This Target seems to be short handed or maybe the 15-20 check out lanes don't work. I went as seen in this picture on a normal day mid afternoon. It was not holiday season. We weren't expecting weather or anything so no reason to be delayed getting in and out of the store. I grabbed my item and headed for the line. Only one check out lanes was open so everyone had to do self checkout. The line was at least 75 yards long so I had to leave and go to Walmart. Nice store though but I'm not a fan of this location anymore unfortunately. read more

In and out! We'd been shopping at the Fayette Mall nearby and spotted Target, which is our preference over other stores. We're from Louisville so it was a bit hilarious to see us so confused on how to find specific sections of the store. The layout was completely different and its gray floors also stood out as we are used to brighter, white flooring. When we found the grocery and snacks aisle, it was easy to find what we needed to stock up our kiddo for another 3 weeks at Centre College. Checkout was immediate with open lines and self-serve kiosks. Huge parking lot! Bathroom is in the back of the store. Also, two entrances/exits! That's another laughing moment for us as it's not the norm in Louisville. We went out the opposite way and had to figure out where the car was parked. read more

I remember when this store used to be Gold Circle. I was a little girl then, so don't let that fun fact age me too much. It's located off of Nicholasville Road, within eye shot of Fayette Mall. This is one of three Lexington Target locations. The third one will actually open near UK's campus this coming Sunday. I love Target, I even seek them out when I'm traveling. They are the classiest of department stores. If you don't think there is such a thing, or a department store without class, just lookup "the people of Walmart". I love their sales. I signed up for the automatic emails at some point. Those are helpful without being spammy. They lost the leading sales front and center. I love the home goods and decor. My favorite sheets in the world came from here. They were the most premium ones in the shelf, but worth the splurge. I found a deal on a $60 game for $20. When I arrived I found that they only changed the price online. So I ordered it online for pickup at the store, but told me I had to wait over an hour for them to go grab the game in the back. Basically trying to either get me to be impatient and spend the full price, or wait an hour. So I cancelled. Went to Walmart down the road and got the same game for the same price and it was actually changed on the shelf. Save money, live better. Also this place looks like a goodwill how it is taken care of and organized. Walmart was way cleaner which is saying something since everyone makes fun of Walmart for being dirty. read more

I needed a few things from Target and decided to try online ordering/curbside pickup. I downloaded the Target App and proceeded with my order. The next morning at 8AM I received a notice that my order was ready. Simple, easy to understand instructions. I pulled into the designated area, texted I was waitnig and, in minutes, an employee brought my items and put them in my trunk. How easy was that! I've only been to this location of Target once, but I had an alright trip to this store. I stopped in with my cousin who lives in Lexington, just to pick up a few items, and we were able to find almost everything on her list. We had quick friendly service and had no issues checking out. If I'm in this area and need to shop for home needs and/or groceries I would stop at this Target again. read more

I love Target and I've shopped in locations all over the country. Most Targets are clean and orderly, even in the wake of Covid and employee shortages. Not sure what's going on in the Lexington West Reynolds Road location, but this store is gross. The floor was dirty and covered in trash and fallen merchandise all throughout the store. The racks and displays are disheveled and disorganized. I wish I'd taken pictures because it's so hard to believe how bad it was, but I actually just abandoned my cart and got out of there. Corporate needs to intervene here. read more

Who doesn't love Target?! Clothing, electronics, toys, home goods, food...what else could anyone want? The book section at Target is always my go-to. They have new releases and popular book club features. I love their home section as well. Target furniture and fixtures are actually really good quality. I am a Target fanatic. Seriously, give me a few hours at Target,and I'll drain my bank account finding random stuff that I "need". But, this location is the worst. The parking lot is always crowded, and the selection of items has been lacking. Especially since COVID, most of the shelves are wiped out. Do yourself a favor in Lexington and go out to the Hamburg location instead - the store is much larger and the selection of items is greater. The Reynolds Road location does have a Starbucks though, which is nice to grab a coffee and wander the store and Drive-up is offered, which is a great service for when you're short on time or have kids in the car and don't want to go inside! read more

OK, so this is probably my own fault. Still, I'm going to complain. I needed some things from Target. I guess I absolutely had to have them or I would have stayed home and quarantined. So I put on my mask and I go in. I grab everything I need and then I wait in line to check out. There is a manager at the front of the store in between the merchandise and the checkout stands. I am assuming her job is to control the flow of people so that people aren't walking past each other infecting each other with any diseases. I had a little panic attack because as I sat there waiting six people walked by me without a mask as well as plenty of other peeps!!! Just strolling by like nothing is happening. I don't want to get sick!!! I don't want to bring the sickness to my family or my friends. Yes maybe I should just stay home and not even go out, But sometimes we need things. Target of all places should be better organized. They sell essentials, food, cleaning supplies, and whatever else is needed. Make the traffic of people go in one direction so there's not so much contact. Don't joke about the fact that five minutes ago no one at all was waiting to check out. I don't care if no one we're waiting then I'm waiting now and there's 1 million effing people walking by without masks on.. That's what you're supposed to control manager! I went to Target tonight to get some clothes for the kids. I want to say that the remodel and rearranging they have done has made my shopping experience there much more enjoyable. The best aspect is the fitting rooms are very close to kids clothing. In the past I would have to find clothes then drag my children to corner of the store to try on clothes, then go back to find more when those didn't fit. Now the fitting rooms are conveniently in the middle of the store! I would give five stars but the remodel has take a long time and things aren't quite finished yet. Maybe an upgrade will come from me in the future if they finish out with some other amazing changes! read more

I really love this location. It is so convenient whenever we are on the mall side of town. If you haven't been in a while, this Target now has a Starbucks! The only downside is that because they now have a Starbucks, they have no Cafe. What happens if I want coffee AND popcorn? :) It's a hard life, I tell ya! This Target is just like other Targets but maybe a little bit smaller? However, any location where I can get freshly brewed coffee, my newest book to indulge in, a bottle of wine, and great toys for my kid is a win for me! I wish Georgetown had a Target! Target is a favorite go to store for pretty much everything you and the family need. Housewares to kids clothes . The holiday decorations are incredible ! They always have a huge selection. I buy most of my work clothing here, I tend to get stains easiest being a hairstylist so I love that the prices are reasonable and the quality isn't bad either. Target also has adds small grocery area where the prices are pretty good . I like that they have added a Starbucks to almost all there locations . It's a one stop place. read more

How disappointing. After playing a curb side order that was supposed to be ready at 2 hours, I decided to go in the store and pick up the item myself. I watched as someone grabbed the last comforter right in front of me. I then (30 min later) get an email notice we are sorry your item isn't in stock. 5 employees sitting around... laughing... talking with each other at the customer service and on line pick up desk. No one cares. No sense of urgency. Maybe if my item was retrieved in a timely manner, it wouldn't have been sold out. Just very disappointing to watch a lack of work ethic and poor customer service skills. I will never come to this target again, as I've never had what I would call a good experience. read more

I used like Target, but my latest trip (8/9/23) was just awful. I recently suffered a foot injury and am wearing a special shoe and walk with a cane (fortunately, all this is temporary). I needed an electric cart to get around the store. There was one there, but the battery needed a charge and it was immobile. I flagged down a young employee, who acted like she didn't want to speak to a fat old guy like me, and asked if there were other carts. She asked other employees who said they would be in the general area if available. I had wanted 5 or 6 items, but decided just to get the main thing I needed. I toughed it out, in pain, and found the main item I was looking for. When I went to the checkout, there were 4 self service kiosks, and only 1 or 2 live checkout lines. The entire line was literally more than 50 people. I didn't want to stand in pain, so I dumped my item and went elsewhere. I doubt I will ever be back, even after my foot is better, unless there is an emergency and no where else to shop. You need many additional checkout people or many more self checkouts, plus making sure your electric carts are charged. Also, much of the store looked dirty and in disarray. I noticed many employees walking around looking at their phones. read more

Love this place!!! Their Cat & Jack line is so great! Im a fan of the Cartwheel app as well...the deals are sweet! I also love that you can get the digital coupons from the regular app as well. They always have specials of some kind going on. I haven't shopped at this store in forever. I didn't know about the grocery store in the back, I don't get out much. It was a very clean store and a very nice lay out. Everyone seems to be rather friendly and helpful. They are a big department store with everything you could possibly want. On this specific visit I had logged into the website and checked to see if they had a certain product in stock. They had a few it showed, but I couldn't find it. A worker not even from that department offered to help and then proceeded to go in the back warehouse to get the items I was looking for. That is customer service right there. Impressive. This Target is located at the end of Lexington Green over by the mall. That is a horrible spot in my opinion. Only because I hate the mall, lots of traffic, and congested areas. I enjoy visiting Target so much more than I do Walmart. It's easier to navigate and never as crowded. The only downside is that I can never manage to leave without spending at least $50 no matter what I came here to buy. They have a great selection of ladies clothes and accessories. On my most recent trip I bought a graphic tee and necklace. Target is a popular wedding registry place because their home goods and decor sections are super trendy. I recently bought a picture frame here that looks like a wooden industrial clipboard. They also have a great dollar section at the front of the store. You can find little things for kids like stickers, seasonal decorations, candy, wrapping paper, and my favorite thing to pick up there-stationary and cards. This location has a small grocery area. It's not big enough to do all your grocery shopping at (very little produce) but good to have if you need to grab something like soda or snacks. It's Target. I usually try to avoid this place if I can, mainly just to keep from spending too all my money here. It's way too easy to find something you never knew you always needed while in Target. For example, we visited today to register for baby gifts. While we accomplished this, we also managed to find $136 worth of things we didn't know we needed. I don't regret buying these things... We needed them! But my pocketbook would have been a little happier if I stayed away.. Their clothing is always interesting and quirky. Their housewares/kitchenwares section stocks both the essentials, niche products (donut-makers, hot dog toasters), and new takes on old classics (silicone anything, quirky new ramekins). The grocery area isn't particularly large, but it does stock all the essentials with a focus on organics. The only reason I can't give this place a 5 is because it's far too addictive to shop here on a regular basis. read more

walked into Target today to get my online order. wasn't really for sure how that process worked and I waited my turn to ask the associate where i went to pick it up. he then rudely told me I had to wait in line and didn't even answer my question. at no point was I trying to skip line I was just asking a question. Target offers gift cards for phone upgrades (on select phones) I traded in my pocket t-rex for a Samsung Galaxy Note 8. I received a 300 dollar gift card, plus 57 dollars for my old phone. Now I know what your thinking.... so What? But here's the catch. The cartwheel app offers hundreds of deals literally every single day. You can then combine that gift card with any deal in the store. So let me tell you how far it will stretch with a little compromise. I simply upgraded my phone and am now the proud owner of a nutri bullet, a wireless Wi-Fi high definition printer, smart tv, and two Google home mini. I had a return with for under 5..00 for some Krave pork jerky which wasn't worth the money . I went to go return it at this location and because I had thrown out the rest of it was told that they didn't know if they'd be able to return it . I stopped in here to purchase a $1000 item that the online product checker said this location had. I was helped by Jaylan in the electronics department who looked through the product and kept pulling out the same wrong product over and over obviously not knowing what he was looking for and eventually said we don't have any. I proceeded to tell him that is said you have them online and he said that the online inventory is a couple days off and they may have already sold it. I said can you look into your inventory and see if you have one. That's when another guy walks up and he said he can look it up for you. That guy proceeded to type away at his handheld and said we don't don't keep that product up here but in the back usually. He then went in the back to look for it.m and boom out he comes with the product I was looking for. He hands the item off to Jaylan and walks away. I'm still looking for some other products and Jaylan tells me he has my product if I'm ready to check out. I said I'm still looking around. I finish and walk up to the counter and let them know I want to price match Best Buy when he rattles off "we don't price match Best Buy". I said yes you do and that I had already called to check earlier. He says "no we don't". I then said yes you do and that he didn't know what he was talking about if he didn't even know where they kept the product. He then tells me "that he can refuse me service for being rude to him and that I would need to go to guest services to get help". I said it's not like I'm cussing you or something but you obviously don't know what you're talking about. He then says "I'm not going to wait on you, I have the right to refuse service to you for being rude". I said then get me someone who will. He says "I'm will not help you and I will not get someone else to help you". I'm tens kinds of upset at this point. Not only did he not care to find the product for me due to his ignorance on where they keep it but now he is unwilling to price match as the store policy states and to top it off he now refuses to help me. I then go on the search for a manager and get an associate to help me find one. The manager was really nice and helpful and said she would take care of the price match and the situation of which she did. I checked out and had my product but was still hanging around looking for some accessories for my purchase when I overhear Jaylan's recollection of how the sequence of events went down. He then proceeded to tell how helpful he tried to be and that I was being blah blah blah. I stepped around the corner and corrected his recollection of how everything went down with the manager and security. She ended the conversation and I went on my way out of the store. Target, I know it's hard to find intelligent people who actually care about the customer these days but this kid and his attitude toward the customer sucks! The only reason I'm giving this 2 stars instead of 1 is because of the very nice manager who took care of the situation and helped me out. Thank You! read more
