Well, Cheeseburger Bobby's did not disappoint! This was my first time at this location and thoroughly enjoyed my food as well as experience. How do I even describe a perfect tasting burger other than perfection?! I sat and watched the cook (name was Cordell) just grind out burgers during lunch time which was pretty busy. He didn't skip a beat, had a smile on his face and seriously took his job like the business was his baby. As you can see by the picture I posted, I really paid attention to detail by making sure the burger not only tasted as good as it looked, but looked good before you even took your first bite! That's a huge compliment, because most places just make burgers and then slide it onto the plate without paying attention to presentation. BUT NOT THE CASE WITH HIM! What was also amazing about this experience was the two employees behind the counter taking orders; Cat and Danielle (also goes by Danny). They were the only two working the front of house and were truly holding down the fort. When they were not taking orders, I saw them walking around cleaning tables, sweeping the floor, taking out trash, and straightening the condiments area all while watching the front and running back to the cash register when guests walked in. It was absolutely refreshing to see, especially in this current time we are in. They both worked very well together and did everything with a smile on their face. The entire crew working this shift seemed to work really well with each other. I've worked in the restaurant industry for many years before I moved into the corporate world, so I understand how much work goes into running the front of house. You are the face of the business, because your the first face that people experience when they walk in. The food can taste good, but if the employees in the front do not present a good experience then it can ruin the meal. The Good: The meat. My wife got the chicken tenders and they were absolutely amazing, easily some of the best we've tried! I got the Smokehouse Burger, and it's great if you like chewy bacon. The onion rings and plain french fries were such a negative stark contrast in taste and quality compared to the main course. Because I heard nothing but good things but I Personally will never go back did not think it was worth my money, Burgerking would have been better and tastier. Went for a birthday celebration. Workers were very very rude and unprofessional, none of them had a smile on their faces. Everything was dirty and had mold on it. A mom that had just ate their when I walked in was yelling at the workers "being on your phone is not going to get the job done" They were very slow when bringing the food out and very rude when dropped off. All of the workers were 15 probably in highschool and they had no idea what they were doing. Gross. Not going back ever again. First time there a few years ago they were great. Good food, cooked properly, decent portions for money. Now the quality of food is horrible. Preparation of food makes it barely edible. Portions for the prices are outrageous. Cleanliness is disgusting. It looked like the tables, drink area, or anything had not been cleaned or even wiped down in a week. And this was on what seemed to be a slow night. Soap dispenser barely puts out enough soap to wash hands properly. Watched employee collect all of the condiment bottles to put away for the night without wiping any of them off. As slow as the place is I find it hard to believe any of the condiments in the large bottles are close to being fresh since they seem to have went with extra large bottles to avoid having the refill them. Five Star Service! One of the things that I love about Cheeseburger Bobby's is that awesome fixin's bar that is always beautifully stocked. I know that COVID has taken away these types of things at so many places but the fixin's bar remains at Cheeseburger Bobby's! You're given your own one use tongs when you receive your order and those tongs get placed in a "used" bucket when you finish. Awesome job! This has got to drive up their labor costs and I guess supply costs too because they have a sign on the garbage cans asking you to please not throw away the tongs. I guess there are some idiots out there throwing the damn things away after using them. The gentleman that gave us the tongs gave us his name and told us to ask for him if we need anything. He then walked around giving out peppermints from his gloved hands while another fellow walked around replenishing french fries-nice extra. We were in the area and hubby wanted a burger. Therefore, we decided to head to Cheesburger bobby's because they also had veggie burgers. Staff is extra friendly and we were able to dine in. I like the fact we're able to choose our toppings and sauces. We order. Pay. Get a buzzer. Once our food is ready, they give us a tong to use to pick up toppings at the bar. I was happy to see jalapenos and banana peppers. More sauces than I thought to choose from. I like that. Hubby got the smokehouse burger and I just got the spicy bean burger. I chose that over the veggie burger. The burger is plentiful and delicious. Hubby got regular fries while I opted for onion rings. There is so much fries and the rings were huge! So full eating. I was there yesterday. You walk in and have to wait for someone to notice that you're at the counter(not the first time this has happened). This location has gotten so run down since it opened. The hand sanitizer dispenser by the restrooms doesn't work. The soap dispenser in the men's room doesn't work. The restroom felt like it hasn't been cleaned in a few weeks. The decor is looking worn and somewhat nasty. The drink station is always a mess. I noticed they have their mayo in squeeze bottles now sitting on the tables. Isn't that supposed to be refrigerated? To top it off, there was a hair in my fries that clearly wasn't mine. I used to love this place but, yesterday was my last time for the Cumming location. read more

Lovely folks. Came in 6 minutes before closing (didn't even realize how late it was) and they were so sweet to make burgers for me & my starving husband. Always wondered about stopping at Bobby's because let's face it... who doesn't like a good burger? We usually will treat ourselves to a five guys burger and fries or chili's but finally we stopped at Bobby's because it was on the way... first of all, just know it's a different set up. Secondly, the burger and fries tasted amazing! They cook your burger and patty and whatever else that needs to be grilled on the grill, then they give you the burger and patty and you get to top it with whatever your heart desires from their toppings/dressings bar! I tend to love more lettuce and tomato on my burger and man, it was nice to put my own amount of toppings on there! OMG!!! These folks don't even rate ONE STAR, but Yelp won't ALLOW you to post with no stars! & I USED TO LOVE this place! It USED to be good... but TONIGHT IT WAS BEYOND HORRIBLE! It started off with the fact that the cashier forgot to give me a cup for my drink for my meal I ordered & it just went downhill from there..... (& she seemed perturbed that I had the audacity to ask her to do her job and give me a cup!) Then, we had the pleasure of waiting for what seemed FOREVER for our meals... the lady WHO ORDERED AFTER US was complaining too (even BEFORE WE DID) Then, when we noticed a large amount of water on the floor, IN THE MIDDLE OF A WALKWAY, where someone could SLIP on it & REALLY HURT THEMSELVES, we told one of the employees. To her credit, she went and got a "wet floor" sign right away... BUT THEN THEY LEFT IT THERE FOR OVER A HALF HOUR! (& it didn't even COVER the water... they just sat it down NEXT to the water... for people to STILL SLIP ON! I GUESS THEY NEVER HEARD OF A MOP?!?!?) After waiting forever and a day for our food, the fries were COLD & ALL THE FOOD was OVERCOOKED! (to the point of being ALMOST INEDIBLE!) So when I asked if we waited so long to wait for the fries to get cold, they asked if I wanted them to drop a new batch of fries for me? ... "yes, please" I said. Within SECONDS, she slopped another batch of COLD fries down next to the current cold fries.... apparently the ones sitting right next to them... COLD and ALL STUCK TOGETHER IN A WAD! NOT NEW FRIES DROPPED and then delivered to the table once they were ready, as it SHOULD HAVE BEEN! Then, as we watched ALL of the employees gossiping & chit chatting in the back, a customer had to come to the back to ask them to come up front to take their order. (& the floor STILL HADN'T BEEN CLEANED UP - BUT THEY HAD TIME TO CHIT CHAT & PLAY AROUND IN THE BACK!!) A few minutes later, I got up to refill my sweet iced tea.... NO ICE! (apparently doing their jobs is simply TOO MUCH to ask of this crew!) so I just added more tea to the very little ice I had left... took a drink & nearly CHOKED ON IT because it WAS NASTY & FERMENTED (I THEN realized WHY one canister was pulled forward & the other one was pushed back the first time I got my drink..... apparently a customer before me did that for the next poor customer that came along.... but an employee just PUSHED THEM BACK IN THE SAME LINEUP, INSTEAD OF CHECKING THEM, TO MAKE SURE THEY WERE BOTH [OR ANY] WERE STILL GOOD - NO DATES/TIMES on any of them, either - like the health department REQUIRES). I DID get more tea from the other canister - it was still good - must have been the one I served myself from before - BUT NOW I HAVE TO DRINK HOT TEA WITH NO ICE! NOT ICED TEA! So I YELLED (yes, YELLED loud enuf for everybody to hear) to the chit chatting crew in the back that they had customers who wanted service up front & they wudn't have a job much longer because at the rate they were going, they would be going out of business soon. First time ordering from here I just don't understand all of the rave reviews. They got our order completely wrong the burgers were annihilated and had the texture of a hockey puck. The fries were soggy as if they have been left in the container for a day and a half and ice cold. I specifically asked for lettuce tomato and onion there was none I also ordered a half pound burger I got two small hockey pucks. I don't really have any positives about this place. We've been to several Cheeseburger Bobby's over the years - love their burgers and fries. I appreciate the variety of condiments and seasonings. This location takes the prize as the best of all! All the staff were so friendly, smiling and helpful. I'm not sure if the South African man owns or manages the restaurant, but he was on fire! So helpful, wiping the counter constantly, checking on the kitchen, smiling all the time. A lady made a big scene when she dropped her cup (she was holding it by the top without a lid) and he rushed right over to help her and apologized for her incident. Food was cooked perfectly. $8.88 for a cheeseburger meal with fresh fries and a drink. If we are ever up in Cumming again, we will definitely stop at this location! read more
