Ssong's Hot Dog is located inside H-Mart. When you walk in, it's in the left side of the store. It's not on the right side with the rest of the food stalls. It's on the left side where all the pre-made foods are sold. They have a small stand there. Ssong's Hot Dogs sells Korean corn dogs and drinks. You order 1 dog at a time. They have Ssong's Premium, Mozzarella Cheese Stick, Mozz Sausage Stick, Spicy versions of those, and other sticks that are not sausage based like Fish Cake Sticks. The corn dogs are made to order. They fry it fresh right when you order. It takes about 10-15 minutes for the food to get ready. After they fry them up, you have an option to roll them in powdered sugar. I didn't mind the sugar. It gave the savory dogs another depth of flavor with the sweetness. These corn dogs are pretty good. They're probably the best I've tasted. The outer layer with the batter come out super crispy and flavorful. They nailed the batter with the texture and flavor. I don't know how they do it. The dogs are big. A hungry guy can eat 2 comfortably. For light eaters, 1 is probably enough. I would get a variety so you can try everything. I'm usually not a fan of cheese, but the cheese version is surprisingly good.

Located inside of H Mart but opposite side of the food court. Stumbled across this place as we were walking the store. Walked right up to order and waited about 15 minutes given the amount of orders they had. They make all orders fresh. We got the potato mozzarella sausage hot dog. Served in a cute box and the box even had a slit to keep the dog in place! They do have some sauces available on the counter that you can add to your dog however we didn't try. The dog is nice and crispy! Taste is very good but I'd say that it needs salt and maybe that's on purpose given there are sauces available but if you want to eat plain I think that salt would help with the overall flavor kick. Overall good and next time I want to try the mozzarella stick.

This new Korean hot dog stand just opened up a few days ago. I was sad when the other hot dog place here closed down during the pandemic, but so glad to see another Korean hot dog place open up in H mart duluth! I ordered 2 half mozzarella and half hotdogs as well as a misutgaru (korean sweet grain) slushie. This is by far the best half mozzy half hotdog I've had. Instead of just mozzarella on the top half and hotdog on the bottom half, this place does mozzarella, hotdog, mozzarella, hotdog, so you get that cheesy goodness in every bite. They will ask you if you want sugar on your hotdog when it's ready. I personally dont prefer the sugar, but to each their own. The misutgaru slushie was super sweet, but other than that it was pretty good. They provide sauces in little to-go containers as well. Can't wait to go back! Keep in mind that your order can take 10-15min depending on how busy it is. You can order your food, look around and continue shopping, and go back to check if your order is ready a few min before - said wait time. Hope this place does well!

The young lady that served me was very nice!! I got the half/half and crab hotdog. Which the both were good. I almost didn't find it because it was inside the h-mart. I had to ask the office which was nice to the eye! Lol where the place was. It was straight

This place is so cute. Located inside H Mart. There are so many options on the menu which is great so that there is something for everyone. The wait is not too bad. The hot dog is delicious and crunchy. They can be packaged in individual boxes. They also have teobokki and they are delicious.

Tried this new chain, located inside the Hmart supermarket on Pleasant Hill Rd. Duluth. The dough of the hotdogs were amazing! Dipped in the ddokboggi sauce tasted good. Very busy place, so I place my order and went for a quick grocery shopping.

Located inside of hmart Duluth. The stall is pretty small right next to all the kimchi and prep food. They have varieties of dog's; including the cheese, sausage or the classic hot dog. I do highly recommend this place but be aware of their drink size. They currently only carry one size cup and it's super small. All their drinks are good but for $3 the cup was tiny. Until next time!!! Peace

It was good I've had Korean corn dogs before and this was the exact same. The girl working there was very sweet and helpful and she even gave me a sample of the pear juice! would come back again for their combo dog and tteokboki

    They look amazing!

Alright, I was extremely disappointed today. The way they use the box and the holder is a great idea which holds the hot dogs (corn dogs) in place. The taste was exceptional, the crispiness was exceptional, the cheese pull was exceptionally good; however, I couldn't give it a better rating than a 2. Why? As soon as I went to take the dogs out of the box from its holder the stick came straight off the hot dogs. Now here I am which I have never done in my life holding a corn dog with my hands. My hands were greasy messy, and I have sugar plastered all on my fingers. Don't get me wrong it was finger licking good but that's the point of eating a corn dog not to have anything stuck on our hands and fingers. Perhaps next time 2 could be 5 because if he stick didn't had came off that would had been my rating!

Great place for a sweet drink while shop around. Will definitely try ddoekbokki next time

This restaurant soft-opened in March 2024 and officially opened in April 2024 in the old Breakers Korean barbecue space near the defunct Gwinnett Place Mall, and I-85 at Pleasant Hill Rd (exit 104). It's spacious, but can fill up quick. We arrived at noon on a Saturday and there were still plenty of open tables. However, by the time we left, shortly after 1pm, it was packed with people looking for tables. Someone jumped on our table as we were getting up to leave. This is not a sit-down restaurant. Instead, you order at one of two touchscreen kiosks at the entrance and then wait for your number to be called to pick up your food. Everything is self-serve, from condiments to hot broth. You also bus your own table. Here's what three of us got: B3. Heo [sic] Naengmyeon ($16.99) - spicy sweet potato starch noodles with raw fish (should be spelled "hoe") C3-B1. Naengmyeon and Yuk Jeon ($20.99) - cold sweet potato starch noodles and thinly sliced beef pancake C1-B1. Naengmyeon and Dwaeji Yang Nyum Gui ($18.99) - cold sweet potato starch noodles and grilled pork neck D4. Kimchi Son Mandu ($11.99) - handmade kimchi dumplings My wife and I love naengmyeon. We thought Naju's version was good, especially in this fast-casual format. To nitpick, the noodles stuck together and the ice melted too fast. Regardless, I found the noodles to be delicious, refreshing, and satisfying. The spicy version came with a small bowl of icy broth on the side. The raw fish, beef pancake, and grilled pork neck were all tasty and of decent quality. As for the handmade kimchi dumplings, they were legit. Big and filling. In addition to naengmyeon, Naju also offers a variety of Korean soups (e.g., seolleongtang - ox bone soup and gomtang - beef bone soup) and LA galbi (grilled short ribs). During our visit, the pickup counter was staffed by a bunch of ajummas (Korean middle-aged women), basically Korean lunch ladies. I'd come back. This place seems ideal for a quick stop for an easy and reliable Korean meal / comfort food.

I do not feel as though downtown Duluth truly captures the amazing food scene of the city, but again, an old friend did like it enough to tell me about it. Inside was pretty spacious. High ceilings and bright. You have to go up front and order, and they'll give you a buzzer to let you know when your food is ready. Pretty standard so far. It's not too loud, even with the music playing in the background, so not bad for hanging out with friends after the food is done, though we didn't. We were all pretty disappointed with our food. It wasn't bad, thankfully, it was just meh. We could've literally drove 5 minutes away for better, so we left as soon as we finished. The good thing is you get to choose what protein you want with your dish, which is nice. However, the chicken katsu here is thin. Also, the K-Fried chicken doesn't really mesh with the pasta. It's like a skewer on the side of your main dish. You can eat them separately and be happy enough. I was ok with the bulgogi, but I would've expected better from a Korean establishment. I haven't tried every single protein option, but I won't lie, tofu in pasta isn't the most appealing to me. For the main dishes, it was pretty bland, especially the omurice. You need the egg and the protein for flavor. The Schezwan pasta wasn't even spicy. At least the carbonara was creamy as it should be.

My partner and I came in around roughly 9:50-10pm. When we arrived we're were initially informed that we had to order soon because they were closing in 30 minutes and were understandings of that. Shortly after we were seated, (literally 1-2 minutes) about 3 employees came to our table letting us know we needed to order within the next few minutes. It was like 10:05. I tried asking one of the employee what the meat options were and was just interrupted by him being persistent in us ordering and did not really answer our questions, mainly because I noticed some of the meat options were pork and I do not consume pork for personal reasons. My partner and I felt overwhelmed and just ordered something we thought would not include pork. After submitting our order another employee came by with the check already without us asking insisting for us to pay before our food even came out. Mind you the restaurant closed within 20 minutes at this point. When our food did come out, it did contain PORK!!! We just left shortly afterwards and left the food on the table.

Even though it was crowded, our server was very friendly and attentive. They cooked the meat right at the table, which made the experience better. The fried rice (볶음밤) they made on the grill at the end, especially with the pork belly, was honestly the best part. Overall, really enjoyed it and would definitely come back.
