Great new Breakfast & Lunch Spot in Cumming near Roosters in the stand alone building where the Bbq place used to be. They did a beautiful job with the place, very bright and airy. Service was fantastic, everyone was upbeat and attentive. The food was incredible, great biscuits & gravy. Even the scrambled eggs were delicious. I home to come back for lunch soon.

Rendezvous Cafe is such a gem in Cumming. Their pastries are baked in-house daily (and you can…read moreabsolutely taste the difference), and all of their sandwiches and café offerings are made fresh to order. Everything feels thoughtful and high quality, not rushed or mass-produced. On top of that, their customer service is phenomenal -- friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help you decide or make recommendations. Their seasonal drinks are always on point, especially the Valentine's raspberry truffle latte, which was chef's kiss. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

This place I thought would be amazing with the reviews but I'm genuinely concerned. The system in…read morethe cafe is weird everyone is scrunched up I didn't feel comfortable talking because we were so close to the other table. Ambiance is way too crapped if you're claustrophobic you're probably not going to be able to stay here. System is whack because the drinks aren't on the menu you have to GET UP and go up and figure out what drink you want. Then they can only make it one way you can't asked for something cold/hot. Not to mention the floors were nasty, tables not wiped, and in general I hated the experience. The food looked like something you heat up in the microwave. Specially the croissant because it looks like jimmy deans croissants from Walmarts freezer section. Then to top it all off there was a 12-14 INCH HAIR PIECE In our food. I was disgusted. The chai latte tasted like straight up cold milk with some cinnamon on top. I've had tons of chai in my life but by far that one was the worst. I wouldn't come back and I pray that they get everything back in order. I see the business owner replied to my review. I will like to say as a customer if I share a review then I truly believe that things should be fixed, not excuses or "seen footage". If I had Gotten all the way up and went to the counter and said "I just found a 12-14 hair piece in my food" things still would not have changed due to us already being done with our experience and wanting to leave . Now with the cleaning situation there was tons of food under the tables and the tables weren't wiped. No one came to clean at all so the comments on the cleaning was way off for me, everyone was working BEHIND The counter. I also believe with the drinks I am not talking just about the Tiramisu Latte. I originally was not planning on getting the Tiramisu but when I asked for something else hot they said only iced. And no it is not a personal preference of a Chai latte a Chai latte should not taste like cold milk with cinnamon dust. Thank you for taking time to reply to my review. We also did NOT finish our food and the "seen footage" accusations is a bit harsh. As a Yelp Elite member it is important to be 100% REAL with my reviews. I take passion and respect for every business out there but I genuinely am concerned, especially with how defensive the owner is to my review. The rude server at the front also made us not feel comfortable coming up and doing something. Now seeing how the owner is acting I am even more worried.. A chai is suppose to be BROWN not PURE WHITE. If you truly looked at the footage you would've seen me pull that long hair piece out.

Our server, Mikayla, was attentive and sweet, and made sure we were good without hovering. I didn't expect such good service because it was super full in there as we went for Easter Brunch . The first time I came, I had a different server and didn't have the best experience, so I was a little unsure about coming back but this visit changed that. I feel a need to mention that the hosts were amazing . There was a older man i did not get his name but i got the girls name, Trinity. She has been there both times i've came and is always welcoming, and helpful, which really sets the tone. The dim lighting and comfortable seating also made the experience even better. Side note: the "Loaded Pancakes" was really good and worth trying. Overall, a much better experience this time around . I'd come back again.

There were nine of us--not exactly a tiny table, but hardly the kind of group that should throw a restaurant into chaos. To be fair, we did wait for two people in our party before ordering food. It was probably 20-30 minutes, and we made it very clear to our server that we were waiting. We also weren't just camping out at the table. We started with drinks while we waited, so the restaurant was already making money from our table before the kitchen ever had to cook a single thing. Once everyone arrived, we placed one order together. No staggered tickets, no special requests, no unnecessary complications. The thing is... the restaurant was practically empty. If anything, I would've thought they'd be happy to have a table of nine on a slow brunch. Instead, it felt like we were an inconvenience. Once we finally ordered, it was another 30-plus minutes before much of anything happened. Our waitress wasn't rude, but she also wasn't particularly interested in us being there. She checked the boxes, but just barely. It felt less like hospitality and more like someone waiting for the end of their shift. What made the whole experience even stranger was looking around the restaurant. It wasn't busy, yet several employees seemed to be standing around talking while we sat waiting. During the hour or two we were there, I think only a couple of other parties came through the door. At one point there were two hostesses managing what amounted to a trickle of guests while tables that were already seated waited on drinks, food, and attention. Maybe there's more going on behind the scenes than I could see, but from where we were sitting, it felt less like they needed more people and more like they needed to use the people they already had a little better. Then came the mimosas. These were less mimosas and more "suggestions of citrus." It was basically champagne with a couple thoughts of orange juice. At one point we had to ask for more orange juice just to get it to the legally recognized definition of a mimosa. They tasted like champagne that heard flavored sparkling water was popular and decided to reinvent itself. There was a whole lot of "mim" and not much "osa." At nearly $14 each, I expected something a little more festive and a little less... chemistry experiment. For food, I ordered the Fried Green Tomato Benny: two biscuits, fried green tomatoes, poached eggs, Cholula hollandaise, and fresh fruit. On paper, that's a fantastic brunch. In reality, it was aggressively average. Nothing was quite hot enough. The biscuits had crossed that invisible line between baked and overbaked, where every bite makes you wonder if they're fresh or just committed to the bit. The whole dish felt like it had spent just a few too many minutes waiting for someone to remember it existed. And then there was the fruit. You know the kind of fruit bowl where every piece somehow tastes exactly the same because it's been sitting in the same juice for hours? That's what this was. Cheap melon, tired grapes, and enough pooled juice to ensure every bite shared the same identity crisis. To top it all off, the Benny was around $18, and the mimosas were pushing $14 each. I'm not going to call it a scam because words have meanings. Nobody tricked us. The prices were right there on the menu. We knew exactly what we were doing. We just expected the experience to justify it. On the bright side, the restaurant looks like it was designed by someone who has never met food, but has definitely met Pinterest. And honestly, it shows. Modern farmhouse, soft lighting, curated everything--it nails the aesthetic. Which is great, because you'll have plenty to look at while everything else catches up. It's funny how common this is now: it's easier than ever to make something look finished. You can polish the surface until it feels complete, even when the inside still isn't. Anyway--great aesthetics. The rest feels like it's still figuring itself out.

I attended a Woofstock event at the Cumming city center this weekend and stumbled upon this charming bakery, cafe, and tea room. After ordering some freshly baked pastries from the bakery side we decided to have lunch. My sister ordered the chicken and waffles and loved the kick of the hot honey sauce. The chicken was well cooked breast meat and had a delicious crispy coating. The peach iced tea was light and refreshing, but not syrupy or cloyingly sweet. My egg salad sandwich was flavorful and the bread was fresh. My side salad was also really good and not just some iceberg lettuce and a mealy tomato. I swapped out the standard dressing for a little bleu cheese and it was worth the extra calories. I recommend this place if you are in the area.

Redevelopment is necessary on the customer service end. It's a bit chaotic and if the restaurant wasn't fully up and running I'd be more forgiving. However, it's over a month since opening and they're no longer in the soft opening stage so the constant changes are a bit exhausting. They've changed everything from the checkout process, bakery basket (it was complimentary), and hours of operation. My last visit was quite pleasant. I enjoyed my brunch, and everyone seemed to receive the food well. Plus, my server was very welcoming and present. However, my visit today was the opposite experience. The server arrived 15 minutes after I was seated, it took another 15 minutes for my order to be placed, and roughly 20-25 minutes before my food arrived and it was bussed by multiple staff members. They were short staffed but considering the restaurant wasn't extremely busy it was a bit annoying to wait so long. Also, everything was out of stock... the grenadine syrup for the Shirley Temples and cocktails, the hot honey for the chicken... my OJ even came out late because they were waiting for more clean glasses out of the dishwasher. It was simply unorganized and I probably won't return until the reviews suggest things have improved.

My belly would not allow me to reach for my camera after first visualization. The pizza was heaven at first bite. Perfect undercarriage while fresh ingredients cooked to perfection on top.
