Nice boots and good prices. Be careful if you get a light colored boot (Tan/ Light brown.) They will try and sell you cleaner or conditioner at the checkout, which worked on me. They say the conditioner will not alter the shade of the boot at all, but it does. The conditioner darkened my tan boots about two shades darker permanently. It is aggravating for them to you something with full confidence and it be deliberately misleading. Do yourself a favor by not getting the cleaner or conditioner if you have a light colored boot, it will darken it. read more

Wow I was so pleased with the service today during my visit and there was definitely a refreshing feel upon walking through the doors. I was able to grab a pair of very comfortable hiking shoes for 33 sum odd dollars on CLEARANCE! There was only one pair and they were just my size. Every single employee in this store deserves a gold star because in my opinion they meet the Gold Standard for a retail store shopping experience. The prices were fair and warranted given the quality and amount of options they offer. I have so much respect for the district manager that was here today, we had a short but sweet conversation about our personal lives and found out we had a lot in common. What a treat! The cashier was also very helpful and guided me around the store to help me find some things that I was looking for specifically ( a keychain). Great attitude towards their jobs and the business they are in, you can tell they are very experienced and very knowledgeable about their business. Visit your local Boot Barn TODAY you won't regret it, you're likely to leave with a big smile on your face like I did today. I had purchased a pair of Twisted X boots from the store in Hamburg a year ago or so. I really liked the look and comfort so I bought them. After a few months they squeaked every time I stepped so I stopped using them. I finally decided to just ignore the noise and wear them. I then discovered they were separating from the sole. I emailed the company and they said that while they understood there was an issue they weren't going to fix them and take them back to the store. I took them into the store and spoke with a couple of very respectful young men. They were sympathetic and said there was probably nothing they could do but would ask. A young lady named Lindsey was very understanding and told me to exchange them. I responded with all I am looking for is to have these repaired and she said they have had nothing but trouble out of that company and to pick out a different pair. So moral to the story..... don't buy Twisted X, they are expensive and do not have any quality whatsoever- very disappointed and will never buy another pair. I will however buy every pair of boots for me and my family from now on from the Boot Barn. I would highly suggest that you do the same. read more

This place in Orlando was good- except they won't mail your boots to you even if you pay for shipping but the one we visited in KY - the cashier was unbelievably rude and the "mgr" - in fact the associate walked away from the register when she was waiting on us. Said she couldn't handle us because I wouldn't give her our phone number. the manager wasn't much better when we talked to her and asked what just happened. I sent an email to corporate and never heard back. We have spent a lot of money at boot barn over the last year-I have since resorted to find other small mom & pop shops and or local places. Sometimes I fantasize about being a cowgirl. Boots, studded belts, a little mud on my jeans, and maybe a pistol on my hip --- oh, yes. Boot Barn fosters that fantasy. Unfortunately, LOOKING like a cowgirl isn't cheap. $90 jeans. $200+ boots. $40 shirts. And the list goes on. It adds up quick. And that's the reason I don't dress like a cowgirl. Well, that, and I'm not a cowgirl, so... yeah. This is a nice, spacious and well-stocked location. It's divided into five sections: men's, women's (with some home decor and accessories), kids, boots, and work clothes. Plenty of jeans, shirts, belts, and studded purses to choose from. The work clothes were pretty good too -- plenty of Carhartt jackets and such. And of course.... boots! The boot selection is pretty sweet and has plenty of reasonably-priced boots ($200 is pretty typical). I was drooling over the red Old Gringos. Someday.... Definitely coming back here when I have more money. For now, I'll just continue to fantasize.... read more

It was good store for average size people. I was dissatisfied only because I'm a 3X in size 42 pants. And they didn't have much of a selection for that size and they didn't have a very good selection of hats cowboy hats but now as far as boots they had a great selection and a wide variety of boots. I would grade the store as at a seven on a scale of 1 to 10 but like I said if you were plus size guy like me you better go somewhere else for everything above your feet. read more

Surprisingly, Lexington is lacking when it comes to boot stores, so this boot store franchise was a welcomed addition to the Hamburg area a few years ago. There's also The Boot Store on Nicholasville Road, but this Boot Barn has a lot more selection plus, who wants to hit Nicholasville Road traffic? For the most part, the majority of the stuff is western styled. They have name brands like Miss Me, which I wouldn't consider western though. The boots are in the back, organized by size. I've honestly not found any within my price range. Plus, I still have those boots that I paid $300 for a few years back and only wore twice. Why are boots so dang expensive?! They need stretched, which apparently they do here. Who knew? read more

I had lots of questions and she answered them all. She's very knowledgeable of boot wearing, brands and styles. I love cowboy boots, and had bought a true amazing vintage style boot to wear for my wedding reception. I did buy these online from a different vendor in Nashville and needed them stretched to fit properly. A week after I dropped boots off I called to see if they were ready at Boot Barn the girl said they forgot about them and will get them done in a couple hours. Didn't have time to go check so I waited several days (b/c of work) go in and they couldn't get the stretcher out of the boot. So I go back a couple hours later.....the boots are destroyed. The leather is ripped inside, the boot is hard and crunchy and the leather is shriveled up. They won't even go half way on my foot from the top. So the manager did say he can try to condition them. So I came back an hour later. This made the leather a hair softer but still the boot is shriveled and not wearable. Basically, I now have very expensive book ends. I do feel the manager felt bad and I know he did try and fix the damage the best he knew how at the moment. Whoever was stretching the boot should have never even tried if they believed the boot wouldn't handle it.....professionals right?! To make matters worse, they claim they are not responsible for the damage they caused, so I left with a pair of ripped, shriveled up, nonfunctional boots that simply needed stretched. I should have known it was not a legit shop after they "forgot" my boots for an entire week. Take your business elsewhere. read more
