Theses days, of course, it's central Kentucky's premier outdoor clothes, shoes/boots, and equipment. Most recently with an ice storm looming, I dropped in for some some battery powered flashlights/lamps. They were closing early to let their employees beat the ice and get home. I only had a bout 10 minutes to shop, but one of the sales clerks quickly offered advice and I was out of there in 5 minutes! Ice storm was a bust, but I'm ready for the next one!!

I did not speak to the owner and informed the employee whom I spoke to that it had been purchased within the past 30 days and that I had the receipt and was open to a store credit, which they were not willing to offer. I live about 40 minutes from the store so it's not easy to get back to do a return in 10 days. However, I have been a customer for many years. I don't shop there all the time, two or three times a year for special occasions . I had hoped this locally owned boutique would be flexible with their local repeat customers. Live and learn.

Prices are fair for a local business with high end clothing and accessories. Some may think it's slightly expensive, but I felt like I got high quality items for the price I paid.
