UPDATE- I emailed them per FW response to my review. Never heard back- Crickets. Very disingenuous attempt and they only responded to let people think they actually care! Clearly they don't. My son was apprehensive about going as his last two visits yielded an unpleasant experience. We should have listened. There were 3 of us and we ordered 2 orders of eggs Benedict and a breakfast sandwich Once food finally arrived- waiter brought 2 of the eggs benedict and said my son's breakfast sandwich would be just one minute. Nope! It took another 15 min for my son's breakfast sandwich to arrive. While waiting for his meal, I proceeded to eat my eggs Benedict which mind you is supposed to consist of a "poached" egg. Well my egg was hard boiled. I showed the waiter my hard boiled egg and he indicated he would replace it. So I set aside that portion and ate the other half. Waiter brings me back JUST the replacement egg. Not the actual other completed half with contents of the Canadian bacon, tomato or bread. Remember I placed aside the hard boiled portion of the meal which by now was cold! Who does that? To add insult to injury, my son's girlfriend egg benedict was also hard boiled. I called over the manager to show him how the waiter responded to our issue and to his credit the manager was very apologetic and said he would take care of my meal. However later when I asked for the check I learned the manager took care of all 3 of our meals and at which point I opted to let the waiter know of our displeasure of having to wait 15 min for my sons meal and for me to have received a hard boiled egg. Which for a breakfast place who specializes in eggs Benedict clearly doesn't know how to make! The waiter opted to make excuses saying it's hard for the kitchen to handle that many tickets for the restaurant and have food come out for one table at once! Lol. I wonder how all the other successful busy restaurants do it then! SMH. Seems they need to better train their staff on how food should be expedited and their cooks in how to properly make a poached egg! Doubt I'll come back. read more

We went in during the Sunday morning rush, no reservation nothing. However our large party was seated within 5 minutes and I cannot believe the service. Such friendly servers and we received our food super fast despite us having a large party. I got to try their new mint drink they had on the menu and it tasted exactly like the Girl Scout thin mint cookies.. delish! I got the crepe and shared a blueberry pancake. The perfect sweet and savory combo. I always love visiting first watch but this location in particular was amazing. read more

Hard to like this place. You decide to spend more on breakfast and wind up having to listen to very loud music that stifles your ability to have a conversation. Before I was seated, I asked if they could turn the music down. They said they would try. The waitress told us, after we were seated, the music was corporate policy to be that loud. I made it my personal policy, to never again go to First Watch if I intened to have a conversation with a person that was with me. read more

We are from out of town and I read in the Yelp app about your menu and I love a good eggs Benedict- I got the florentine with spinach, avocado and tomato. The eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandAise sauce was light and lemony. My husband ordered the T rifecta and the bacon cooked to order and pancake was light and fluffy. Waitress was very friendly and the food was served timely and she offered to go cups of tea. Nice place! read more

Service was good. Food was sub par at best. Ordered a $11 egg sandwich which was 2 pieces of bacon, one egg, some avocado spread, and a leafy green of sorts. This was all on a brioche bun. Sounds good.. but.. egg was over cooked and bun was stale. Ordered the millionaires bacon. It was not. Bacon was undercooked and simply tasted like they just sprinkled cracked pepper on it and drizzled some syrup on it. Life hack this and just order regular side of bacon and have them bring the syrup out and poof same stuff. On the positive side we ordered a cinnamon roll that was outstanding. So a bump from 2 stars to 3 for that. Overall it was disappointing experience food wise. I expect to find some value in eating at a restaurant. That value should be in getting prepared food that is better than I can make myself or some other value for my money. The food for the quality you get is far overpriced. An egg sandwich from Wendy's is better and a fraction of the price. Improve the kitchen and food quality and I'll be back otherwise this place is not a good value at all. read more

My opinion on first watch is that the food is amazing and the potatoes are delicious with the sausage, our family usually gets the traditional breakfast or the veggie farm skillet. So by far this is probably one of the best traditional breakfast I've had. read more

I have been to many First Watch restaurants for breakfast in Florida and Georgia. Been to this location two times in the past month and their food was just "average". ie overdone pancakes, hard boiled eggs on eggs Benedict. Service was similar...slow and not customer focused. To begin, First Watch is yummy indeed. I read a lot of the complaints and wanted to see if there was any validity to them. I dined here on a Wednesday morning into the afternoon. It was after my own experience that I realized, First Watch could definitely be a 5 star review, but they merely comment "sorry" but do nothing about the feedback. Here's some examples: Common complaint: line backs up for payment. Solution- Isn't it obvious that one person running the register and seating guests is going to cause a clump of people to stand in the restaurant waiting in an unnecessary line. If you can't handle that, then stick to what works. Let the servers bring the checks AND run the payments as well. I mean, DUH! Big factor for knocking down stars: dishonest tipping. I am happy to tip good servers. They are well deserving. Especially when staff shortages are so high. But I don't like a dishonest merchant. MAKE SURE YOU CHECK the amount on the machine. They are NOT correct mathematically. I came home and realized I ended up tipping 34% because I was quick to push the button while socializing and didn't realize the math was so wrong. I would've gone back and gotten a refund for the sheer concept of manipulating the numbers, but our server was so good. Our server was an African American gentleman, with a beard. I didn't know his name so using description so you can get lucky and have him as a server. Another knock off the star- If you order a drink, and get no ice, THEY WILL GIVE YOU A KIDS CUP! COME ON! IS First Watch bleeding for profit that they SERIOUSLY give an adult a kid's cup because I don't like cold beverages. WOW, petty!!!!!! Another common complaint- Timing- It does take a while to get the food, but if you are in good company and a good mood, it won't bother you. If you are starving and hangry, you will notice it more. The Good: Great Menu. Something for EVERYONE! Love their clean eating options. Love the heavyness of turkey options over beef. Ambience, dishes, food---good! They had so many to go orders. The location is doing VERY well! Located Across The Collection. Next to Noire Nails. You can use the main traffic light to get into the plaza. Crowd- It is a busy establishment. Join the waitlist on google IF there is a wait. What was ordered: Purple Haze --- aka --- lemonade but very pretty Trailblazer Bowl - delicious! I switched the sweet potatoes to regular potatoes and the turkey to chicken. I was disappointed by the avocados. None were served with that clean fresh green. If you see the pictures posted, make sure you pay close attention to the fact that most of the pics are primarily by the restaurant marketing. You need to look at the pics posted by customers. According to the staff, they did not have any green avocados and switching out for a different one would also have black on it. Maybe they should post pics with blackened avocado (eye roll). Just left brunch, a victim of the sunk cost fallacy. We spent 2 hours sitting at a table. I should have known something was wrong after the first hour of waiting for food, but I assumed they were just busy and the kitchen was backed up. After about an hour and fifteen minutes the server came to the table to let us know that our ticket was lost. Our ticket was LOST. We had been waiting for food that was never coming. When the food finally arrived, it was lackluster and mediocre at best. The tragedy of errors continued when all the meals came out, except for the kids meals. No more tea refills because they dumped the tea. This has to be one of the worst experiences I have ever had dining out. Simply wow. read more

If I had to pick one, I would say the breakfast sandwich was a touch more my favorite. There was just something about that sweet and savory combination that made my morning. Ive been to the alpharetta location and this location in cumming was so great. The million dollar bacon was delish and i had the brioche toast with ricotta with fruit and creme anglaise. We stopped in for Sunday brunch with seven people. It was super crowded, but the service was excellent, and the food was delicious.

I came in to pickup a takeout order for breakfast on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was packed and it was very difficult to get any service. The staff was very busy and not too friendly. I finally received my order and the food temperature and quality was not up to par with the Johns Creek location. The restaurant layout is not cozy at all and it's way too loud to dine-in on a busy day. read more

First of all, I'm a moron! Because every time I drove by this place, I assumed it was some sort of gym. Don't ask me why But luckily a friend advised me that it's a restaurant and it only that! What a pleasant surprise! The breakfast I ordered was so fresh, delicious, and healthy. I started with the Morning Meditation juice for a tasty way to get some of my turmeric and ginger in for the day. Then, I had the Florentine Benedict. The poached eggs were just right with a yoke that soaked the brioche and toppings but no runny whites at all. There was a mound of greens for the side that didn't think much of at first but figured I'd eat for the added health benefit. They turned out to be fantastic, coated in a delicious lemon dressing. I could've eaten a whole meal of them. The service was equally as good. I was greeted promptly at the door at 9am on a Wednesday. There were several people dining despite the fact that it was a weekday. My server was attentive and very nice. When she was helping another table, a host came to check on me as well. Can we get an option for zero stars? This place is a waste of time. We came when they first opened and the wait had been past one hour even though they told us 30 minutes. It was a new establishment so we chalked it up to "being new". The food was fine. Nothing amazing. We came again, against our better judgment. We were told it was a 45 minute wait. One hour and 15 minutes later, after seeing many parties go ahead of us, one very nice gentleman who came after us was seated. He came back and said that the trick was to go in and and keep bugging them about the wait time. This poor gentleman got his table but even after 25 minutes, he and his party had not even gotten drinks. We realized that getting a table was just the beginning of the ridiculously long wait and left. Don't waste your time here. Management needs to do a much better time with combining people who walk in and those who hold their spot online. If they can't do that, don't allow walk-Ins. read more

First off the staff is not as attentive as they should be, specially when your running less tables in time of Covid. But the most frustrating thing was that the food was cold, out of our table of six, only one of the meals was hot. Cold pancakes and eggs is not pleasant to eat. Wow! This place is awesome. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu, I plan on becoming a regular. Large portions, healthy options, boosted vitamin tea?! Can't get much better. First time I've had First Watch's breakfast which included the Classic Eggs Benedict and the Farmhouse Skillet with bacon. The order was to go, and when I got the food home, 5 minutes from the restaurant, the two orders were warm, not hot. That's understandable when you're taking food out. The Farmhouse Skillet with bacon was tasty and filling. As for the Classic Eggs Benedict, the poached eggs were not in one piece in their container and they had run over everything on the take out container. The biggest complaint was the Hollandaise sauce was way too lemony. Fortunately I only used some of the Hollandaise sauce or I would have ruined the whole plate. Overall for $30, I'm not overly impressed so I only gave them 3 stars. I will say it will be a long time before I go back to First Watch again. read more

I have given this place 3 tries in hopes it would improve in the last year- sadly, it has not. We had 4 people eating and all 4 had a bad meal. The cream was curdled for the coffee- and all the cream in the bowl was curdled. Our eggs were over cooked, and our order was wrong (asked for grits and got a salad). The sausage had a terrible flavor as well. For the price of the meals there, I think people expect better quality. Like I said, this 3rd was probably the worse time and will not be back. read more
