Bestthing ever! i think that the have a very wide variety of things including the zip line which is AMAZING! I'm definitely going to come back to this wonderfully made place. We arrived on a cold and dreary day toward the end of their season. Very few customers that day so we got prime parking. Upon entering the barn style store, we noticed very quickly how the inside was clean and staff were friendly. We got a few things to try at home like the fudge and doughnuts. We also got some food: BLT, burger, chips, drinks, etc. There are a lot of places to take beautiful fall photos. We were 3 adults and a toddler, thankfully we paid a reduced price to enter the activity area because only the toddler did anything & it was too cold / wet to do most of the activities. She loved the petting zoo area & had a blast in the corn pit. I recommend going even on a day the sun doesn't shine. Be sure to wear boots. read more

A fun girls day out (for adults) This is a family friendly orchard, but don't shy away if you don't have children or just want to enjoy a fun day out with other adults. There's something for everyone here. My friend and I visited on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. We found a spot to sit and enjoy the atmosphere while sipping on apple cider mimosas & slushies. The slushie was my favorite for sure. They have several options for hard cider on tap as well as a variety of food options. We took a hay ride and attempted the corn maze. There's a store with so many different products for purchase. Apples, cider, donuts, jams/jellies, honey, spices, baking mixes, and so many more. I was surprised at all the things they offered. For family fun there's a play area with slides and other kid friendly activities. Admission and parking are free. You pay for any activities that you would like to participate in. What a beautiful and fun place to visit. The space is originally a tobacco farm repurposed to an orchard and family-friendly adventure. There are a ton of activities for kids and families; zip lining, big slides, party areas, giant corn hole, and much more. The space is just peaceful and relaxing. They have a market and food. I had an absolutely lovely Saturday here. My friend and I were looking for a place to enjoy a fall day and didn't want to go to Huber's (we are from Louisville). I had passed by Evans Orchard previously but hadn't stopped. I figured this would be a perfect opportunity. We arrived shortly after 10am and were able to quickly find a parking spot. We headed to the U-Pick pumpkin patch, where there were several cute photo spots. The pricing on pumpkins wasn't bad at all (0.49/lb). We found our pumpkins and paid for our first purchase. Then we wandered to the cider mill side where we did a flight of hard ciders. We sat in the rockers while enjoying our choices. We finished the day by making some purchase in the farm store (apple cider donuts are a must!) and then headed to the apple cannons. What is an apple cannon? Pure joy. You load an apple into a cannon, aim to a target and pull the trigger. They were perfectly safe to use and provided much laughter as we tried to hit the different targets. This will definitely be a place we revisit as it wasn't too crowded and we were able to actually enjoy our fall morning. read more

A trip to Evans Orchard & Cider Mill is a 5-star experience every time. I can only speak to fall visits as that is the only season I've been. There is a HUGE kids area that you pay extra for, but there are SO many other activities and things to see and do for free. It's also nice because you pay for what you do, instead of one high price to do it all. The shop is huge and smells wonderful. On my most recent trip, I bought a bunch of apples-- which were all delicious and make me sad that I ever had to buy grocery store apples. I have purchased their honey in the past and enjoyed it. You can order drinks inside and food/drinks from the stand outside. Sadly, on our last visit, we were there a little too late to to order food (though I have had the pimento cheese sandwich before and it's DELISH), so we opted for an apple cider float, and boy are we glad we did. It was AMAZING. Best frozen treat I've had in longer than I can remember. I also grabbed a container of pimento cheese to go as I think it's the best I have ever had. It's a little pricey, but worth it for a treat. It has whole cheese shreds instead of being more of a spreadable texture. The flavor is totally on point. We also grabbed a jug of cider. It was good, but not my favorite I have ever had. There are tons of places to take cute photos and you can pick your own fruits in different seasons. Went to Evans orchard on a beautiful Saturday in hopes of enjoying their famous donuts that were so highly recommended to us! Ended up with an incredible experience. For $20, we were able to do a tractor ride, a corn maze, have access to the petting zoo and the full playground. But the absolute best part were the apple cannons! You take apples that wouldn't necessarily be sold otherwise and use old cannons to shoot apples at targets. There's a beautiful pumpkin patch where you can pick your own pumpkins as well as apple cider galore. Really a beautiful gorgeous afternoon not to be missed in this fall weather. read more

It doesn't really get much better than this place. I was pretty much in fresh food and drink heaven the whole time I was here. It all started when I walked into the store while being crazy dehydrated on that 94 degree day. What helped get me feeling good quickly? The CIDER POPSICLE. 1 dollar and It's so tasty. Then I'm distracted by all the good food, sauces, honey, gifts and Ale 8 options glistening in the cooler. ( I chugged one in the store ) it was so good on a hot day. I scored some gorgeous heirloom tomatoes along with a bunch of other stuff. Prices here are super fair! I got 2 huge bags of stuff for 35 bucks. Let's talk about the hay ride. Well, it didn't have hay, which is awesome because I'm terribly allergic to that crap. It has seats and rails. Badass. 5 minute ride to the huge sunflower field. Then there's a zinnia field next to it as well. There's TONS of photo ops here. So get that polo or sundress and get the hell out here already. It's so nice. read more

Went here for the first time about a week ago with the company I work for. Their sandwiches were ok...I had a chicken sandwich while my husband had a bbq sandwich. Thankfully the buns didn't have eggs in it but the sandwich could have been a little better. They hardly put any bbq sauce on my husbands sandwich. I felt like they were skimming a little too much in the wrong areas. The overall ambiance was very nice. The store was clean. We took home some apple dumplings. Very rarely do you find desserts like that that had no eggs on it; and they put caramel right on top and warmed it up. By golly it was one of the most delicious desserts that I've ever had. I asked if their fudge had any eggs in it; and the gal who makes them, stated that they weren't baked so that they didn't have eggs in hem. There were many that had nuts, and there was a gal there that was also sensitive to food allergies. They washed the spatula so that I could try a small bit. Even took off the edge that could have had eggs so that I had a clean piece. I had the mint fudge. It was delicious. Both my husband and I indulged on fudge...so sweet and tasty. Their fudge reminds me of the fudge in the Smoky Mountains. We also got a bag of apples and a week later; and a week later, they are still fantastic. It's a family-owned and operated farm where you can pick your own apples, pears, blueberries, strawberries, pumpkins, or flowers; depending on the time of year. And in the fall, during pumpkin picking season, they also have a corn maze. This is my favorite time of year to visit! They have a great market with a huge selection of fresh fruits, vegetables, honey made from the bees there, homemade jams and jellies, fresh pressed cider, baked goods, Kentucky arts and crafts, gift items, and so much more. If you're visiting, you have to take a stroll through the market, even if you aren't looking to shop. It's still awesome to walk around and look at everything. There's also a cafe that offers pies and other baked goods, caramel apples, fudge, and snack foods like hotdogs, sandwiches, and more. So, if you're spending some substantial time on the farm and you get hungry, this is a great spot to eat. It's extremely family friendly. They have a play area and a barn yard and petting zoo for children. Evan's Orchard is a fun and family-friendly place to visit. If you're looking for a day of fun with your children and/or friends, I highly recommend Evan's. Of course they have a wonderful pumpkin patch and delicious cider during the fall, but we visited for their annual Summer sunflower fields. A great photo op! We purchased tickets online prior to coming and checked in. Very easy. They also have a tractor that takes you back to the fields. Again, very easy and rustic. We love. A cool thing about Evan's that I never knew was they have a farmer's market. Fresh produce and other things are available to purchase. There's also a restaurant that I've heard is DELICIOUS, but I believe it was closed during my visit due to COVID. The sunflowers were beautiful. It's my favorite flower so it was like heaven to me. They have cool photo places within the field (swing, hay bales, old truck) you can use as props almost. Parking is plentiful. They do have paved parking, but if it's too busy, you'll have to park in the grassy area. Finding Evan's was also easy. Just type into your GPS and you're good to go. read more

So cute!!! We went to get into the fall festivities! Fall is here! There are so many things to do! Great for families and pet owners! There is a huge area for the kids to play. I think there is an admission fee, but there are so many activities! The market had a whole bunch of goodies such as decor, desserts, caramel apples, shirts, and fresh produce. You can pick your own apples and pumpkins! There is a delicious ice cream truck and popcorn stand!!! I got the Cook's coffee on a waffle cone. Delicious!!!! I took my kids to Evans Orchard on Saturday October 12. It was a beautiful sunny day and it was crowded but there is always plenty parking spots. Evans Orchard was ready for a big crowd and there was plenty of good food, several trackers going to corn maze, and a lot of wide open space. The staff was nice. There was a live band to give it a festive atmosphere. There are rocking chairs throughout the property and plenty of pumpkins to chose from. A great place to visit. Hints- do the tracker ride to the corn maze, pick a pumpkin from the patch, eat a apple dumpling, and buy fudge!!! Yes, they make homemade fudge. It's amazing!! My favorite is Rocky Road but there are many to pick from. read more

Evan's is a fun, cool place to spend several hours or even a whole day! There are lots of great places around for family photos and delicious pick-your-own fruit depending on whatever's in season! They have a great covered patio where you can eat something from the little cafe! The Chicken Salad sandwich is great and so is the Bacon BBQ Chicken sandwich! The apple cider doughnuts are pretty good (doughnut holes with more topping would be even better) but apple cider slushes are great! Everybody there is very nice, super helpful and friendly! Admission to most of the place is free so you sort of expect to pay a bit more for the goods but their prices really aren't that high and are totally worth it! Evan's Orchard and Cider Mill was not exactly what I was expecting but it could have been because I went in October so it had more of an autumnal, pumpkin patchy feel. HOWEVER, I did enjoy the gift shop as well as the caramel apple sangria! Also a lot of spots to take photos! This is one of my all time favorite places to go in the Summer, and definitely in the Fall. We just experienced their "Sunflowers at Sunset" event and wow! the sunflowers could not have been more beautiful. The field was huge and perfect for pics with loved ones. Before we indulged in sunflower heaven, we played on the barn themed playground. My 3 year old grandson could not get enough. The have constructed a school bus, tractor, and fire truck out of wood. They are a kids imagination dream. There are big slides to slide down on burlap bags. Inflated bouncy floors (not sure what to call them), hills with ropes to climb, rubber duckie races, corn pits, hay bales to climb, hula hoops, spider web ropes to maneuver through, and more. His favorite this season is the bikes. His feet touch the pedals now, so he raced the family around the track. There are big tires to climb on and big rubber roller thingys that they get inside and walk/roll to the end (like. Hamster). There is also a petting zoo. One of favorite pulled pork sandwiches is here. They cook their fresh apples into it. Oh my! Their apple cider in the Fall is THE best. The flower hanging baskets are gorgeous!! We were at Evans to get some apple cider donuts. I remember how good they were when I got them at the Farmers Mkt downtown. What l got on 10/17 were awful. Leaving waxy taste in my mouth (like putting a small amount of Crisco in a he mouth) and grainy. There were tons of people everywhere with lots of children, no social distancing, many patrons with no masks, too many inside the gift shops. The donuts were hot sellers. Back again! I love Coming to Evans Orchard for the fall activities. It's my 4th time coming this year. Mostly just to let the kids play. A couple improvements, they had 2 food trucks, so that was cool. One had chicken tenders the size of my head and reasonably priced, hot and fresh. Hay ride is great, Play area is awesome and the shop is fantastic! Fly problem seemed to be improved and the bathrooms were cleaner then the last two years. Even with the addition of a few portable toilets, the lines are way too long for the regular bathroom. It's just ridiculous. This needs an immediate improvement. It's just too busy with way too many people to have (i am pretty sure), 4 stalls. It costs $14 per person to get in. This includes the play area and a hay ride that takes you to corn maze. Wear crappy shoes because they will get so dirty. I won't Do the Corn maze again unless my kids beg me. It can be a pricey day so be prepared for that. The kids totally love it though. read more
