Sweet tea at Culver's in Cool Springs

Culvers never disappoints! My daughter and I were at Culvers in Cool Springs for lunch today. We both got the Cod sandwich value meal. Their cod is the best! The staff is friendly and so welcoming! If you're in Cool Springs definitely hit them up!

Because the hotels in the area suck and there's nothing around, I decided on ordering Culver's via Uber Eats. It came fast (like 15 mins from ordering) and it was fresh and delicious. The grilled chicken sandwich and cheese curds hit the spot. I wish they would have put some mustard or something in the bag for the curds, but even without, I somehow enjoyed fried cheese. Go figure.

Culver's never disappoints! My family and I rarely dine at fast food restaurants, but this place is an exception. Everything we have ever ordered has been exceptional! Recently, my husband and I ordered the fish sandwich. It had the best tasting, huge piece of Cod on it. Made me more impressed that they choose that type fish versus Swai that many other restaurants offer. I definitely prefer Cod over Swai! The custard is delicious in a Coke or Root Beer float. And, it's the only place I'll get a Sundae bc it's the only place that offers my favorite flavor (Cherry.) I can't find any other place that offers it anymore, so Culver's will continue to get my business. Same for Malts, most places have stoped making them. But, you can still get one at Culver's. So, they'll continue to get business particularly for that reason too. Culver's has daily custard flavors, and they have the BEST root beer I've ever tasted! My husband really likes their hamburgers, and I like the crinkle fries. Honestly, we haven't found anything we don't like! Oh, except they are very strict about charging for "extra" anything. Be careful, if you alter your order from what's on the menu. Any extra condiment or food item will cost you more money! They do not give complimentary items. They are very strict about adding anything, and they will charge you. I've leaned the hard way, they don't usually inform you at check-out that things are an extra charge. It's left to you, to see the price difference, before you hand over the $.

As a Midwesterner, you'd think I'd been to Culver's more, but this was only my second visit and first ever at this location. The ButterBurger lived up to the hype - juicy, flavorful, perfectly cooked, and full of all the fixin's I'd want. The deep fried Wisconsin cheese curds really took me back to my childhood when my Grandpa would bring us string cheese and cheese curds from WI - they were delicious, but fair warning to eat them fast! They're amazing when hot but get tough as they cool. Overall, a great meal and a classic Midwest-vibe fast food experience! We went through the drive thru on a busy Sunday evening but were pleased with the speed.

I love Culver's and I have missed them since moving here, so we were glad to find one in Franklin. Apparently they are super popular because the restaurant was packed and we had to stand and wait for a table to become available. We ordered some of our favorites: a kids meal with a butter burger with cheese, the fried cod, and cheese curds (try them with the honey mustard - you will thank me!) This is a great spot for a quick bite if you are in the area.

Hitting the drive-thru. There are lots of parking spots around the restaurant.

After doing some shopping on the 4th of July in Franklin, I wanted to explore the area and took a drive. I also needed a beverage. There was a Starbucks nearby. I went through the drive-thru. A pleasant man let me know that the cafe had closed for the day. I was disappointed as it was just after 8 pm. It's interesting, but the Starbucks cafes in Nashville close early compared to what I am used to in the greater Toronto area. I was bummed, but thanked him for the information. My drive to figure out what was around here led me to seeing a Culver's sign. It's in a plaza with Walmart anchoring it. I was elated seeing Culver's that I automatically drove over to the restaurant. I hit the drive-thru. It wasn't busy. I heard a female voice on the other end. I was thrilled that this eatery was still open. I ordered a strawberry shake in a regular size. I got to the pickup window and paid with a credit card. All was great. The woman handed me my shake and I was happy. I thanked her and drove off with my shake. I love Culver's shakes. You can taste real strawberry in my shake. It was a hot day and this shake it the spot. It was cold, creamy, and delicious. I normally get a butter burger from Culver's, but I had eaten dinner before I came here. I look forward to returning to get my usual swiss mushroom burger with crinkle-cut fries. (235)

This is a true Irish pub that pours a proper pint of Guinness and a smooth Smithwick's, along with a solid lineup of other beers. If you know, you know and they know how to pour it right. For an appetizer, I kicked things off with 10 "Almost Famous" Wings. Let me just say this clearly: the Nash-Hot wings are the BEST in Franklin. Crispy, flavorful, and bringing just enough heat to remind you that you're alive without requiring a fire extinguisher. For lunch, I went with a classic Irish go-to, the Fish & Chips. The fish had a light, crispy batter and was cooked just right. Flaky, tender, and not greasy. Exactly what you want. My wife ordered the Quinn's Classic Reuben, and it was stacked, melty, and equally impressive. The service is always top notch. Jeffrey, the owner, strolls around the dining room making everyone feel welcome and appreciated -- and that personal touch makes a difference. You won't have a problem carrying on a conversation. In fact, you could have each person of a party of four sit in opposite corners of the place and speak in a whisper, and still spill the tea. Crickets, and I can't explain why. As I mentioned, the food is good. Hearty and tasty. I got the make your own. A simple burger with bacon and avocado, and fries. Delicious. I can't explain why the hoards haven't found their way here. One possible explanation could be that there's a hippie restaurant, Flower Child, right next door. It was drawing pretty heavy on the foot traffic. Then there's the Shake Shack across the parking lot. It too seemed pretty popular. So what it probably comes down to is the old adage, location, location, location. My daughter seems to think that it's name recognition. She could be right. I don't get how Mooyah ties into burgers. Maybe "moo" as in cow? They do have shakes. Is that where the moo comes into play? It's a mystery. Give the Moo your business. You're going to like the food, and if you're a loner, you'll be in heaven. Quick Tip: Pass on the soda and get one of the mixed fruit drinks. They're quite refreshing, and because there's nobody there, your drink will be abundant and cold.

They come in single, shareable, and family portions. We chose to share the shareable size, and it was plenty for two. If you're hungry for burger and fries, this is a good place to go. You can order either two or three, and of course I went with three! The buns were soft, the chicken was cooked perfectly, and they used just the right amount of buffalo sauce. I added blue cheese for dipping, and wow... sooo good! They also come with your choice of a side, and the Tots were a great pick. We also shared the Rainbow Roll, and I was pleasantly surprised.
