When I get that brunch text from friends, I don't even look where we're going because I am automatically in! This was my first time visiting a First Watch, and I left the restaurant so blissfully content that I actually forgot my keys! Don't worry, they kept them safe for me and I got them back next day. The service was fantastic, and our server was so sweet and patient with us. She never once made us feel rushed or guilty for hanging out and chit chatting. We are "ladies who lunch", after all. Just kidding, it was Sunday and we have full time jobs and barely find time to meet up on weekends. Anyways, back to First Watch. As soon as we sat down, I just went straight out with it and said, "I'm craving donuts!!" Lucky enough, one of their seasonal menu items just so happens to be their Holey Donuts which are little cinnamon sugar dusted cake donut holes with chocolate sauce and a warm mixed berry compote for dipping. Needless to say, I was in donut heaven. For my main dish, I ordered the BLTE which is a classic BLT but with two over-hard eggs, cheese, and mayo on artisan whole grain bread. I LOVED it. It was the perfect amount of saltiness that was needed after those donut holes. Originally, I went in thinking I was going to try one of their fresh juices but I was coerced into getting a brunch cocktail. Honestly, as soon as this drink hit my lips all regret went away - it was the Spiked Lavender Lemonade with New Amsterdam 5X distilled vodka, lemon, cane sugar, butterfly pea flower tea and a hint of lavender. My new favorite cocktail. I'm ready to go back again this weekend!

Ample parking, well lit, clean floors, great menu options, superior service. What more can you ask for? This place hit a home run with the ambiance and energy that matched my thought process. My server Hamza was engaged and direct. I ordered a morning mediation and a morning market veggie omelette with roasted zucchini, onions, crimini mushrooms tomatoes, roasted peppers, whipped up into a cage free egg omelette. Everything was exceptional. I realized that the energy you bring into a dining experience can sometimes constitute how your rating will be. Make your day equal to how you want to feel inside. Good food feeds the spirit Cheers

Another good brunch at First Watch. We added a new dish today...Breakfast Tacos. Plentiful and yummy like everything else we have tried.

AM Superfoods "bowl" to go. :(

Over $13.00 for a small cup of chia seed pudding and cold toast. Come on First Watch, you can do better on to go orders. I've had this breakfast before in the restaurant, and there are better ways of presenting/serving than this. I expected a to-go BOWL like it's done in the restaurant, not a tiny cup. There are bowls used at Açaí bowl places like Playa Bowls. This small cup is unacceptable.

I usually love first watch and never have any issues however this location reallllyyyy tested me today. I ordered the morning market veggie omelette with seasoned potatoes. Its a simple order, there were no customizations or anything. I received 2 chicken quinoa bowls???? They apologize and remake the meal, all is good. I got my order and found a bacon piece in my veggie omelet. How does any of this make sense? As a vegetarian this was very frustrating. Not happy

Rendezvous Cafe is such a gem in Cumming. Everything feels thoughtful and high quality, not rushed or mass-produced. On top of that, their customer service is phenomenal -- friendly, welcoming, and genuinely happy to help you decide or make recommendations. Their seasonal drinks are always on point, especially the Valentine's raspberry truffle latte, which was chef's kiss. Cozy atmosphere, delicious food, and the kind of place you want to keep coming back to. Highly recommend!

The system in…read morethe cafe is weird everyone is scrunched up I didn't feel comfortable talking because we were so close to the other table. Ambiance is way too crapped if you're claustrophobic you're probably not going to be able to stay here. System is whack because the drinks aren't on the menu you have to GET UP and go up and figure out what drink you want. Then they can only make it one way you can't asked for something cold/hot. Not to mention the floors were nasty, tables not wiped, and in general I hated the experience. The food looked like something you heat up in the microwave. Specially the croissant because it looks like jimmy deans croissants from Walmarts freezer section. Then to top it all off there was a 12-14 INCH HAIR PIECE In our food. I was disgusted. The chai latte tasted like straight up cold milk with some cinnamon on top. I've had tons of chai in my life but by far that one was the worst. I wouldn't come back and I pray that they get everything back in order. I see the business owner replied to my review. I will like to say as a customer if I share a review then I truly believe that things should be fixed, not excuses or "seen footage". If I had Gotten all the way up and went to the counter and said "I just found a 12-14 hair piece in my food" things still would not have changed due to us already being done with our experience and wanting to leave . Now with the cleaning situation there was tons of food under the tables and the tables weren't wiped. No one came to clean at all so the comments on the cleaning was way off for me, everyone was working BEHIND The counter. I also believe with the drinks I am not talking just about the Tiramisu Latte. I originally was not planning on getting the Tiramisu but when I asked for something else hot they said only iced. And no it is not a personal preference of a Chai latte a Chai latte should not taste like cold milk with cinnamon dust. Thank you for taking time to reply to my review. We also did NOT finish our food and the "seen footage" accusations is a bit harsh. As a Yelp Elite member it is important to be 100% REAL with my reviews. I take passion and respect for every business out there but I genuinely am concerned, especially with how defensive the owner is to my review. The rude server at the front also made us not feel comfortable coming up and doing something. Now seeing how the owner is acting I am even more worried.. A chai is suppose to be BROWN not PURE WHITE. If you truly looked at the footage you would've seen me pull that long hair piece out.

I feel a need to mention that the hosts were amazing . There was a older man i did not get his name but i got the girls name, Trinity. She has been there both times i've came and is always welcoming, and helpful, which really sets the tone. The dim lighting and comfortable seating also made the experience even better. I attended a Woofstock event at the Cumming city center this weekend and stumbled upon this charming bakery, cafe, and tea room. After ordering some freshly baked pastries from the bakery side we decided to have lunch. My sister ordered the chicken and waffles and loved the kick of the hot honey sauce. The chicken was well cooked breast meat and had a delicious crispy coating. The peach iced tea was light and refreshing, but not syrupy or cloyingly sweet. My egg salad sandwich was flavorful and the bread was fresh. My side salad was also really good and not just some iceberg lettuce and a mealy tomato. I swapped out the standard dressing for a little bleu cheese and it was worth the extra calories. I recommend this place if you are in the area.

Redevelopment is necessary on the customer service end. It's a bit chaotic and if the restaurant wasn't fully up and running I'd be more forgiving. However, it's over a month since opening and they're no longer in the soft opening stage so the constant changes are a bit exhausting. They've changed everything from the checkout process, bakery basket (it was complimentary), and hours of operation. My last visit was quite pleasant. I enjoyed my brunch, and everyone seemed to receive the food well. Plus, my server was very welcoming and present. However, my visit today was the opposite experience. The server arrived 15 minutes after I was seated, it took another 15 minutes for my order to be placed, and roughly 20-25 minutes before my food arrived and it was bussed by multiple staff members. They were short staffed but considering the restaurant wasn't extremely busy it was a bit annoying to wait so long. Also, everything was out of stock... the grenadine syrup for the Shirley Temples and cocktails, the hot honey for the chicken... my OJ even came out late because they were waiting for more clean glasses out of the dishwasher. It was simply unorganized and I probably won't return until the reviews suggest things have improved.
