I want to like this place so much but I have been a couple times now and every time the eggs Benedict gets ordered the eggs are hard boiled, not runny. Also the breakfast tacos say chorizo but it's chucks of unflavored, no spice pork. They have amazing lemon ricotta pancakes though and you can pay on your phone now using a QC code! read more

Love love the food here. Coffee is excellent. Servers are very nice and very easy on the eye as well. Lol!! Management was very attentive and came around to check on customers. I really love this place and for sure will go back and take people with me. Great brunch and family friendly establishment. read more

PATHETIC service and management.. we clearly had listed ourselves for waittime through their online app..while it took 1 hours to show no waittime with no notification abt our table being ready..On being asked we were simply told the app waittime is unreliable..we waited for more 10 mins after our already 1 hr waittime and yet had no update & finally left..such confusion and mismanagement! read more

I have given this place 3 tries in hopes it would improve in the last year- sadly, it has not. We had 4 people eating and all 4 had a bad meal. The cream was curdled for the coffee- and all the cream in the bowl was curdled. Our eggs were over cooked, and our order was wrong (asked for grits and got a salad). The sausage had a terrible flavor as well. For the price of the meals there, I think people expect better quality. Like I said, this 3rd was probably the worse time and will not be back. read more

Food excellent service service excellent what can you ask for more? Parking little tight but it's okay.

It's quite a new hotspot in town. The food is great portion size and tasty. However for breakfast it is very pricy. Nice to go for a birthday brunch or fancy date but not a go to every weekend for breakfast when your on a budget. The staff is friendly but the wait is long on weekends. read more

First Watch - Breakfast Skillet and breakfast burrito - Breakfast & Brunch Near Me - Cumming, Georgia

Never disappoints. Very crowded, but the manager was very accommodating to our group of five. I guess a crowd is a sign of good place to eat. Million dollar bacon was a hit with all, can you really go wrong with smoked bacon, brown sugar, cayenne and maple? Perfectly sweet with a Smokey heat. Trifecta with blueberry oat crunch pancakes were cooked to perfection! I'll be back read more

Yum! I am so happy that first watch is in Cumming now, and we can come here all the time! The restaurant itself is gorgeous, bright, and very well decorated. The menu is delicious with tons of variety, for both vegetarian and meat eaters a like! They have a seasonal menu which changes with the seasons, and then staples that are there all the time. They also have several delicious freshly pressed juices, and the ones that I've tried I've been really tasty. The handful of times that I've been here since they've opened, it's always crowded! Make sure you download their app on your phone, and you can hold your place in line before you even go there. It's very handy and it saves you time for waiting at the restaurant. In terms of the restaurants staff, I think they're still working things out, because the waiters that we've had, haven't had the most knowledge about the menu, or been the best servers. But like I said, it's a new restaurant and I think they are still working things out. We had an issue with our bill two times that we've gone, and the manager was very abrasive in dealing with that. I actually had to waste 15 minutes talking with him, and he was extremely rude. If my review was based off how he treated me alone, I wouldn't be back. Luckily the food speaks for itself and, so I'm going to overlook these two mishaps as a newly opened restaurant mistake. I highly recommend trying first watch, but make sure you use the app to secure your place in line- there's always a wait! read more

We've visited this location 5 times. As a repeat customer, I feel like I need to share feedback because I've noticed a pattern and I'm hoping that it helps the owners. First things first... the food is great. I like their menu options and I haven't had anything that didn't taste good. Why the 2 stars? The service is simply terrible. The first two visits we had at First Watch were pretty good. The food was good, it came out in a timely manner, and the waiters were attentive. The past three times haven't been anything close. Between receiving the wrong order, excessive times to wait for your order (25-30 minutes to receive food at the table), and waiters who seem to disappear into the kitchen only to be seen when they bring the check.... it's just not a pleasant experience. I hope the service improves at First Watch, we really enjoy the food and it's a great option for breakfast in the area. read more

This was our first time dining here. It was awesome! We had the bacon strip appetizer that consists of black peppered bacon with maple syrup. We also had the chickichanga which has pesto chicken with chorizo, some veggies and what tasted like an eggs benedict type drizzle with sour cream on the top, and multigrain banana pancake with granola crunch. The regular drip coffee was clean tasting and all around a good balance-not bitter. The ice coffee was perfectly sweetened but not overly. My favorite was the Kale tonic fresh juice- it consisted of kale, cucumber, Fuji apple and lemon. DELICIOUS and green!! We were SO impressed with the service, the food, coffee, fresh juices...We can't believe that we have never eaten here before. If you are craving something different..fresh..creative and has options for healthy meals...GO HERE! We will definitely be back! read more

Plan a trip to First Watch. Go early, sign in or just take it as it comes. Some NEW items on the menu compliment the reliable, old ones. Consider sharing; everyone at the table will want a piece of Million Dollar Bacon. Servers are friendly and this was an all around home run. read more

I had a horrible experience at another First Watch in Decatur - so their National Management had given me a gift card. It stayed in my wallet for over a year because I really had no interest in using it. But friends wanted to meet at this First Watch on a Saturday morning so we went. It was very crowded and we had to wait for a while - but it was worth it. The service was quick, food hot and excellent. They are back on my list. read more

I've lived in Cumming my entire life, and I've been dying for a great breakfast/brunch spot. First Watch is exactly what Cumming has been missing! There's options for everyone, including vegetarian/vegan, gluten-free, and low-calorie dishes. They offer everything from a traditional American breakfast, to avocado toast, to soups and sandwiches. We went around 8:30am for the grand opening and were seated immediately. The service was great and friendly. The food came out in a reasonable amount of time, and the server was good about making sure we were good on our drinks. I got the BLT Eggs Benedict and my boyfriend got the Works Omelette with potatoes. Both were very delicious!! Eggs Benedict can be tricky, but they cooked the dish perfectly! The bacon was crispy, just how I like it, the bread was nice and crunchy, and the side spring mix was the perfect addition to keep me from being too full. The Omelette was packed full of fresh veggies and meat, it was really good, as well. My biggest regret is not ordering the Million Dollar Bacon or trying the juice, but I will definitely be returning to try both! When leaving around 9:15, the restaurant was getting busy and the wait was about 20-30 minutes. Download the First Watch app to keep track of the wait time and get in line before you arrive. read more

I love first watch and have had good experience at many locations. Was surprised with this specific place at the salt level. Everything we ordered all 4 dishes was over salted. Service was great and the wait was reasonable. The only thing was high salt level. I noticed a similar review from others as well specific to salt levels. read more

My family visited for brunch/lunch. We were greeted right away and seated within 5 minutes of arrival. Our server came within a minute of us being seated with hot coffee and took drink orders. My son and I both ordered the Summer special, Crab Omelette and an order of the Million Dollar bacon. My husband ordered Market Hash. When the food came it was fresh and hot. The bacon was good but a little spicy. Next time I'd probably order without the black pepper or cayenne. Omelette was good. A lot of food for one person. I'd probably share with someone next time. Overall a good first visit. We'd go back. read more

My husband and I tried First Watch this past Sunday morning. It was pouring rain, but that didn't keep people away. We arrived early and were seated right away. Our server was Sandra and she was excellent! She knew the menu and was able to answer our questions. She checked on us regularly but wasn't an intrusion. I actually like my bacon very crispy, and when i told her the bacon I had was just not done enough for me, she brought me a new order of crispy bacon! She was smiling and friendly yet professional. The food was very good too! My English muffin was toasted just right, and I loved the cheese grits especially. We will be back! read more

This was our second terrible experience. Great service from waitresses. Food preparation slow and incorrect. Had to send back our food three times. Management lacked damage control. We won't be back. We love First Watch, but will travel further to avoid this location. read more

First time to First Watch and it was outstanding. Busy place, but they turn the tables quickly while not pressuring patrons. Claybo was our server and she was excellent. Friendly, professional and perfect service. I had the "special", avocado toast and eggs. Prepared perfectly, the toast is multigrain and delicious, avocados ripe and the eggs exactly as requested. The price is right, really about what you would expect for the quality. I must try if you are in Cumming!! read more

This was the brand new location in Cumming on their first day of service. Like all the locations we have visited parking is an issue and First Watch depends upon you parking at other businesses during peak times. Considering the other businesses are not constructed yet helps. The service was a little slower but again it was the first day and they got a pass on it. The food is the same so if you like one location you will like this one as well. I have tried multiple items and while all have been pretty good I have not hit on something great. This time I had the elevated egg sandwich and it was a little messy to try to eat with your hands and the egg was halfway over easy. I tried someone else's avacado toast and it was better than most. It is nice to have a good breakfast/ brunch spot this far north though instead of having to go to John's Creek or Buford. read more

Expensive; small portions; mediocre quality.good bloody marys with delicious maplebacon.

This is usually my favorite breakfast place, but today we went to their website to get on the waiting list, and it said no wait of a party of our size (2 adults and a child. When we showed up there were ten or so people waiting and we were told it would be 25 to 30 minutes. When I showed the hostesses their website saying no wait, she said it didn't take into account their only having two waitresses. I'm not sure what the point of such an app is if it cannot give one accurate information. The wait turned out to be 40 minutes, and my eggs benedict were cold. read more

I enjoyed my meal - got a doctored version of the egg sandwich. Staff was nice. Wouldn't recommend the berry toast - wasn't what we expected. The short rib Benedict was well-received. Loved the kale green juice. Million Dollar Bacon wasn't as expected but had good flavor. Just wasn't thick. Would come here again. read more

Very nice atmosphere. Extremely clean restaurant, friendly staff and a delicious breakfast at a fair price

Tuesday morning not busy at all. Took at least 20 minutes to get our food. Came out cold. Butter wouldn't melt on waffle. Bacon cold. Portions have definitely gotten smaller. It took at least 5 minutes to get the attention of any server. Finally one walked by not ours so I stopped her. She took my plate and didn't get another plate at least another 10 minutes. Manager came over after I got my second plate and apologized and said he'd make it right. When I got the bill there was no compensation for the inconvenience. By this time I was just ready to leave. We come here quite often and are usually satisfied. Hopefully it was just the day. read more

Food is always good, service is always good, albeit a bit slow. So why 2 stars?!? They should get at least 4 wouldn't ya think? Well, riddle me this.... why are there ALWAYS 4-6 empty tables with an hour wait? Who ever is running this place doesn't have a clue. I've been there... don't want to put the wait staff in the WEEDS? HIRE ANOTHER. Kitchen too small? Better prep for faster through out. There are answers if you care to look for them. To watch them run this place is painful. To wait for my meal while tables site empty is droll A little training will go a long way. Last time we visit here. Too bad, it's a good menu. I'll leave my tip money elsewhere thank you. read more

This was a first class breakfast. I was served too much bacon and could only barely eat all of the bacon on my plate. It had never once happened before. I was giddy with delight. Fresh seafood n house thick sliced in house baked whole grain breads were magnificent. Service was agreeable and splendid. Rich jam adorned breads with too much bacon is a recipe for success. Breakfast was served hot and fresh cooked to order. Home fries are generously served and top off a large breakfast plate. We cannot wait to return. This is the kind of place you take your momma on her birthday. read more

I feel like what you get for the prices are not worth it. The trifecta can come with a waffle or pancake but the pancake is very dry. It also came with 2 eggs but it was definitely 1 egg and the bacon was burnt and too crispy. The host was very rude when checking out she didn't even look at us once she was too busy on her phone. I do not recommend this place. read more

I love the concept, and was excited to try it. I literally came in for biscuits and gravy. I'm an odd ball and not big on meat or pork so I asked the server what to expect.....she did not explain that it's not normal biscuits n gravy. Didn't say anything about it being a chicken gravy. I do appreciate that she took effort to see I didn't eat it and removed it from my bill. I don't want to sound ugly but that mess was not any variation of biscuits and gravy. I can't afford to work hard to "try" foods that I'm sure the cook and staff would not enjoy. read more

This was recommended by my sister. She doubled down on the "million dollar bacon" and she could not have oversold it. Best bacon ever. I had originally considered a traditional eggs and bacon meal, but Jodi told me I had to have the Pesto Chicken Quinoa Bowl. I was skeptical, because chicken at breakfast, am I right? But I decided to go with her recommendation and it was amazing. Healthy, fresh, light and tasty. We're coming back on our way out of town! And the service and presentation is spectacular. read more
