We arrived around 5:30 and were seated right away. Opted to be a little further from the Bar & TV area but away from the kids party room. In search of a lighter volume level for date night. Nicholas greeted us at the table and took our appetizer order (Buffalo Cauliflower) along with adult beverages. We were not in a hurry with tickets for some live music starting in two hours. My wife ordered the black bean burger with sweet potato fries and I selected the bratwurst (set of two) with steak fries. We enjoyed being able to hear each other for our conversations! Our meal came at a perfect time with 100% accuracy and we both needed Togo containers for our lunch at home the next day. Nicholas took great care of us and I enjoyed my first time here! I have been two Mondays at 2PM in the past few weeks at lunch. Great time if you wish to avoid crowds. I had the same servers each time and they were just most attentive, coming over numerous times to check on my needs and my friends and to offer free refills of drinks! I need to point out - the menu has something for everyone and the weekly specials are wonderful. I am hoping the shrimp scampi lunch weekly special comes back soon. As a northerner who misses seafood I grew up with - this small appetizer portion with 8 excellent sized shrimp in the most delicious sauce served with toast tips was FABULOUS. We just love this place! I absolutely love their grilled grouper sandwich on a (good) gluten free bun. My husband loved the ribeye steak, among other things. The veggies are cooked and seasoned well, things seem fresh, not out of a bag. Tonight in particular we had the most wonderful server, Alexis, which made the experience even better. I dropped by to catch a World Cup game and get a late lunch. While the food was decent, the overall value was such that I probably won't return again. I ordered blackened fish tacos (that came with almost no meat - *maybe* 1.5oz/ea) and a water and it cost me over 30 bucks with tip. I updated my side to a side salad and *was* informed there would be an "upcharge" ... which ended up being six dollars. And for the extra extravagance of having jalapeños on my tacos, that was another buck fifty. The service was OK and the atmosphere was good to catch a game. But none of that makes it worth 30 bucks for three tacos. I was alerted that they have a six dollar hamburger on Mondays so I might drop in for that. And , you guessed it, with jalapeños. Food is amazing, but they are rather inconsistent. I typically get the chicken parmesan sandwich and there is literally a drop of marinara sauce on it. I ask for extra sauce on my sandwich and they charge me $2.00 for a whole bowl of sauce. I explained to two different servers that I don't need a whole bowl of sauce, just the correct amount for the sandwich and was told both times that their management requires them to charge me for the bowl. Very frustrating and unnecessarily expensive for a sandwich. Disappointed that management would set hard rules that are only requests at all because the food isn't prepared correctly. read more

A local favorite! Haven't been in way too long, and remembered how much I love their French Onion Soup and since it is officially Fall, I thought what better time than now to welcome Fall with some warm delicious soup? I also really love their Cajun Chicken Pasta which has a nice kick to it. Huge portion, so I only get that when I'm extra hungry. I often go for the Grilled Chicken Caesar Wrap to pair with my soup (and the loaded steak fries, of course). The restaurant itself is huge, but broken up into the bar area to the right when you walk in, and main dining area to the left. Sometimes it gets super crowded (especially on the bar side) and loud, but that's to be expected at a place like this, and good for them for staying so busy. I do think the parking lot could be a bit bigger, especially for all of the other businesses and restaurants next door in the same strip. Parking can be a bit of a hassle when coming here, but great service and yummy food make it worth it. read more

We figured we need to try local restaurants and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was a pub feel. We were seated as soon as we walked in. Our waiter Tyler was attentive. We had the bratwurst and chips and grouper basket eith fries. The bratwurst came with 2 bratwurst. Husband was very pleased. The grouper bites and fries were delicious. The tater sauce was not my cup of tea but they had malt vinegar. If we lived here we this would be a go to for us. When we are back in the area we will visit again. Our type of place. read more

The Saturday after Thanksgiving is all about football with my family. We always go to the hot wing spot, with approximately 16 of us this time, to catch the games and although I was about 30 mins late to meet the group, there was still plenty going on. Wings and salads and apps (like pickle chips) were all over the table... I asked for a water without ice and no lemon and when the server brought it to me, it looked like it had floating debris. I just set it aside and luckily I had a water bottle with me. I wasn't really hungry so I just snacked on some of my cousins' plates - so I tried the patty melt, a gold rush wing, the fries and pickle chips and they were all ok. I would say the fries were seasoned nicely and they were the really wide ones. The patty melt was served on marble rye, which I like. The pickle chips had a breading I thought held in the grease too much and the pickles didn't stay inside the breading very well... The wing was probably the star of the show and we were told that this place had pretty good wings. So if you like wings and that's what you're going to get that's, probably your best bet! Other than that, the service was decent, not fantastic, but it was a busy day. I'd probably go back, but I'd definitely make sure I order wings! read more

Christmas Eve, Cleveland Browns are playing but unfortunately not on our network at home. We decided to go to Black Diamond Grill to watch game, get some drinks and food. Our first time coming here, we were greeted and able to get a table where we could watch our game we came to see. Started off with margaritas and onion rings for appetizers. Onion rings were very good and had a very tasty sauce to dip them in. Margaritas definitely hit the spot. Inside the restaurant were a lot of college banners and luckily we were seated right under The Ohio State flag (our team)! I ordered the french dip sandwich which came with steak fries and my hubby ordered the grouper sandwich with steak fries. Everything was very good and nice size portions, I was able to take over half my order home. Good time and a Browns win!! read more

Great place to hangout with friends and family. This is a lively bar and grill offering an American menu, plus sports on TV, a game area and outdoor seating. Their menu ranges from salads to burgers to Buffalo wings. They have good selection of alcoholic and non alcoholic beverages. You will have an excellent dining experience here. This sports bar is a hidden gem. We had a private party here that was originally supposed to be a party of 20, but turned out to 30 plus. We never felt rushed and got our drinks and appetizers right away. The food has always been great and consistent. Mahi Fish Tacos, and Chicken Wings, they were huge and fantastic in taste. Their house sauce was amazing and yummy. Waiters are patient and responds quickly. Our server was very attentive, polite, and adequately versed in their menu. The prices are very reasonable and affordable. Huge TV screens allover if you want to watch a game while you eat and drink. I almost skipped the place because it looks like a small strip joint place. When you walk in you realize how wrong that assumption, because this place is very huge. I look forward to trying more of the menu next time and will go again and know that it will be great. read more

This restaurant was a recommendation from my aunt and she knows how to pick good places. We were there with a small group, including a young child. Our server was great and made sure to quickly attend to our toddler diner. All the food was served fast and everyone enjoyed their food. I had the grilled chicken cordon blue and it was fantastic, alongside sweet potato fries. Be aware it does get pretty loud here. They have trivia nights and live music on some nights. read more

I was in Cumming Georgia for work. Unfortunately, by the time I got free, it was after 9 pm. Apparently, most restaurants of the region close at that hour. But, thanks to Yelp, I located Black Diamond. Having not eaten all day, anything would do. But, I didn't have to settle. Black Diamond has an extensive number of options. I entered to discover the bar area very crowded, so I went to the separate dining area. There were still a half dozen tables of diners. I was immediately and courteously seated by Layne, who was also quick to bring me drinks. Indecisive, she pointed out both the local favorites and her personal choices off the menu. Opting for a burger, she also identified the most popular selections from that section of the menu. Though she explained it was an oddly preferred regional fav, I passed on the "peanut butter burger" and went for the "Smokehouse." BBQ, cheese, smoked bacon and crispy fried, razor thin, "onion tubes." Layne very accurately reported that medium temperature was truly medium. I always get bloody as so-called medium. My error, she was 100% accurate. Burger was near perfect medium, just a bit past, because I asked for "medium plus." And, that's exactly how the kitchen nailed it. A very good burger cooked as requested. Accompanied by a crunchy side of tater tots, I was happy. I'm critically finicky. Not the best burger I ever had. But, very good. Overall, restaurant looked clean. Big, plenty of seating. A litany of options. Reasonably priced. Average noise levels. Likely a very popular family stop. I travel with some frequency, and dine out a lot. Customer service is rarely acceptable. In Miami, most servers' attitude is I'm doing them a favor by having them permit me to be served. So, I applaud the Grill's management for its employee selection. For reiteration, I had top quality customer service from Layne, even though the restaurant seemed preparing to close, she had side work, and I was among the last, late hour diners. read more

Went for dinner and paid our bill with cash. As we were walking through the parking lot we were called back by the staff that they had something to ask us. In front of the crowded bar they told us the bill we paid with was counterfeit. They insisted on taking our driver's license picture and threatened to keep the bill and destroy it. We made an alternate payment and insisted they return the bill to us. On the way out they followed us to the car and continued to take pictures. The next business day we took the bill to the bank where they confirmed it was real and that the restaurant did not know how to identify it properly. We will not be returning after this fiasco for just mediocre food. read more
