    Still low on dumbbells

I ran across a few sales on athletic shoes and dumbbells and visited Meijer to take advantage of the discounts. I used to have a gym membership, but found that during quarantine many people had begun to create their own fitness room at home. Since I was late to the game, i found that dumbbells were always out-of-stock. I checked weekly at my local store and eventually was able to complete my collection.

I don't come to this Meijer as much as I would like to; but I do love the shopping experience it gives me. Meijer is like a Wal-Mart: a little more expensive in some items yet they are well made. It's also like Kroger: much cheaper but each equivalent to the other. I always find something I need here. Haha. Ok more like want. Regardless, their produce is ALWAYS fresh and very rarely do I have any produce that rottens quickly. If I lived closer to this area, I would definitely come here more often. If you've never been, you should really try it out and see for yourself. :-)

My wife and I stopped in here to this Meyer while we were in the town visiting relatives. We had a good shopping experience she enjoys getting out and looking for clothes and different things that are local Meyer might not have. And this was a nice Meyer I mean they had a good food selection and they had a good pet selection and home Decore and clothing I even bought me a cool novelty T-shirt which I like to wear so all in all good place

The best smelling spray hand sanitizer by the register is my favorite thing I own.

This was my first visit to a Meijer. This was an Instacart trip. I was shopping with someone's list. Is it just me or is it a little darker than other stores? Trying to find specific items was easy to locate with signage that says its category (I.e. "Beef" "Pork") but trying to find specific cut was a little hard with the lower lights and no real directions but it was VERY clean and organized with good labels. There was even a cut that was discounted 20%, I think that it resembles of a "Managers special" at Kroger. I did have some difficulty finding some items but I feel I wasn't comfortable with the layout. I walked back and forth to find items with poor directions on the app (aisle number just product category) . Check out was ok, cashier didn't make or break my day. I did get trapped by the register deals and I got the Meijer brand Hand Sanitizing Spray and it was AMAZING! It smells GREAT and is better than gel hand sanitizers. (Pictured)

What has the world come to. First you have to ring yourself up bag your own groceries. NOW the will NOT break a 20 for you. So if you get cash back and need 2 tens you are out of luck. I was informed nope sorry corporate policy not allowed to touch the money. NO CHANG FOR YOU. Then they pointed to the bank. Go to the bank. Seriously This is the worst customer service ever. It's terrible. Maybe they'll be next .... The next to go under. I hope so.

My cats love this thing and it wasn't very expensive due to Meijers great deals.

Absolutely garbage that this store expects it's customers to buy a $15.00 book of stamps, when some people only need maybe one.

There's a lot of discrimination occurring from a night management standpoint that affects one's ability to effectively perform his/her job.

My young companions and I did end up browsing the aisles to see what products the store offers. I must admit the cleanliness of the store was definitely a positive. The aisles and shelves are very organized and things are grouped in such a manner that it makes items easier to locate. Although they did have Thai Basil in stock, it was old and of poor quality so I did not purchase it. Quite a bit of the produce was not in the best shape. I did however purchase a non-produce item. The staff member at the cash register was very kind, interacted with genuine consideration of the young children whom were with me, answering several of their questions. He then offered them both a Pocky snack free of charge for both of them, they were ecstatic! If I am in the area and have need of non-produce items, then I will return to this establishment.

Condiments I've never seen before , mochi , ice cream. Fish balls (not too sure about trying those simply because I'm not a fish fan). They also have a tank with HUGE crabs. I will say this I'm born and raised in New York and spent a lot of time in China Town and I'm accustomed to the smell of fish. So if you're not you may be surprised when you walk in. The woman at the register was friendly and smiled when we walked in. The store itself was well organized and clean. As for the pricing it was definitely reasonably.

Funny enough, we have MORE fun shopping at Aldi, talking to other patrons and then figuring out what our bill would have been elsewhere. Let me just say - we are saving between 40-60% off our previous grocery bill. It's truly shocking. It's more fun than the Target Dollar Spot! We still have the occasional Costco run, but even some of our Costco staples are cheaper at Aldi! Now, if only I can remember a quarter and all my reusable bags!

She's particularly fond of German cookies so every Christmas season I go and buy her a bunch of German cookies. They also had frozen apple strudel which I probably should have gotten. They have the Kringle too. They have beef schnitzel but I was looking for pork which I didn't see unfortunately. I did end up with some cooca dusted truffles and dark chocolate covered marshmallows as well. In the Aldi's "find" isle they had some really nice gifting ideas. Such as a fairly thick blanket but it wasn't what I was looking for. The sled candles were super cute as well.
