It'll be the first stall you see in that food hall. It's an open stall service and they bring out the food to you but it's not your traditional restaurant style place since it's a food hall. Now lets talk food. I ordered both the Chicago dog and my own home town Detroit dog. The Detroit dog or to put it appropriately, the coney dog, is a basic beef frank sandwiched in a loaf of white bread and had a scoop of beef chili, onions, and some shredded cheese. The beef franks here have a very clear snap which means it's cooked perfectly. The frank itself is seasoned beautifully, the chili is cooked great, though it's not as messy as a Detroit dog from Lafayette or American coney ought to be. But it was flavorful and dirty eating as hot dogs normally are which in this context is a satisfying thing. My other dog I ordered from here was the Chicago dog. Considering I never had a good and original Chicago dog before, I don't have much of a context on how to gauge it and for what it's worth, the way this place does it seems to be spot on. I will say that there is a lack of celery salt on the dog which from friends of mine who hail from Chicago state that it is celery salt that ties the dog together and it's the thread that marries all the flavors together. This version leans heavily on the acidic soury notes of the pickle and the peppers (though there's nothing spicy about these peppers either) to offset the fattiness of that rich beef frank. Between the acidic pickles and peppers, the savory notes from the beef frank, and the mustard, there wasn't much of a balance of flavors as this version of the Chicago dog leaned more on the sour side of things. It wasn't bad, but the lack of celery salt was something I wasn't expecting from a place that offered a Chicago dog. Overall, it tasted good for a regular degular hot dog from Chicago and they made a valiant effort in it. Overall, these dogs are pricey. We're talking between two dogs you're dropping $15+ on them and you'll finish them in roughly two to three bites. Is it worth coming to? If you're willing to drive to the Halcyon, which is 30-50 minutes from anywhere in the Greater Atlanta area, then sure... but come also because you want to chill at the Halcyon as well...

During this particular visit, however, we noticed several concerns that we wanted to bring to your attention. First, the restaurant floor was extremely wet and slippery. We are not sure what cleaning product is being used, but the floor remained wet for an extended period of time. We understand the importance of keeping the restaurant clean, but the floor should also be safe for customers and employees. We recommend ensuring that floors are properly dried after cleaning and that any cleaning products being used do not leave the surface excessively slippery. We also noticed that the dining area was unusually warm. It appeared that the air conditioning may have been operating in the back of the restaurant where the employees were working, but the front dining area did not seem to have adequate air conditioning. The only noticeable air movement in the customer seating area appeared to be from a ceiling fan running at a very low speed. The temperature made the dining experience uncomfortable. We ordered the snack tray meals three of them, which was seven dollars each. You could pick up to four items which is very affordable for a family. If you would like to upgrade to a shake, you can do so for additional dollar 50 the cheese curds are very good. The burgers are good as well. The chicken nuggets were decent. The fries were good the okra you get a nice portion of it but it needs a little bit of seasoning on the okra. In our opinion a little salt, pepper, and or seasoned salt is needed. In addition, my husband used the men's restroom and noticed that there was no soap available in the restroom. There were also gnats/insects present in the restroom area. While we did notice a sink with a soap dispenser in the restaurant lobby, customers using the restroom should not have to leave the restroom to find soap. Because this is a restaurant serving food to the public, proper sanitation and cleanliness are extremely important. Restrooms should consistently be clean, stocked with soap, and free of insects. We would strongly recommend that management implement regular restroom checks throughout the day to ensure that soap and other necessary supplies remain available and that the area is properly cleaned and maintained. We want to emphasize that the food during our visit was hot and fresh, and the employees we interacted with were friendly. These concerns are specifically related to the conditions we observed during this visit. We have been to this location multiple times, and this was the first time we noticed these particular issues with the air conditioning, slippery floor, and men's restroom. We are sharing this feedback because we believe these matters can be addressed and improved. We appreciate your attention to these concerns and hope they will be reviewed with the appropriate management and staff to help ensure a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for customers. The milkshake was also thicker than I expected and was more like ice cream than a traditional shake. Overall, it was a good experience, and I'll definitely be back to give them another try.
