    Walleye Sandwich & fries

Thought I'd try the Walleye sandwich, it's ok but I personally prefer the cod. I also noticed they've added To Go parking for pickup orders.

Single Culver's Deluxe w/ cheese curds

Pretty clean location. Quick service and they bring the food to your table without expecting any sort of tip. Cheese curds are great. Burgers are tasty and about what you would expect from a fast food joint. Overall, great spot to grab a quick bite and a dessert, to replenish your calories prior to going shopping at the outlets.

Manish is the man! Lol. He has excellent customer service and we were very happy with our food!!!

Manish was our cashier and he made our experience an awesome one! I have never heard of Culver's and we wanted to try this establishment out, and we did. I got the Wisconsin Melt and hubby got the Patty Melt. We also fot the tomato soup and the cheese custard. Everything was wonderful!! I also ordered a vanilla custard which I will be taking that to go! This is new favorite establishment!!!!

Deluxe bacon butter burger with crinkle fries.

Yum! This is the first Georgia outpost of the Wisconsin based pseudo-fastfood restaurant featuring Midwestern beef butterburgers, fried cheese curds, and decadent frozen custard concoctions. Yes, you'll have to travel up to Dawsonville to find this spot, but it's worth it (and just barely north of the North Georgia Premium Outlet Mall). They're called butterburgers not because the never frozen beef is drenched in the stuff, but because the rich bun is perfectly buttery toasted before receiving its crown of beef. And that butter comes from one Wisconsin dairy farm. The "basket" meals come with a drink and a classic side, and though the crinkle fries are spud perfection, it would be a shame not to upgrade to a premium side to try the fried Wisconsin cheese curds. Though this is a Pepsi restaurant, they feature a wide variety of diet beverages, and a special Culver's rootbeer in regular and diet varieties. You won't miss the coke. You would be missing out however if you didn't sample the custard, which has less air than ice cream and is served at a slightly higher temp so it tastes "creamier." You can get just a scoop, but I highly recommend a concrete, which is a cup full of vanilla or chocolate custard with up to two mix ins, which are a long list of options like salted caramel sauce, brownie bites, cookie dough, and all your favorite candy bars. Culver's is maybe a dollar or two more than McDonalds per meal, but oh so worth it. Highly recommend if you're looking for a fastfood bite in the Dawsonville area.

Culvers is now in GA and even mentions it on the cups.

The burger and tater tots were also very good. The menu offers a wide variety of specialty burgers with plenty of customization options, including grass-fed beef for a small upcharge. Fair prices for the quality and quantity of food--definitely left in a food coma. Service: Service was efficient and the food came out well-prepared. No major issues during the visit. Atmosphere: Located in downtown Dahlonega, making it easy to explore nearby shops and dessert spots before or after your meal. The tavern has a darker, eclectic vibe with artwork, punk music, and a slightly edgy feel. The décor fits the restaurant's origins and personality, though the lighting--including in the restrooms--is quite dim. Parking downtown can be somewhat difficult during busy times.

I asked for some Tabasco sauce to help make the sandwich more palatable to eat, instead of being brought a bottle like most restaurants would give you they gave me a condiment cup full of Tabasco sauce, too much for anyone to use. When the bill came for an extra 50 Cent charge for it, I didn't fight it because it was 50 Cent and I just wanted to leave, but it was frustrating. I've never been charged for condiments / hot sauce at a restaurant I'm giving two stars because the server was nice and patient while we figured out what my little one needed to order she had to come back to the table a couple times, but they should have mentioned the surcharge for the hot sauce at the time that I requested it. Would I come back here again for a meal, no. Would I consider coming back to try a cocktail, maybe, only because overheard the bartender speaking to some patrons quite passionately about the flavors which they put together so I would give this part. Another chance even though the kitchen has lost my confidence,

Against our better judgment, we went with Whataburger's Dawsonville location. This might be my first review for them on Yelp, but it is not the first time there and all three times in the space of almost a year have been equally terrible. Let me put it in perspective... I spent several years of my childhood in Texas, where Whataburger is about as much as an iconic institution as Atlanta's Varsity. Imagine growing up and moving east where there's no Whataburger in your state. And then imagine joining the campaign to bring Whataburger here. Let's change that and take a native Georgian who grew up eating at The Varsity, who then moved to Texas, went YEARS without that nostalgic taste and the memories associated with it. Then, let's say someone decides to open a Varsity franchise in Houston Metro AND COMPLETELY DISGRACE THE MEMORIES OF YOUR CHILDHOOD. That's pretty much what the Dawsonville location has done all three times we've eaten there. I can only assume that they just don't care. It's not only that all three times the food has been old and cold... it's not only that the first time I ordered there for a pickup, and they let me sit for 30 minutes before handing my mysteriously lost order, with no offer to remake the old, cold, stale food... it's also that consistently all three times, the orders have been horribly wrong. As you can see from the picture, I ordered two double whataburgers, both with bacon, one with jalapeno, one without, and both with letttuce, tomato, onion, pickles and mustard, even though you can't see that part. We paid for the up charges. Total was $51 and some change. Pretty sure what I ended up with was not $51 worth. What I got, was three burgers... only one with bacon, all three with only ketchup. The handy thing about Uber Eats is that you can watch in real time where your delivery person is. Poor dude sat at that location for almost half an hour. Maybe he had dinner while he was there, I don't mind. But I'm 100 percent positive that he did not assemble or pack the order. So clearly he was not the issue. So not only did they get the order horribly wrong, but they made a guy who depends on tips, wait. Yes, we still tipped because we knew it wasn't his fault. And I know Dawsonville isn't a hub of activity at midnight on a Thursday morning, so I'm pretty positive they weren't just swamped, which was the excuse I got the first time my order was left sitting and also incorrect. At this point, I'd rather see that location shut down than allow them to further disgrace an iconic Texas institution. We won't be going back and I'll be sure to share my review on that location.

The bread pudding was delicious last night, and the servers were so friendly even with our arriving later in the evening. The breakfast this morning was glorious. We sat on the balcony, which is totally worth waiting an extra 10 minutes if you're wondering. But the wait time was definitely an overestimate and we got called in 15 minutes sooner than expected. He was busy even though the restaurant wasn't full. Poor guy. My hubby ordered the muffaletta and wasn't impressed. He ate it though. He loved his Abita root beer. I decided to order from the side menu and I'm so happy I did. The andouille sausage was grilled and tasty. The maque choux was amazing. Think Mexican corn with a Louisiana twist. Perfection!! The loaded grits were also wonderful- chocked full of gouda, bacon, and green onions. Delicious! The gumbo was thick like a stew. The flavor was smoky and sublime. My only beef is instead of all gumbo, the cup was filled mostly with rice... topped with gumbo. Overall we enjoyed our dinner. However, due to the pace of things, the underwhelming sandwich and perception of getting shorted on the chicken and gumbo. I wouldn't hesitate to swing by and order a maque choux to go as a snack except they charge $1 for the to-go container.
