Beers were cold and food was good. Saw they had a Wednesday special 25 wings and fries for $25! We came back today and got the special this time we mixed the sauces Bbq & Rooster Red together on all 25. Outstanding! Just the right amount heat with a little sweetness cooked with the perfect crisp. Ranch was on point. Service agian was great. Already looking forward to next Wednesday! lol read more

I stopped in at Roosters Bar & Grill and ordered 25 wings -- half barbecue, half hot -- with blue cheese. The flavor was solid, especially the hot sauce, but the wings themselves were tiny for the price. As someone from Buffalo, NY, (where chicken wings were invented and perfected) who takes wings seriously, I have to admit I was disappointed in the size of the wings. The place itself is your typical dive-style bar with plenty of indoor seating and some outdoor spots too. I've been here before and had a much better food experience, the wings were definitely larger, and more plump in years past. That said, the bartender was fantastic -- super friendly and even treated me to a free beer in the holiday spirit, which definitely lifted the experience. (I tipped her very well, was very sweet!) All in all, Roosters has great local charm and solid bar vibes, but if you're a wing purist, you might consider heading over to Good Old Days instead. I'd give it 3 out of 5 stars -- maybe 4 if those wings had a bit more meat on them, might be time to move on to a new wing supplier Roosters? read more

I would have given five stars if the hadn't screwed around with one of my favorites-their fries. They used to be larger in diameter and now they switched to shoestring size fries and they're terrible. They are so small that when cooked, they come out like a burnt tangled mess of strings. I'm hoping ppl complain and they bring back their original hand cut fries. read more

I really like the grilled tilapia, baked potato, and garlic bread here. The service has always been great as well, very friendly and your food arrives pretty quickly. Don't let the term "sports bar" deter you from coming; I'd actually describe most of the restaurant as a homey, country place without any television screens to annoy you (in other words, I rather like the ambience here). My one piece of advice to the management would be to please have real ingredients available: for example, real butter instead of the "48% vegetable oil whipped spread" or the oil and vinegar with oil that does not look or smell like olive oil or the captain's wafers with bioengineered ingredients. I realize this is not a health food restaurant, but these yucky low-quality condiments spoil the meal for me (eating dry salad and butterless baked potato is not fun). Stooped by with the wife today to satisfy a wings craving. Been coming here for years, and have never been disappointed. Our server was very sweet and took good care of us. I stepped out and did something I hadn't done before, and asked for hot lemon pepper, even though they aren't on the menu, and the kitchen knocked it out of the park! Many thanks to the staff in the back of the house! They were excellent and I don't think I'll order them any other way again. Wife had the burger and had no complaints. The fries are hand cut and very good. There were some screaming kids that made it super noisy, but that isn't the fault of the restaurant. I got a bowl of blue cheese to take home, as I am addicted to the stuff, and would like an IV slow drip of it. All in all, a great visit, and thank you Roosters for the great experience! read more

Once you get past the dimly lit room, peanut shells or something sticky on the floor, it really is a cool place. I had a hot dog with chili and added slaw, so basically a chili cheese dog with slaw. THE BEST RANCH AND BLUE CHEESE EVER! I'm just saying ranch is important y'all (so is blue cheese for those who prefer it). A good wing is accentuated by a good dip or ruined by a horrible one. Roosters knows what they're doing when it comes to their dips and their wings. I have never once been let down flavor wise. I would order their ranch by the gallon if my fridge at home wasn't tiny. Ok enough about the ranch (but really it's never enough seriously get the ranch)... You may or may not have a wait for a table, but you'll probably have a wait for service. It's a toss up lately and they get busy, but they're great and they're trying so please be patient. The wings are our go to so I can't say much about the rest of the food. We order ours extra crispy and extra wet and sometimes they need a side of sauce too but they're some of the best wings around. They are not giant wings by any means, but that's just fine with me. They taste 110% better than those giant wings some other places serve. Fresher. More real. I dunno. Roosters just does it right. Their fries are pretty good, their blt pasta salad is awesome, and I do know they have a solid steak sandwich. Now go for a good meal and don't forget to try the ranch! read more

First time eating there. We took our food to go. I wasn't expecting too much but this place exceeded my expectations. We got hot wings. They had a good bite to them. Love how they give you celery, carrots, & blue cheese that COME WITH IT, unlike other places around here. The blue cheese also looked homemade and was delish! We also got chicken fingers and fries. The fries were homemade and not some cheap frozen fries like most places. The chili was homemade and good. Almost tasted plain at first but then had a nice kick that gets you in the back of your throat. Definitely hit the spot. Will most certainly order this again. The cheesecake is homemade and so good!! Great food and great service. A locals place and good food. The wings are some of my favorite. The fries are greasy, but good too. I love their sauces and ranch dressing as well. A good place to share a bunch of wings. There is a dining area and a bar. They also offer takeout. Quite a few TVs and just a good sports bar atmosphere. The menu has wings, sandwiches, entrees, and appetizers. The grilled chicken strips are super good as well. The nachos are big enough to share and covered in chili. This is one of my favorite places to go in the area. It's located at the end of a shopping center and has a decent amount of parking. If in the area give Roosters a try it should be worth it! They also have one in Dahlonega if you are further north, but it's quite a bit smaller and kind of hidden. read more

First time in here but I heard it was pretty good. Got 10 wings - Red Rooster flavor (extra hot) which pretty good but not quite as hot as I was hoping. Something I've not seen much before was they came smothered in jalapeños which I thought was a bit odd and didn't add much to the dish. Further the celery/carrots weren't very fresh. Blue cheese was daily average as well, mostly ranch flavors rather than actual blue cheese Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. I grew up here, came to this place with my family since the 90s. Always the best wings and blue cheese. So I came in today and the waitress was in a hurry when she came over. I ask that the wings be tossed in the sauce not dry. She said that ordering med or hot would not change that. So the wings came with no sauce on them and all small drums but 1. Linda was sitting at a customers table talking instead of taking care of her table.I politely told her the wings were not right, she told me there was sauce on them and pointed at the one drum that I got and stated you got both. Then she kept getting louder and I ask for another waitress she then put her hand up in my face and continues with this bullying attitude. Finally Chloe a sweet girl comes over, she gets the manager. He fixed the wings brought more fries and they were like always the best wings ever. Chloe was a sweetheart. And Linda talking to anyone that would listen about how she told a customer off.
