Good friendly service and good food but I'm only giving it 3 stars bc they're so expensive. I went to a place called brookton catfish school up the road from Culver's and got a basket of shrimp, 2 large fish fillets and 2 sides with a large drink and service for 1 dollar more than what I spent at Culver's. I bought a kids meal and an adult meal fish sandwich and got sticker shock. So I'm just not happy with the prices. read more

Excellent service, friendly staff, have yet to not make orders as we want them! We've used in store ordering, drive through and their app to mobile order and never an issue. Plenty of napkins and utensils in to go orders and the food is hot when received. They even have a plant based burger that my wife orders and she loves them. read more

This has to be the most consistently high quality fast food restaurant I've ever been to. Every employee is always so nice and looks you in the eye when they talk to you. The food is always really good for fast food. My order is consistent every time. I just pulled in at 8 o'clock on a Friday night with eight cars in front of me, by the time I got done at the drive-thru speaker and I pulled up the pay, all eight cars in front of me had been served. Great fast food place. Coming here and getting the butter burger next time. Don't know if the mushroom burger came w/ all the fixins or not (it was good but I'd like the tomatoes, onion, and lettuce in it too), but my son's kids meal came with all the fixins and looked better than mine. Love the concrete with the pecans and strawberries mixed in, the strawberries are sweetened though so keep that in mind if you decide on it as a mix in. As for the cheese curds. I was unimpressed. Tasted like they took top ramen powder and dropped a pound of it in the batter. I've been going here for a while, and it's been a pleasure going every single time. The food is really good (the Culver's bacon deluxe meal and mint chocolate chip custard is my go to meal lol), the service is really quick and friendly, and the place is really clean and quiet. The only real complaint I have is this one time that I went to the soft drink fountains and all of them only came out flavored water, which was weird. Yum! This is the first Georgia outpost of the Wisconsin based pseudo-fastfood restaurant featuring Midwestern beef butterburgers, fried cheese curds, and decadent frozen custard concoctions. Yes, you'll have to travel up to Dawsonville to find this spot, but it's worth it (and just barely north of the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall). They're called butterburgers not because the never frozen beef is drenched in the stuff, but because the rich bun is perfectly buttery toasted before receiving its crown of beef. And that butter comes from one Wisconsin dairy farm. The "basket" meals come with a drink and a classic side, and though the crinkle fries are spud perfection, it would be a shame not to upgrade to a premium side to try the fried Wisconsin cheese curds. Though this is a Pepsi restaurant, they feature a wide variety of diet beverages, and a special Culver's rootbeer in regular and diet varieties. You won't miss the coke. You would be missing out however if you didn't sample the custard, which has less air than ice cream and is served at a slightly higher temp so it tastes "creamier." You can get just a scoop, but I highly recommend a concrete, which is a cup full of vanilla or chocolate custard with up to two mix ins, which are a long list of options like salted caramel sauce, brownie bites, cookie dough, and all your favorite candy bars. Culver's is maybe a dollar or two more than McDonalds per meal, but oh so worth it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fastfood bite in the Dawsonville area. read more

I have been waiting for this place to open. I went to them in Wisconsin and fell in love with the custard and friend cheese curds along with the butter burger. I came in on opening day and then again two days later. It lives up to my experience in Wisconsin and I am so glad we have a new option in Dawsonville. On the menu it shows the butter burger with two patties but you can ask for anything as a single and it will be only one patty. With the deluxe you get lettuce and ask as a value basket you get a side and drink, cheese curds or a premium side so a little higher bit worth it. The custard is awesome for it is so creamy and smooth. There is also a flavor of the day so check out what it is. You can get the custard as a milkshake, sundae or concrete mixer (think of it as a flurry). So many options and choices. Run over, support a new business and get a great fast casual meal. read more

Loved the place a change from all the other fast food burger joints. These burgers are cooked as you order them, order is delivered to your table hot and up together. Burgers are juicy and really good. Maybe a little more than the other burger fast foods but feel it is worth it. Keep up the great work CULVER's . Chili was very good also. Staff is very professional looking and sharp they offered up a Military Discount because of the Ball Cap I was wearing. They should post it at the door and be proud that they offer it. read more

This some sho nuff creamy ice cream. They call it custard up north. I say let em. The ice cream sundae was too rich for either of us to eat but it's not on account of not trying. The burgers were good well built things. A tad expensive perhaps but good tasting. The fish was another matter. It was greasy, over breaded and may have been pike as advertised but tasted no different than any other white fish. Service is agreeable and the play is spic n span clean. It's a fun place so I'm sure over time the joint will grow on us. They do s spirited drive through business that is both speedy and correct. I'll have to hand it to them . New place in Dawsonville right near the Outlet mall - crowded to bursting at 5:30 on a Sunday afternoon so the wife and I figured we would give the new place a try. The food was so-so, butter burgers were ok - kinda like what Steak and Shake used to be. Tried the green beans for a side, yup - should have known better. Ordered a double burger, got a single but the receipt showed a single so I should have paid closer attention at the counter. Wife had a custard concrete with brownie bites, forgettable. The drive through line looks like it would take about 20 minutes to make it through. Inside is pretty much as chaotic as you would think with a newly opened store. 1 drink station with multiple drinks out of order, no spoons or napkins out where you can get to them. Bottom line, I'll give them another try in 6 months when they have sorted out the new place crazies but the food really wasn't enough to draw me back. read more

The Culvers in Dawsonville has the BEST staff ever. I took my grand kids in there this past Wednesday (Nov 29) and I was greeted and treated professionally by every staff member in there. They made conversation when they brought me my food, offered to get utensils and napkins if needed, and even cleaned up some spilled beverage with nothing but smiles on their faces. The food and location is good. I don't remember the score for this restaurant. Fast food with a couple other options. I normally eat the Pork Tenderloin sandwich. It is very good. My husband usually eats the cheeseburger with french fries, delicious. The reason I gave 4 stars - the few times we've gone, the tables have been dirty. The floor isn't very clean. Because it is a fast food place, maybe we caught them at a bad time. Hopefully, the next time we go, it will be cleaner in the customer sitting area. read more

New place which just opened up in Dawsonville. My visit was a hit... after struggling a bit with the youngster at the register to get her to understand my order (which may have been because it's new) the food was very very tasty. Probably one of the best burgers I've had in a long while. They use the smash method which makes the patties nice and thin with an nice flavor crust to the meat. The Double Cheese Butter Burger was amazing and the old school crinkle fries were just right. When they get their people locked in it's going to be a great place. A lot different than most burger places around here and a nice addition. Come on CULVERS open up a few more locations. Go and enjoy. read more

My big bro talks about Culvers when he visits the states they're in, but now we have them in Georgia so I thought I would give them a shot. It's pretty far from the city, either the North GA Outlets or Newnan, so it's a haul but it's worth a try. The burgers were good and the side options are good as well. The fries are just crinkle cut fries, so no biggie, but their onion rings and their fried cheese curds were good. Now on to the serious stuff; their custard. I had a mini concrete with salted caramel cookie dough and another person got the malt. Both were awesome! Frozen custard is where it is at! It is better than Cheeseburger Bobby's frozen custard, but you have to factor in the drive if you live far from Culver's. I'll definitely go back when I go to AMP or the North GA outlets again! read more

Got the mushroom and swiss butterburger and it was great! Fries were "meh" and I kind of wish I had substituted something else in place of them but I know better for next time. The Reese's Concrete Mixer (basically a custard milkshake mixed with Reese's) definitely made up for the lackluster fries though! Great place to eat! I love their food here. I mean, they have never once served my food the way I ordered it, but the fact that the employees are always professional and polite, and the food is so delicious, I can over look the consistent errors in my order. When I say errors, I order my burger with ketchup, mustard,lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles. They never give me mustard and always give me mayo. I don't usually send it back. I figure it isn't a huge deal. The cheese curds are okay, not that great. They seem more rubbery than stretchy. But the fries and onion rings are great. The custard is soooo good! The burgers are excellent, The place is always clean too which is great. I guess if I had to complain I would say that they are situated directly between Zaxby's and Captain D's. So it's a always a difficult choice! LOL! read more
