointed and with a bit of a sour taste in our mouths.

What a hidden gem!…read more Not far from Main St downtown at all. Super chill patio with fresh produce growing and it's on a quiet block in a residential area. The gelato is phenomenal. The dairy being used is top shelf and local. The other ingredients are gourmet for sure. Amarena cherries from Italy and all. Like whoa. Fluffy whipped look with a dense and creamy texture. They only offer about 10-12 flavors, but that's a good thing. It's all small batch. I believe the limit in tasters is 1 or 2 which is totally understandable with a small operation to keep the line moving. You can't really make a bad choice regardless. Grab an Italian soda or water also and chill here for sure.

Too often the owners bend to the customers complaints with a "we'll do better" attitude but they are confident in their product here.. as they should be! Also, who cares if they have a 1 taste rule.. it helps them keep the line moving quickly. We would taste our 1 allotted flavor and then taste our friends as they were handed their order. It's really not as big of a deal as people make it out to be. This gelato is the real deal though! A true gem to Lexington and the neighborhood. they offer a wide variety of flavors that were frequently selling out and being replaced. I visited twice during my time in town and there was often a line out the door. Service was quick and friendly. There is a small seating area inside and plenty of seating outside. I love that they also include a couple of children's sized tables. I know I'll be back when I'm in town again!! The deconstructed blackberry Nutella and the banana pudding were delicious. Perfectly smooth and flavored!

The lady in front of me took 5 minutes to order because of all the choices. I got their most basic crepe with a side of strawberries. What came out was a dessert suited for royalty. I was tempted to text my entire address book to brag about what I was having for dessert. Both the presentation and the flavor was amazing. If I had to be hypercritical it could have been a bit warmer. But if it had, it might have qualified as a religious experience. It was truely the best desert i've had in a very long time!! I'm not really a cookie person but I stopped in a few times to try different cookies and to say that I've been there. The inside is small and cute. You walk up to one of the touch-screen self-serve registers and pick the cookies you want. Then you walk over to the pick-up counter and wait until they call your name. It's a short wait. They're making all the weekly cookies fresh behind the counters. Yep. Weekly cookies. The cookie flavors rotate each week. So if you loved a cookie one week, you're probably never getting it again. I understand the reason the company wants to do new flavors each week, but it's kind of a bummer if there IS one that you really love and would like to get again in the future. (For example: I actually did like the grinch-themed minty cookie over Christmas and would love more of them.) Secondly, these aren't really cookies but more like mini cakes! You almost need a fork to eat half of these!! I always order the mini sizes because the 'regular' ones just look too huge. They ARE delicious, but nothing mind-blowing. And kind of expensive. I don't really understand the hype. But, I suppose it is a nice treat occasionally.

We ate it with garden salsa sun chips. I wish they'd had a larger size of the dip!! So good. We went in for breakfast this past Friday AM morning around 9:00a. There were a handful of people in the bakery but we were able to walk right up to the counter and order what we wanted. So many coffee options! We opted for a cherry danish, lemon poppyseed muffin, sausage roll, cinnamon cold brew and a mocha cold brew. The danish and sausage roll were very yummy! The bakery itself was very cute with it's colorful paintings and decor all around. The only I guess downside doesn't even have to do with the bakery itself. But we were there in the morning to enjoy coffee and bakery items and there was a child screaming the entire time. (I say this and I have an 8 year old myself). I wish it had been a little bit quieter but that doesn't have to do with the bakery itself. Unfortunately, I can't speak to the muffin.....we brought it back home to Massachusetts....and our cats ate it LOL. But they left no crumbs so I'm assuming it tasted good!

First, it's just so cute! As you approach, you can't help but notice the beautiful mural on the windows. Then you step inside of the most charming little bakery. There are tables for in-store dining and tasty treats everywhere. Cookies, pies, croissants, refrigerated salads and sweets, candied nuts and even Rice Krispie treats. These are just some of the items available. I've never been to a bakery with that many different offerings. Everything looked amazing and everyone in line lets us know that everything is delicious!!! Honestly I wanted a bit of everything, but I had to have some self control. In the end I walked away with muffins, bars, a Bundt cake, a cake pop and tiramisu (this was all shared with another person). Just like the other patrons said, I quickly learned that everything was in fact delicious! It was fresh and so, so good!!! The staff was very kind and I think that Rebecca herself came out and chatted with us briefly. This was my first visit, but definitely won't be my last. Absolutely worth the drive from Lexington.
