Love this place! Great food and atmosphere. Kids enjoy it and we try something new every time.

The past two times I have been to this restaurant the food has been terrible. Today the eggs Benedict were over cooked eggs on top of uncooked English muffin. The creamer for my coffee was curdled and bad so I got another coffee creamer out of the bowl this one was so bad I had to wash my hands due to the smell of the rancid creamer in the bowl. You would think a restaurant at this price point would have fresh creamer on the table. read more

I was able to reach out to someone in customer service who was very pleasant and apologetic about the experience I had. We received a couple of gift cards to revisit. We went back twice and the meals were so much better! I'm not sure what changed or if it were truly a bad day that they were having, but I was surprised at how different our meals were. I have NO idea why this place does not have 5 stars, they are sooo good! You have to try their fresh squeezed juices (I love the kale tonic). They are always packed so just be prepared to wait. We checked in online and given a wait time of 30-45 minutes. Wait was more like an hour and it was extremely cold waiting outside. Cups on tables were dirty and silverware had to be replaced as was also dirty. Food was okay. I've had better experiences with other First Watch locations. I had biscuits and gravy and the Million Dollar Bacon. Bacon was cold. My husband had the breakfast tacos which were warm, not hot. Not the best experience and probably won't come back to this location again. read more

Can I just tell you HOW much I LOVE food?!? Especially desserts!!! I typically can just eat a dessert for a meal and be satisfied. But let me just say, being a bit more health conscious, I chose the Floridian French Toast and loved it! The staff was friendly, the food was excellent, and I power shopped! This was the Cumming location conveniently by shopping which is a plus OH, and I've had the Ham and Gruyere minus tomato-adding avocado sandwich YUMMMMMMM! Tiffany was our spectacular most amazing server. She was so knowledgeable and helpful. I am a server myself and she made me want to be nice in the morning. The food was so good. The only item I enjoyed was the coffee.This was my first and last time that I will eat at First Watch. If my close friend did not work at this restaurant, I would give it 1 star. First negative, the restaurant was extremely noisy. The restaurant's contemporary design and open concept seemed to amplify the noise. Second negative, the service sucked. Our waiter was almost non attentive. I ordered a dish, Açaí bowl that I had no idea was a frozen brunch item. The waiter seemed to suggest that I should have known that the dish was a cold dish when I complained that I had no idea from the menu's description that the dish was cold, Third negative, the description of the food was better than the actual reality of the food. Based on the way that the food was described on the restaurant's website and menu, I expected extremely flavorful food. I found my dish lackluster and lacking flavor. I have had better almond butter from the grocery store than what I received on my bland and cold multigrain toast. The only item I enjoyed was the coffee. read more

Left after two hours of sitting at a table without receiving my order. The place isn't understaffed - there's plenty of people, it's just poorly managed. At some point a manager should have walked the dining room and explained the backup in the kitchen and apologized. This was not the best First Watch I've been to. Our food tasted good... However, for our party of 7 the entrees came at very scattered times and mostly cold. We came in on Thursday morning, no waiting. Although I reserve one star reviews for "punched my baby without asking", we left without eating AND paid the bill. The coffee was good and our server was friendly. We waited 25 mins for our food to arrive. My eggs were over done and *grey* and the avocado was brown and had a weird taste. I'm giving two stars for the service. Neither of our dishes tasted homemade or had any type of flavor. I saw everyone was adding salt and pepper to their meals and now I understand exactly why. Almost every diner that I observed left half their food on their plates. I refused a to go container because it just wasn't tasty. I believe they're microwaving the food because as crowded as this place was, I didn't see a team of cooks nor did I smell anything grilling. Unfortunately we won't return. read more

Came late am for brunch on Friday. Quick seating and waitress took order quickly. We waited for 30+ for two traditional breakfast meals. The waffle was cold (would not even melt the butter) eggs were luke warm and bacon was a mess. Looks like the waffle was dropped and smashed likewise for the bacon. I was excited to try this place as I have a strange love of breakfast foods. Well I was disappointed. The food took about 30 minutes to come out and then it was cold. We arrived at the tail end of Sunday brunch and they were packed! We joined the wait list on Yelp before arrival, however, and we're seated pretty quickly. I had the roast beef sandwich which came on a toasted sourdough with the most amazing crunch I took a bite. It was served with some salad greens with a lemony dressing, which was a nice healthy option over the fries that most places pair with a sandwich. If you read all my reviews I've never written a bad review. First watch food is great! But...... twice I've come here and twice I've waited over 45 minutes for my food after I have order it!! Apparently the kitchen gets overwhelmed with Uber eats orders that the people in the restaurant get pushed aside. So to recap you get here on a weekend wait 45 minutes to get seated and then 45 after you order to get your food. read more

I am familiar with a plethora of amazing brunch places that available in the large inter cities. This place is as close as it gets without going down to Buckhead. We only saw our sever to place our order, get our drinks and brought our check and said "no rush" about 7 minutes after our food hit the table. Another server brought our food. Never saw our server again while we were eating. We had finished eating and sat for nearly 10 minutes to get a to-go box and to-go coffee cup. Was there about 730am and the restaurant was sparsely populated. Most of the other severs looked attentive. Guess we got a bad one, but I'm not inclined to come back and find out. I'd expect a better customer service experience with a $30 breakfast for two. read more
