The chicken biscuits are my favorite item to get at this restaurant. I love adding honey too so it's a great a combination with the crispy fried chicken and the buttery soft homemade biscuit. The reason I didn't give it a 5 star was the quality of the place settings. The utensils were plastic and the meal was placed on paper plates. If I'm sitting down at a restaurant, I would expect not to eat on to go plates and utensils. But hey, just my thought. I also wasn't a fan of the hash brown casserole as I was hoping for one a bit crispier. However, I will continue to go for their chicken biscuits. I really wanted to love this place. It's a super cute down home atmosphere and they have a drive thru! I love when restaurants like this have drive thrus! Unfortunately, the food is just not it. Country ham is inedibly salty. Two bites and I couldn't eat anymore. Hash brown casserole is complete mush, like no hash brown casserole I've ever had. Could literally be mashed potatoes. Eggs are exceedingly average. The one thing that was great, however, was the biscuit. Which is nice considering the name. It's huge and fluffy and one of the better tasting biscuits I've had. Sadly friendly service and a great biscuit isn't enough to save the place so I don't think I'll be back. read more

Fagan's biscuit barn is usually busy in the morning every time we drive by. We decided to drive thru to pick up some breakfast this morning and it's busy with many cars in the drive thru and in the parking lot. I have only been inside and this is the first time ordering drive thru. There were a few cars in front of us, but the line moved relatively quick. We were in front of a large menu board with breakfast items on the left and lunch on the right. I ordered a biscuit bowl with grits and sausage (egg and cheese on top). You can also choose bacon as your protein and gravy instead of grits. I also ordered biscuit with plain gravy. After ordering, you pay at the first window. The cashier hands you a clipboard with the credit card machine attached to the end of it so it's hands free! She had on a mask and gloves. Then, you pick up your food from the second window. They are both composed of basic breakfast items. Biscuits are large and fluffy, the gravy is rich and creamy. The bowl had good ratio of all the items and each bite was balanced. I really liked that they had a drive-thru, which is almost always wrapped around the building. I decided to wait in line and it moved pretty quickly. The wonderful experience started from the get-go. The young lady taking my order was extremely friendly and helpful. She guided me through my options as it had been a while since I've visited here. My Feast Regular order came out promptly - scrambled eggs, sausage, grits, and of course the famous biscuit! Nothing disappointed, although my grits might've needed a bit more flavor. It was much better than I remembered it to be and I no longer think that Cracker Barrel is better lol the only real issue I had was that I had a mobile order but was told I had to wait in the long line at the register just to pick it up even though I was looking right at it on the counter next to the lady. The people serve you promptly with a smile whether you're inside or in the drive thru and they always sound like they're having an amazing day. I'm a big fan of Fagan's Biscuit Barn. Been coming here for years. The food is simple yet good! The Barn is super cute. They also have some outside seating available. Staff is great. They are friendly, fast, and helpful. Everything is very reasonably priced and portions are good. Some of my favorites Biscuit bowl with chicken sausage- you can get it with grits or gravy. You can also get a regular sausage, bacon, etc for your protein Breakfast burrito- comes with a salsa verde Chicken biscuit Biscuit and gravy Cheesy hashbrowns Don't forget to ask for jelly and honey to top your biscuit The drive thru line gets long but it shows how popular this place is. Love how they give your pup in the car a dog biscuit. My pup loves it! The menu board in the drive-thru is sometimes hard to see because of the sun. Finally had an opportunity to try this business on Saturday morning. They have limited hours because of the type of food they serve, so I haven't really had much opportunity to go by. Saturday I stopped on the way home because I had to go into the office for a couple of hours and I went through the drive-through and picked up a steak biscuit and the biscuit and gravy. The biscuit is by far one of the worst I've ever had. It was dry the outside of the consistency of a hamburger bun and the country fried steak was over cooked. Had a craving for a biscuit and of course, this place came to mind. Located pretty prominently (it's a barn) on Peachtree Parkway--- it's hard to miss! I was the only car in the drive-thru upon arrival around 10:45am. I placed my order for a platter which included a 2 eggs, choice of hashbrown casserole or fruit, meat choice, and biscuit. I chose the chicken tenders and hashbrown casserole as they were highly recommended. About 15 minutes later my order was ready! :) There were several cars behind me at that point that had also placed their order so it's apparently very popular. When I checked my food, my eggs were cooked perfectly over medium, the biscuit was a large drop biscuit, and the hashbrown Casserole looked amazing, but my chicken tenders were a little smaller (fit in a side to go pocket a piece) and not hot...so I'm wondering why 15 minutes? I didnt mind the wait...but just wondering... Lol My food was delicious when I got home so everything checked out as far as flavor. Again my average rating is for the size of my tenders and temp of the food for the amount of time waiting. The wait did NOT bother me, but let's make sure its hot/fresh :) At $10 for "home cooking" breakfast food, it was an overall good visit. Good in a world unto itself, until you venture out. I've been visiting Fagan's for many moons since they opened this newer spot, which is on their family's farming property that has been in this very spot for about 200yrs. That being said, if you've only come here for breakfast, then you'd think this was the end-all-be-all for biscuits and lunch type items. Once you try other places somewhat local, then you'll quickly learn that Fagan's has slipped a bit over the years, and I think it comes down to cost-savings. I remember Fagan's biscuits being about the same size, but now the insides of the biscuit remind me of cafeteria style "sheet" bread. Maybe they've change their recipe, and they are NOT bad by any stretch, but they are definitely different from what they once were. Their gravy once had more flavor to it as well, and maybe this is to cater to more palates in the area. Who knows? No one comes for breakfast at a biscuit place and expects deconstructed filet mignon on a crostini here. People expect consistency over the years, and it is my opinion that Fagan's is slipping. Now, that being said, I can say that I will never give up on Fagan's because it is a local business that needs our dollars, AND my gut sometimes needs a boring breakfast after all of the hoighty toighty 3rd world meals that I consume. They are consistent in their service, and frankly, it's convenient to my place of employment. The area can be aggravating to get around in because of all the different types of people fighting for the same piece of real-estate, but it's worth supporting the locals versus a chain any day of the week. read more

PISSEDDDD!!!!!! Just got my food thru Uber eats and I am outraged!!!! Not only is this the tiniest chicken salad sandwich. But it doesn't even have the lettuce and tomatoes on it like the picture and the description says! It's just a dry@$$ toasted chicken and celery sandwich! I asked for ketchup and mustard and the bag is empty!! No sauce to even spice up this dry thing!! I wish my whole review could consist of just "yum" but I know I must provide some detail here so allow me to explain in a clear and succinct manner- 1) we came for breakfast on a Saturday morning at around 10:15 am and the parking lot was FULL (no spots) and the drive through was wrapped 2 times around the restaurant. 2) Yes, you read that right, there is a freaking drive through. 3) The biscuits are huge and so fluffy and piping hot. 4) The service is fantastic, at each window of the drive through they repeat your order to make sure they got it right. 5) We ordered 2 plain biscuits, 1 biscuit with scrambled eggs, tomato, turkey sausage and cheese, 1 biscuit with scrambled eggs, tomato and cheese, 2 coffees, 1 banana pudding and we paid 16$. YEP. that's it! 6) The banana pudding was easily the best I've ever had. Easily.
