Now I'm just gonna say it depends on who you're speaking to because I can go into the produce section and there are a few that are really sweet and they'll help you when you have a question about something and then others who look at you like you're bothering them. Management was really sweet when I went to them with a request for something because I'm diabetic and they didn't have a lot of options for something that I wanted and she did order it for me and I appreciate that. I thought that was very thoughtful of them to accommodate. I do feel that some of them that work there don't care for their job and I always say if you don't like to work with the public, you might wanna find something else because customer service is a big thing when you work with the public and if you don't like people, I work with them. Kroger is good for a lot of things. And I will probably come to this company for as long as I live near a Kroger. What I have just realized is that this company doesn't seem to care about allergies or honoring their return policy. I bought a Neutrogena face wash on March 1st, 2021. I used it ONE time and had a major reaction on my face. At first I was told that it wasn't within the 14 day window to bring it back. So I asked Kitty to just throw it away for me. Then I got to thinking and realized today would be the 14th day and decided I needed to talk to the manager. I spoke with Joe about it and he was sorry I had a reaction; but because I had opened it, he could not return it even though it was within their 14 day policy. Sure it was only $8.49; but still. This is a local grocery store that my husband and I frequently buy from. I almost NEVER return things. But this one time I did, and I got turned away. And never once did I see anything about that on their return policy. Attached is their policy that i had found. I just had a lovely experience with a couple of check out guys at Kroger's. I found all of my groceries and I went up to get checked out and I couldn't find my charge card. I looked all through my wallet and they said do you want us to hold these groceries for you or you going to come back and I was like I'm hoping to. I went back to my car looking around again for my wallet and I see a young man walking around with my wallet in his hand holding it up trying to find me. I recognize my wallet I opened my door and I was like it's me it's my wallet. He said it was in that charge reader and we didn't notice until it started beeping after I left. I have never felt so happy in a long time. So I went back into the store and checked out but they had fixed it all for me and I made sure to ask the checkout man's name and he was Jacob. Worst Kroger in Kentucky. We literally live 3 minutes from this location and we drive to Frankfort Kroger to grocery shop. This location is NEVER stocked. It's like the pandemic is still happening in Georgetown. I'm not understanding why we don't have another grocery store besides Walmart or save a lot. I walked around this Kroger with my jaw dropped to the floor. This isn't my first dance with Kroger. Years ago, I attended college in Ohio and visited Kroger multiple times. It's just a grocery store, comparable to Jewel back in Chicagoland (Kroger doesn't exist there). I had similar expectations with this location but nope, they wanted to blow my mind with sheer awesomeness. Where do I begin? - Sushi bar. A SUSHI BAR. - Plenty of organic produce to choose from. - A cheese station. CHEESE! - Make-your-own cupcake area with so many different toppings. - Plenty of pre-made foods. - A small dining/cafe area with beverage stations. - Clean bathrooms. - The largest 'natural/health foods' area I've seen in a 'regular' grocery store (oh, but the rest of the meatless products are with the meat products in the freezers). - Bulk foods! Yay! - 'Regular' groceries. - Spacious aisles, low prices, excellent choices. - A good selection of pet food/supplies. And then, THEN... THEY HAVE FURNITURE. And dishes. And bedding. Baby stuff. An electronics aisle. And a freakin' jewelry store. And more. What the..... While it doesn't quite fit in the same store category as a Target or Walmart, this is definitely more than a grocery store. This place sucks. There's not enough room to walk in there. The aisles are so small and crammed full of stuff. It's a madhouse it's always full of people is never stocked they don't have enough staff. This is honestly the worst Kroger I've ever been to. I don't live in the area, but this is my go-to grocery store when I'm in the area or camping at the Horse Park. Other parts of the country have Publix, in this area, Kroger rules the roost as our grocery chain options. Each one has expanded within the last few years. This location is no different, it's a superstore of sorts. Each time I've been here, I've experienced exceptional customer service and the employees that I've encountered are friendly and helpful. I still choose the you scan option and every time I do something to set off that pesky "calling for the attendant" alert. The best things about Kroger are the sales, the Kroger Plus Card, and the convenience of the app. You can choose and download specific coupons directly, as well as make shopping lists from the app. It's one of the only shopping apps that I use. So, if you're not using it, you're missing out. read more

My ClickList experience has gotten progressively worse to the point that I won't use it again. I send instructions every week to select unbruised, fresh produce and green bananas, and they always send the worst available. I know this because when I go back to the store the next day to purchase what they inevitably left out of my order, I walk by produce that would have met my request. The last straw was when I was sent old, stale bread yesterday. My dog even refuses it. And my family is dissatisfied with my shopping because Kroger doesn't listen to my instructions, and it looks like I did a terrible job shopping when it is Kroger. I'm fed up. This Kroger location is really great! We stopped here on our way through Georgetown to grab a few items for a camping trip, and we found everything we needed, and then some, without any issues. The store is clean, well-lit, and overall feels really nice. We didn't personally deal with any staff (we did self-checkout), but I saw several staff members stocking and organizing. It appeared they were keeping the store in good order. This Kroger is large, and they have everything from groceries, to toiletries, to household items, to clothing. If you're in the area and need a grocery stop, this is a great spot for it! read more

Worst Kroger in the area. I moved to Georgetown from Lexington 1.5 years ago. I regularly shopped at 3 different Lexington Kroger locations in Lexington 2-3 times a week for the previous 12 years with no problems. Now I HATE grocery shopping because of this specific location. Not one time have I gone home with everything I had on my list. It's never stocked and PACKED with people no matter the time of day. There's usually a line extending through the parking lot if you want to do a Click List pick up. Lines are long in the store and you have to jockey for positions at the meat and dairy sections. It's also over priced. Some of this is not this Kroger's fault, since it's for all intents and purposes the only grocery store in G'town. However this place is so poorly managed that it's a nightmare each and every time I go. read more

This store is the only grocery that is convenient to me. I'm sorry to say, however, that it is so horribly mis-managed that they make it almost impossible to do business there. From the pharmacy that never has my medicine when they say they will, and have no concerns about making me wait in line for an hour just to tell me to circle around again, or the pickup service that is so completely incompetent it is ridiculous. I could understand one or two bad experiences, but this is every single time I try to do business there. When I order pickup, I select a time for pickup that works with my schedule. Almost every time, they are an hour or more late in being able to fill my order. Do they think that picking up groceries is the only thing that I have to do? Get a grip. Then, when I do pick up my order, it is not uncommon for them to not have half or more of the items I order. It is insane. I have complained to Kroger corporate, but they don't do anything. They need to get new management. The problems are so pervasive that I expect they rest more with either regional or corporate management Then at the store level, but either way, if this store is an example of the way Kroger does business, I can't believe that Kroger is still in business. I spend a lot of money at this store. It's the only game in town for good groceries. The problem is....they know it. This store is always very busy. They can't even keep Milos diet ice tea or even eggs. I think the management just doesn't care because I he store is the top store in Lexington. Not to say I do not shop here. I do but it burns me on how well this store could be if it was run properly. It's things like the meat butcher case should open at 8am and most days it's not open atv8. When you shop at 7 or 8 am you have to dodge the pallets that are in the isle for stocking. Also why do they not stock at night? I do love this store but some serious issues with management. For a small town, our Kroger gives competitors a run for their money. Excellent customer service. They strive hard to be on top of their game. Keeping shelves stocked with fresh products, and variety with competitive prices. Being a 100% organic health crazed foodie. Kroger has done a very nice job catering to this target customer. Was the 9th car in line for clicklist pick up between 4-5 on a Monday. They had two guys working. One of them made sure he walked as slow as he possibly could. There was obviously no need for urgency to move the line any faster. Sat in line for 45 min and another 15 min waiting for them to bring my groceries out to the car. I couldn't saved the fee for pick up and just gone in to get them myself. I called and asked for a manager. Instead, they transferred me to the click list #. Great idea as that would delay them even more. Very disappointed. If you're going to offer a service like this, run it more efficiently. read more

Growing up in Georgetown, I never would have imagined there would be a store with such a large international foods section! This "new" Kroger has been open for our past two trips back to my hometown, and while my husband likes to joke at the way we reference it (and it's predecessors) we have thoroughly enjoyed our shopping experiences here. In June, we even had a late night date to the grocery store, just so we could take it all in (and get banana pudding!) This grocery store truly has it all - so much so, that it was difficult to classify. In addition to a home items section (think pillows and bath towels), there's also a liquor store, a jewelry store, and a medical clinic. (I'm probably leaving a few things out as well.) It's clean, it's fairly well organized and the staff is very willing to help. On our trips here, one of them pointed out that the carts have a bit of a cheat sheet built into the seats, and another walked me to the aisle to find the exact item item I needed. We love shopping here, and not only because the prices are much lower than in Canada :) read more

I accidently left my wallet in a cart where the carts are located in the front of the store and this happened Sunday night and here it is Tuesday morning and I keep getting the run around and a bunch of excuses. All I asked if they could look at the video, because where I parked my cart there is a camera. We travel all over this beautiful country of ours and live full-time in our motorhome. This by far is the cleanest, nicest grocery store I have ever been in. Dale in the meat department was very helpful and kind. He had a beautiful smile on his face and it was very obvious that he was sincere and liked his job! I then went to the ladies clothing department and Julie was so helpful! She had the most infectious laugh and smile on her face. I bought several pieces of clothing and the quality seems terrific! The pharmacy here is way too much work! Every month there's a battle in getting my prescriptions correct. There's times that my doctor has called things in, and the pharmacy says they haven't even heard from his office! If you want your pharmacy needs met with ease and no stress, go elsewhere! The other day the girl working there drug me all the way to the other end of the meat case and said they had a new chart they went by and I was supposed to point out on that chart how I wanted my meat cut!
