The staff here is so helpful. We came here looking for a dresser and found one! It was delivered the next day. Delivery was only $45 and they brought it up our stairs for us. We have been looking for a dresser for over a month and all of the furniture stores are back ordered. Some of them wouldn't be back in stock until end of November! We didn't want to wait that long. Another Mans Treasure sells some of their items right off the floor. They do have some items you can order but just like all of the other furniture stores they could be back ordered. Expect 12 weeks for those items. And they do not offer returns, exchanges, etc. they have big signs at the check out stands. They also have a large range of items from brand new to antique and inventory is always changing. I will be back when I am ready for my next piece of furniture. read more

I was super excited when I first went in here. Lots of cool pieces at super low prices. I wanted to see more actual antique-type items and they only had a few of these and they weren't interesting to me. Most everything they had were new items and some had some major flaws. But what really excited me was that they had some cool framed paintings at what I thought were good prices. Yes, they were reproductions, but at least they weren't made in China. We bought a big 3' x 4' Van Gough reproduction. It was cheaply framed, but for the price I thought it was fine. However, I didn't count on two things: 1. I didn't think to actually touch the painting in the store because that is rude. However, once I got it home, I realized the oil paint is tacky to the touch. It has been weeks and it won't dry. So, dog hair and lint stick to it. 2. The frame is SO cheap that it can't support its own weight. It was displayed on an easel in the store but as soon as we tried to hang it at home, the frame promptly broke. I called and spoke to a manager and she insisted that the painting was dry in the store (um, I am pretty sure paintings don't go from dry to wet again) and that the painting was hanging in the store when we bought it (not true) so it should be fine. She claimed that it must have become wet again by us taking it home when it was raining (it was dry and sunny when we bought it). She did not offer to refund or replace our purchase. If their items are so cheap that they fall apart when you get them home, then it doesn't matter how good the price is. I don't think I will buy anything here again. read more

I have liked Another Man's Treasure for a long time even when they were at the other store location. They use to hold car shows and not sure if they do that anymore. I have always thought they had interesting items both new and used. We were glad to see more new items on this visit. The prices seemed very good for the pieces I liked. Hadn't been in a while. Was pleasantly surprised with the store. Then an older woman who works there was walking around without a mask. She said she doesn't wear one and usually isn't around people. Unbelievable, do not patronize this business they take advantage of those trying to sell estate things and emotionally don't give a shit.I wish I had known would never have done it. I'm looking for a particular type of accent chair and went to check out the inventory at AMT. Amiable staff. Warmly greeted as I walked in. While they didn't have what I was looking for, there was a large selection of new and used furniture. Some pricey. They do have layaway. It's the kind of place you'd have to haunt, especially if you're looking for something specific. My search continues, but have a look and you might find what you want. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible. I have easily dropped $4,000 in this store. The latest was for a bed, mattress, and chest of drawers. The slats for the bed have been cut incorrectly and the nails in the bed have torn the mattress up. I called the store....no one cares....they already got my money. Eclectic mix of old and new furniture and home décor--it is always fun to stop in and explore! I was in the market for a rustic cabinet to serve as a pantry in my farmhouse kitchen. As it turned out, the owners work with a gentleman who makes custom pieces. There is a binder with a variety of furniture pieces that you can select from. It can be customized by color, paint/stain and amount of distressing if so desire. The gentleman worked with me on sizing and I was able to get just what I wanted. They have a full size wood bar with an overhead covering, dressers from the turn of the century, couches from the 1800's in great shape to today's coolest looking pieces. I'll start with the positives. The delivery men were incredibly helpful, kind, and respectful. They even figured out a solution for us in a timely manner and were polite and empathetic the entire time. The single star is for them (and only them) and if I could rate them independently they would get 5 stars. We also love the couch, were happy we had a more affordable and local option for furniture, and appreciated the prompt delivery. Both my partner and myself work for local organizations and always strive to support local businesses as often as we can. However, the owner or manager was extremely disrespectful and did not properly communicate their company's delivery policies or options to us. We paid for the couch the day before the delivery was scheduled and my partner was told we would receive a phone call that day at 10:00 am and be given a 2 hour window when the delivery would occur. We figured we could make this work as we could each spend one hour of our lunch break waiting during that window. My partner got a call at 10:00 am letting us know our window was 10:30 am-12:30 pm. We were more than happy to be there, however, 30 minutes is not enough notice for most people during their work day and we were both in meetings until at least 11:00 am. My partner requested that the delivery drivers come a little later and said 12:30 or 11 would work better. The manager informed us they would try but that it would most likely be closer to 10:30 and they ended the call. My partner then got a call at 10:25 from the delivery driver saying they were on their way. At this point I called the manager myself and let him know 25 minutes was not enough notice considering A) we paid for this delivery service and were not properly informed that we would only be given 25 minutes notice B) we both work 9-5 and it was already difficult to make the 2 hour window work in our schedules. The manager, in an incredibly rude tone, replied "ma'am all of our customers work." He continued to talk down to me and would not listen to my concerns as a paying customer. I am in my early 20s and both my partner and I work in the non-profit sector. This was a huge purchase for us financially and while we were excited about our first new couch the entire interaction left a bad taste in my mouth. If we had more money to shop elsewhere we most definitely would have and I almost considered returning the couch and going with a non-local option due to the mistreatment I received at the hands of the owner or manager. I will not be returning to this establishment and I have several friends who are moving and looking for new furniture who will not be shopping here either. I was excited about my first big furniture purchase and was excited to shop local but have been incredibly disappointed by the way this company has treated myself and my partner. read more
