Tomato toast

Come here all the time and it is usually great. Not sure if new prep staff or if they were busy but I don't appreciate paying these prices for something that looks like this? Where is the ricotta and tomato? Shame

Such a cute place! I really enjoyed. Service was super nice and the food was great. The strawberry matcha was great too.

Went in and out of here within 10 minutes, however, one of the best Matcha Lattes I've ever had! The aesthetic is absolutely beautiful filled with gorgeous, modern tiles and live plants. Looks tiny from the outside but is actually a little bigger than it looks once you walk in. They have patio seating as well, which I hope to enjoy next time along with a few tapas from the menu. The Strawberry Basil Brie Sandwich and Avocado Toast are also on my list for brunch one day. I love that they serve their breakfast menu until 3pm daily. If you are a coffee drinker, they pride themselves in using a Mythos grinder combined with a LaMarzocco espresso machine to ensure the highest quality Coffee, Espresso, Latte, Cappuccino, etc. Parking is quite limited, but you might just get lucky like I did and find a spot in the front right by the entrance. Vickery is a really nice little village with restaurants and shops, so not a bad place to walk a little further if you have to.

Lox-y bagel and cinnamon bun!

Amazing place!! Really sweet ambiance, very clean, and kind + efficient server. I got the lox-y bagel, which was delicious, and the cinnamon bun, which was one of the best I've ever had. Lovely experience!! My girlfriend got the English breakfast tea and swears it's one of the best she's ever had. Highly recommend this place

I was visiting a friend in Cumming and found this cafe in Vickery Village for brunch. We went during a pretty busy hour and had to wait about 15-20ish minutes (nothing crazy as compared to Atlanta). The decor was very simple with just few items hanging on the walls, and there was enough seating to fit couples and families. We were seated indoors and had such a sweet server who seemed exhausted from her shift. Before perusing the menu we grabbed some coffee & matcha which were enjoyable. We came hungry so we ordered a few plates to share. To start, it took quite a while for our food to come out for some reason. The family seated next to us and ordered after us got their meal before the two of us. But seeing how our server seemed tired we suspected things were a bit chaotic and running a little behind. I ordered the strawberry basil & brie which I thought had so much potential but seemed very dry at the time. My friend ordered the Nido Burrito which he thought was underwhelming. We shared the goat cheese beignets and albondigas, and both were okay. Overall, we were not satisfied with food or service but I believe it has potential to grow and improve. It's in a nice area and I'm willing to give it a second chance. There's parking in the back and front of the restaurant. If you park in the back there's a staircase to climb up to get to the front.

Finally had a chance to come out with family. And I'm so upset I never came out sooner! I everything was delicious. Service was 6/10 and the food took forever to come out but the food was good enough for me to want to come back.

Nidos is my go to spot whenever I have company in town! It's my cutest spot that I always want to highlight to my friends. The picture is from when my college roommate came to visit me and we got the chocolate fondue. This is always to die for! I literally cannot resist ordering it! Not to mention how cute this spot is! They have a great screened in porch but also some in door seating options. The service is always great but also super relaxed if you are there to study! Love this place!!!!

Old damaged benches

Coffee is bitter and only warm - not hot even though we sent it back and asked for hot coffee. Cappuccino was bitter and milk was barely frothed - big bubbles with a thin layer of milk - looked more like soap bubbles. We tried it twice. Apple empanadas were not served hot. Warm and soggy. Tasted old, not fresh. Avocado toast was plain - not worth the price. French toast was overcooked- bread was dry. Bacon was excessively fatty and undercooked- seemed to be of inferior quality. Service was good at beginning but after we asked for fresh coffee (a failure) then the server disappeared. I had to go and find her so we could pay. She was standing by the barista, chatting with two employees. Cafe was not busy. Ambiance at first glance is pleasant but then we started to notice dirty floors and benches with huge duct tape patches. Menu is small but it sounds good. Unfortunately did not measure up in reality. Very disappointing. Will not return.

I recently visited Nido Cafe to work alongside my manager while in the area. The cafe is located in a quiet plaza that offers plenty of retail/restaurant options and tons of parking. I parked on the wrong side of the building but thanks to great signage, I easily found the doors to Nido. Nido is really a beautiful cafe that offers intimate seating indoors and a few outdoor options if you'd like to enjoy the experience out in the Georgia sun, (or cold). We opted to sit inside at their cozy cubby seating as it was a chilly day and we were planning on hanging out for a bit. I'll say, probably not the best place to cowork due to the lack of outlets and I actually felt bad for hogging seating after seeing that there were only a few other tables inside. We did luck up because the young lady sitting next to us was right next to an outlet and she plugged me in, although it meant my cord was kinda stuck behind her back. My coffee was absolutely delicious! Served in a big cup, hot with tons of great flavor - it was a great way to kick off my morning. For lunch I opted for a sandwich I know all to well, a Cuban. Being from South Florida with Cuban influences all around me, it's a favorite and knowing that, I shouldn't have ordered it at this cafe. Let me say, the presentation was fantastic. It was a huge sandwich on some beautiful Cuban bread, paired with homemade potato chips, 4/5 presentation. (A lil pickle garnish would be cute lol) But when I tried the sandwich, I wasn't a big fan but that doesn't mean you won't be. There was tonsss of pork on the sandwich. One piece of pork that tasted like a thick bacon and then the pulled pork on the bottom. I didn't love the meat and thought it could use more of a kick or savory taste to it. Another reason I love Cuban sandwiches is that I love mustard and I love pickles. There was only one pickle on the sandwich sadly and the mustard was super minimal, seemingly overpowered by a mayo-ish taste. I actually requested extra pickles that didn't end up on my sandwich, but our waitress brought some back for me after I let her know. The chips were beautifully prepared and obviously homemade, I believe that my manager liked them but I'm not a homemade chip kinda girl - sue me lol. I appreciated the effort and final presentation. So all in all, I think that I just have such a specific expectation of what a Cuban sandwich is, I haven't left much room for any kinda twist on it and that's probably my loss! If you love pork, it's a hefty sandwich that may be for you. :) We had a sweet server who was actually on her very first day on the job. Always something good to know because obviously that will show in the service a bit. There seemed to be only two waitresses working and although she attempted to be attentive, there was a lot going on around her/us and a few times she returned to the table without what was requested causing her to circle back around. Things happen! Again, I was there for quite a spell so I had time lol. I'd definitely visit again and try something different next time!

The cafe is very cute! The menu had a lot of great sounding items on it. Would go back! I want to try the Nido burrito. I did try the cinnamon roll and a French sandwich I could not pronounce. Great for a girls brunch :)

View from balcony sitting

We found this little place after dropping our car off for services. The menu is light but delicious. Excellent staff and super friendly owner/manager. We enjoyed our breakfast while overlooking the balcony sitting. I would definitely come back!

Chicken empanadas
Kelsi H.

Cute cafe! I LOVED my honey cinnamon latte. We just got some bites and the chicken empanadas were TO DIE FOR. The outside is like crescent dough and the inside is rich and creamy. It was the perfect combo! I could have just eaten that. We also got the Spanish cheese fondue. It came with apples and bread. The apples were surprisingly good in the cheese! They can also bring you some extra bread if you ask! :) Overall we liked it as a chill spot to grab some food.

Eggs Benedict with tomato and great bacon
Keith F.

Charming brunch place. Feminine vibe but not overly. We had a nice version of eggs Benedict and a strawberry croissant egg sandwich that I don't remember the name of. And a side of bacon--$5 for 2 strips which I I initially thought was a ripoff but was really awesome so I'd order again. Take your wife/girlfriend there, or a good place for ladies to meet up.

My husband originally wanted to head down to Buckhead, because apparently that's where "the vibe"…read morelives. But the second we walked into Eclipse, he immediately pivoted and admitted this place looked better inside and out. Victory tastes sweet... almost as sweet as the caramel drizzle on the tres leches cake. Let's talk about the atmosphere. There's a literal indoor tree growing out of the middle of the restaurant like we're dining in an enchanted Spanish forest. Add in the giant crystal chandelier dripping drama from the ceiling and you've got a space that says, "Yes, we're upscale... but we also know how to party." The live guitarist sealed the deal. Nothing says romantic tapas night like a man casually shredding a red guitar five feet from your table. Now the food. It came out fast. Suspiciously fast. "Did they know we were coming?" fast. And every single plate slapped. The crispy potatoes were seasoned like they had something to prove. The empanada was golden and flaky with that creamy dipping sauce that makes you consider licking the container when no one's looking. The short ribs were so tender they looked like they'd been emotionally supported before being served. Even the fried croquettes and goat cheese with carmelized onions and honey felt like they had main-character energy. And that cake. That glorious, whipped-topped, caramel-drizzled masterpiece. I would write it a thank-you note. The staff? Impeccable. Attentive without hovering. Friendly without forcing it. The kind of service that makes you feel like you're a regular even if it's your first time. The only downside: it was the first warm day in a while, and the sun decided our table was the chosen one. Half of our bodies were enjoying ambient romance lighting. The other half was being interrogated by a solar laser beam. My pasty white legs were one direct ray away from combusting like Louis in Interview with a Vampire. I considered rotating every five minutes like a rotisserie chicken. Minor sun-induced trauma aside, this place is a solid five stars. Gorgeous interior. Live music. Fast, phenomenal food. Amazing staff. And the satisfaction of proving Buckhead is not the only place that can deliver a whole vibe. Pro tip: request a table out of the direct path of the sun unless you're actively trying to pregame summer.

One of the best things about Eclipse Di Luna is their inclusivity with the drink menu. They offer great choices for designated drivers that go well beyond just water or soda--it's refreshing to see a place put effort into their non-alcoholic options. The food menu is equally flexible. There are lots of tapas to choose from, which works perfectly whether you are coordinating a meal for a large group or just stopping in for a quick snack. The variety ensures there is something for everyone to enjoy. Highly recommend for the vibes, the music, and the excellent small plates!

Tonight, at my friend's birthday, we tried to sit at a high-top right beside the party. Macala immediately told us no--without a real explanation--and moved us to a low table. Fifteen minutes later, the rest of the birthday group walked in and were allowed to sit in that exact high-top. No problem. On top of that, no one came to take our drink order. We waited, went to the bar ourselves, and then nearly 20 minutes later she came over insisting she had been to us twice (once to move us and once to drop menus). I truly try not to jump straight to assuming bias, but when this type of situation happens more than once and only seems to apply to certain people, it's hard not to feel singled out. I love the live music here, but the seating inconsistency and lack of service made us feel like we didn't belong, and that's incredibly disappointing.

The staff was kind and attentive, and the space itself was decent -- clean and casual. I came in looking for fish tacos and ordered the grouper tacos (fried corn tortillas) with a side of refried beans and guacamole. The tacos were the highlight -- the fish had really nice flavor and texture. At first glance, it looked almost like fried fish sticks, but it tasted fresh and well-seasoned. The tacos were stuffed with cabbage and a generous amount of pico de gallo (a little too much for my taste), but everything came together nicely once I added the chipotle-style sauce. The sauce reminded me of Subway's chipotle mayo -- creamy, smoky, and actually really good. The guac was smooth, flavorful, and clearly fresh. Unfortunately, the refried beans didn't hold up -- they were runny, watery, and totally bland, like brown soup with no flavor. Also, I was surprised they only offered white rice instead of the traditional Mexican rice, which felt like a miss for this type of restaurant. Overall, I'd give the tacos an 8.5/10 -- tasty, filling, and worth coming back for. The guac was solid too. I'd just skip the beans next time.
