Kroger is good for a lot of things. And I will probably come to this company for as long as I live near a Kroger. What I have just realized is that this company doesn't seem to care about allergies or honoring their return policy. I bought a Neutrogena face wash on March 1st, 2021. I used it ONE time and had a major reaction on my face. At first I was told that it wasn't within the 14 day window to bring it back. So I asked Kitty to just throw it away for me. Then I got to thinking and realized today would be the 14th day and decided I needed to talk to the manager. I spoke with Joe about it and he was sorry I had a reaction; but because I had opened it, he could not return it even though it was within their 14 day policy. Sure it was only $8.49; but still. This is a local grocery store that my husband and I frequently buy from. I almost NEVER return things. But this one time I did, and I got turned away. And never once did I see anything about that on their return policy. Attached is their policy that i had found. For a lot of good this company does, I'm upset that there isn't a clarified response on this; but I wanted to warn others before they decide to buy hygiene items from Kroger.

I walked around this Kroger with my jaw dropped to the floor. This isn't my first dance with Kroger. Years ago, I attended college in Ohio and visited Kroger multiple times. It's just a grocery store, comparable to Jewel back in Chicagoland (Kroger doesn't exist there). I had similar expectations with this location but nope, they wanted to blow my mind with sheer awesomeness. Where do I begin? - Sushi bar. A SUSHI BAR. - Plenty of organic produce to choose from. - A cheese station. CHEESE! - Make-your-own cupcake area with so many different toppings. - Plenty of pre-made foods. - A small dining/cafe area with beverage stations. - Clean bathrooms. - The largest 'natural/health foods' area I've seen in a 'regular' grocery store (oh, but the rest of the meatless products are with the meat products in the freezers). - Bulk foods! Yay! - 'Regular' groceries. - Spacious aisles, low prices, excellent choices. - A good selection of pet food/supplies. And then, THEN... THEY HAVE FURNITURE. And dishes. And bedding. Baby stuff. An electronics aisle. And a freakin' jewelry store. And more. What the..... While it doesn't quite fit in the same store category as a Target or Walmart, this is definitely more than a grocery store. DANG. I'm adding Kroger to my list of regular stores. Oh, and if you get a chance, sign up for a Kroger rewards card and get instant savings. It's worth it.

Seemed like a clean Kroger. Has a lot of options and is a lot bigger than the ones we have back at home.

Not a single cashier and the self checkouts are backed down two isles. Wonderful that no one wants to work anymore

Worst check out service in the state. One lane open at 5pm with no bagger. Short handed in deli meats.

It's ridiculous to have a store this size with no cashiers other than self checkout lanes open

The tender meal was done well and nothing had a texture like it had been sitting too long in the hot bar. The turkey was great, the deli worker asked how thin I would like it and took a test slice to see if it would be to my liking. This was a great experience.

When I try to bring them up to an employee to bring their attention to it I get looked at like I'm a Karen. I'm sorry that I don't like to be stolen from, you guys prosecute shoplifters but yet you do reverse shoplifting on people who come in to buy things as well. Now I have met some really sweet people there and then I have met some really rude people. I have been hit with those damn carts more times then I can count and I realize that they're on a time crunch, but the fact that I am trying to shop as well and you're getting paid to do what you're doing are two different things. I'm a very respectful person and when I see them coming, I try to get out of their way, but at the same time I'm trying to do my shopping. Be respectful back. One of the things that bothers me. The most is when I go to check out there's only a few lines open with real people so I will go to self check out because I only have so many items, but you will sit there and stare at me while I'm doing it making me feel uncomfortable but yet when your machine acts up, I can't find anybody to help me because they're too busy talking to other employees are on their phone. You need to do better. Customer service should be taught. I understand that some customers get out of line and become aggressive and I don't agree with that, but I'm not one of those people. If I treated people like that at work, I wouldn't have a job.

Upon entering the barn style store, we noticed very quickly how the inside was clean and staff were friendly. We got a few things to try at home like the fudge and doughnuts. We also got some food: BLT, burger, chips, drinks, etc. There are a lot of places to take beautiful fall photos. We were 3 adults and a toddler, thankfully we paid a reduced price to enter the activity area because only the toddler did anything & it was too cold / wet to do most of the activities. She loved the petting zoo area & had a blast in the corn pit. I recommend going even on a day the sun doesn't shine. Be sure to wear boots.

There's something for everyone here. My friend and I visited on a Saturday afternoon and had a great time. We found a spot to sit and enjoy the atmosphere while sipping on apple cider mimosas & slushies. The slushie was my favorite for sure. They have several options for hard cider on tap as well as a variety of food options. We took a hay ride and attempted the corn maze. There's a store with so many different products for purchase. Apples, cider, donuts, jams/jellies, honey, spices, baking mixes, and so many more. I was surprised at all the things they offered. For family fun there's a play area with slides and other kid friendly activities. Admission and parking are free. You pay for any activities that you would like to participate in. A great way to spend a Fall day.
