Congratulations to Vicky Lou's Burgers on 5 years of serving incredible food! I've been exploring new places to eat, but Vicky Lou's deserves more attention from me, especially since I never got around to posting about them when I lived in Cumming. Vicky Lou's menu has it all--burgers, sandwiches, wings, milkshakes--but the burgers are where they truly shine. My personal favorite is THE BOMB, a blue cheese lover's dream! It's loaded with grilled mushrooms, onions, blue cheese, bacon, pepper jack cheese, and their secret sauce, all on a perfect bun. Even if you're not a mushroom fan (like me), this burger will change your mind. The single patty is hefty and more than enough to satisfy, and despite everything being made fresh to order, the service is quick. On top of that, the folks here are incredibly friendly, which only makes the experience better. If you're anywhere near the north side of Georgia and craving a burger, make sure to stop by Vicky Lou's! #RoliEats #GoodEats #BurgerLovers #VickyLousBurgers #NorthGeorgiaEats #wherearetheburgers

Been by this place numerous times but today I had the opportunity to stop by. Big selection of Milkshakes, Burgers, Po'Boys, Wings, Salads, Plates, Sandwiches, Hotdogs plus Kids menu. There's a selection of a half dozen of each category or more. The owners have brought together a selection of food from their original locations, New Orleans and Wisconsin. Very nice and clean. Will definitely be back to try something else.

Great new restaurant with a diner feel. Small venue with about 6 tables (if memory serves me correctly). Just what the area needed! We decided to stop in since it's only 1.5 miles from our house. I can tell the proximity is going to be a problem. This is not fast food so be prepared to wait for your food to be cooked to order. Not a long wait, but definitely worth it. Our party of three had a bacon cheesburger, hamburger and a philly cheesesteak with fries. Can't forget the hand spun oreo milkshake - delicious! Everyone really enjoyed their meals. The philly was so good, the burger eaters even had several bites of it. The bread was so soft. Great location. Great prices. Great customer service - friendly, happy, smiling faces. We'll definitely be back!

Old, burnt hotdog on a stale bun. :(

Stale hotdog bun, burnt hotdog. This place is overpriced and disgusting. I wouldn't recommend. The cheesesteak is also terrible.

The food at this place is ok and it's nice that it's in a convenient location. My problem is, you never know when they are open. Their website says their open until 8 some days and 9 others but almost every time I've ever tried to get dinner there they are already closed. Tonight I started trying to call just before 7PM and no one answered. Got to the restaurant at 7:02 to find out they have already closed for the night. How do you expect to keep business if you're never opened? So disappointed!

Boudin balls are amazing and I love the hometown feel. Nice to have a locally owned restaurant nearby that is invested in the community.

My brother and nephew are in town and they looked this spot up for lunch, so we came by today…read more Plenty of parking, right off exit 16 on 400. We sat upstairs with a group of ladies playing mah jong which was cool to see. The host Gabby was nice, after greeting us we were seated in a booth and began looking at the menu. Our server was Taylor, who was friendly, helpful, and really good at her job. Never needed anything bc she was great! I started with one of their blackberry ciders, my brother got a sour. For an app we ordered a giant pretzel and it was delicious. Whole grain mustard and gooey cheese were served on the side. Hard not to want to eat more than one. For entrees I went with a Reuben with a side of tater tots. The Reuben was tasty, they shred the corned beef up so it's easier to eat, and you get consistent bites every time. Their 1000 island dressing is KILLER. It's definitely homemade and I ordered a side for my tots. Nephew got the salmon BLT with sweet potato fries, and my brother got the Philly cheesesteak with tots as well. Once he tried my suggestion of dipping in the dressing, he got a side as well. The GM Andrew came by and checked on us. Service level is great here, made us feel welcome and happy we were in here. Since I'm technically on the clock I had to head out after two ciders. I could see myself being here for hours, if I'm not careful. Support small owned businesses! Thanks to the team and especially Taylor for a great lunch today/

They do not brew their own beer (aka no beer flights) so not sure why they are called a brewery. This felt more like a restaurant. There were tons of seats, and it was very nice! The outdoor seating is downstairs (no elevator). The drink menu needs descriptions, not just names. The drinks we did have were great (strong & not overpriced). The old-fashioned had regular ice not the large square or ball ice like most old-fashioned. We did send the fish & chips back because the fish wasn't crispy. It was soggy & fishy. We did enjoy the house chips and atmosphere. We would give them another try.

If you are coming during your boat day I'd give this place a 4, coming to it off of dry land... a 3…read moreprobably. Pelican Pete's being on the water and making it easy to dock your boat and come on up is suuuper convenient. Who wants to pack a lunch and make room in the cooler? Nobody. That definitely means this place gets busy though. So prepare yourself for possibly a long wait. Some friends and I visited Saturday afternoon. We put our names in for our group (10 of us) and had a wait of an hour. Not horrible. We took a bathroom break and hung out at the boat until it was our time. Pro- the bathroom was surprisingly clean! Con- only 3 stalls so there was a significant line. When we sat down we had to wait a bit to get our orders taken which was a little annoying but there were lots of people there so I'm sure our server was swamped. She was friendly. The food was pretty good! I liked the dock burger that I got. I loved the sauce they put on it, paired really well with the carmelized onions. Fries were awesome! And I loved the Lava Flow drink as well. The way they brought out our food was not the greatest. They had a food runner bringing the plates out and asking the whole table "who ordered the _____" and some of us ordered the same thing without an ingredient so that was a lot of fun for a table of 10. Why not hire more servers and have them bring the food to their own tables? Much better idea especially for larger groups where they know who ordered what. Prices are a little high, especially for things like fish & chips. $24? Kinda weird. Not sure why a burger is $6 less than simple fried fish. Anyway. I know it's on the water and there are costs involved in that, so I won't harp on it too much. I'd happily come back because I enjoyed the food and love how easy it is to come up to it off the water. But it would be really nice if they had more bathrooms and knew who ordered what when they ran food. Oh and if they lowered the price of the seafood.
