I walked in and was amazed at the huge selection of loose tea available for purchase. White, black, green, caffeinated, unique flavors, you name it and there is something for you here! The owner was so kind as he explained to me a bit about what they carry and invited me to smell the wonderful aromas of the tea by opening the jars and discovering the scents. (This is very sanitary, as the jars are covered allowing you to smell without compromising/contaminating the product). In addition to an array of teas, there is also a merchandise and wide variety of spices. There is metered parking directly outside the storefront. Supporting local businesses brings me so much joy and I will be back.

The owner, pardon me for forgetting his name, was so knowledgeable and told me about all the different kinds of tea he had, and even showed me tea that strongly resembles the taste and smell of coffee (so I can get my dad to switch haha). They also have a rewards program that you don't have to sign up for, it's just a little index card that they punch and you can get free tea! Overall, such a lovely place to go. One of my friends was quick to point out the micro cilantro. Then it dawned on me, I remember Simply Seedlings mentioning on IG that they supply those greens to Mintons! I wasn't positive about it, so I later confirmed that they were in fact their seedlings. Before I could go back and rave to my friend, she'd already shouted out the greens in her five star review of Mintons. I too had the Huevos Rancheros, and I can attest, those Simply Seedlings were more than simply, they literally made the dish! Kudos to Mintons for using those locally sourced greens. Genius! The food was not very hot by the time we sat down to eat, and it was very crowded at 11 AM. The employees were meh but then again, it was a holiday so I appreciate their presence. Kim showed us a ton of different flavor profiles. She was able to use what we told her we liked to give recommendations for other sauces and products. She also made sure to help us get the best deals available and to sign us up for the rewards program. All in all, we are hooked now that we have experimented with some recipes. This morning, we used the apple cinnamon barbecue sauce to make a spam hash in the air fryer. It was too good for words. We will definitely be returning to this store!

So far we've tried the milk chocolate key lime truffle and the fleur de sel sea salt caramel truffle and they both were so good! The caramel was thin and tasty and the salt really balanced the sweetness. Their key lime truffle is definitely a top contender, if not number 1, because they were able to pack so much of the lime flavor into a truffle.
