(Ok, don't stop reading now) I have always been a bacon egg and cheese on a poppy seed hard roll kind of guy, BUT... these are the BEST breakfast biscuits I have ever had. To me, most biscuits are like chewing on a sponge, but not here! These biscuits are moist and flakey, and the bacon is delicious. The girls at the drive up window have always provided great service with a smile, and the coffee is good too! This is an American Small Business, run by a great family. Adorable small business. I did the drive thru and got a sausage & egg biscuit. It came pipping hot and perfectly cooked. The biscuit was fluffy on the inside, golden on the outside. Consistently delicious and one of the few places you can get a hoop cheese biscuit (iykyk). I went with my husband to get a biscuit to fuel our day of running errands. He got the Nashville hot and said it was very good and had a nice kick to it. I got a sausage, egg, and hoop cheese biscuit. Their biscuits are HUGE, and delicious. Give it a try! Heard about this place in Cumming through the grapevine and decided to stop by before an appointment nearby. I went to the drive-thru since it was my first time and probably should have ordered at the window. There was a line of cars and I felt rushed since I didn't want to hold anyone up. Decided to go with the breakfast platter with hash browns and country fried steak. The eggs were scrambled but not sure if there were actually 2 eggs as it seemed more like 1. Country fried steak and hash browns were hot and crispy, and the biscuit was good and fluffy. There's certainly great value in the options here, as it's not overly expensive for what you get. We are visiting the Cumming area and saw the place while looking for a post office and thought we'd try them. Wow, what a cathead biscuit! We've visited them for breakfast every day since! The selection of what you can put on the biscuits is huge as are the biscuits. My favorite is the hot chicken biscuit, but just a plain butter biscuit is great as well. These biscuits really don't need anything on them to taste great, There is no inside seating, but there are a few tables outside, so it is just drive through or walk up to the window. Their prices are as great as the biscuits and service is quick. Flaky and made fresh biscuits plain, with butter, jelly or gravy is how I like my biscuits best. If you prefer a biscuit with sausage, bacon, egg, steak or ham they will make you a biscuit that way too! When you drive up to the place it's like your visiting your mama, as the restaurant is at the entrance of a residential neighborhood and it has a front porch you can walk up on and place your order at the window. You can even sit down for a minute at the outdoor picnic tables and enjoy a warm, hot biscuit! The biscuit makers are fast and kind but that doesn't mean if you go through the drive thru you won't have to sit in line. This is a certified mom and pops establishment. There seemed to have no indoor seating, so the indoor service does not apply. Service was mainly drive thru and walk up window style. For a drive thru, I was pleasantly surprised how fast we completed the line. We ordered pretty standard biscuits, which biscuit sandwiches, and gravy. The biscuit was pretty large as in cat head size. The bread had good flavor with crispy edges. It was not too greasy, salty, or buttery similar to Hardees. The prices were very reasonable. Next time we will try platter dishes to check other items for sale. I will highly recommend this place for homemade breakfast or brunch. read more

I found this place after my "other" biscuit place closed. I was looking for a place with true southern biscuits. I went thru the drive thru ( don't be alarmed how small it is, the service was fast!!), and ordered a bacon/egg/cheese for my son, and bacon/cheese for me. I was really excited when I got home as they looked delicious! nice and golden brown, and not a "cookie cutter" size. However I only gave this a 4 as the biscuit was doughy / not quite cooked inside. I am not sure if they took them out a bit early as it was busy, but another 3 - 5 minutes would have done wonders. I will say the flavor was great, and the bacon nice and crisp. Just wish the biscuit was not doughy in the middle. I will go back and try again, and hope for a better biscuit! read more

Have been wanting to try this place for years! Yes, its a drive thru, basically a little house in a neighborhood. You can order to go or order at the window and sit on the porch (limited seating). We were lucky to get a table and enjoyed sitting and chatting with some customers who have been eating here for years! The young man taking the orders was very nice and helpful! I had scrambled eggs, bacon and hashbrowns. Everything was very good, although i felt the bacon was overcooked. Maybe next time i can request not as crispy. The biscuits are very large and fluffy! Went on a Sat. morning, early and after trying just about every kind of biscuit in GA I have to rate this the worst! The texture is that of a dinner roll with a very very raw flour taste. I tried 3 different biscuits to enjoy but the only good result was that the bacon was very generous. Just a note I was overcharge $4.00 for the 3 biscuits and a soda. If the wall menu prices are not correct, fix it! Parking makes a bad biscuit/roll not worth even trying even for a second try! read more

Daisy's is a gem! Hubby found this place for us to stop on the way to Ellijay for some fall fun. It was packed on a Saturday morning. We called ahead about 15 minutes and the food was hot, ready, and waiting for us. I loooove a breakfast burrito and this one was A+. I also shared a fluffy glorious biscuit with hubby. It was fresh, hot and delish! The only thing that kept this from being a 5 for me was also the hashbrowns. I don't know why they tasted like coconut oil. I saw where the owner said that they don't have any in the whole restaurant, but I actually didn't say anything and waited for hubby to try just to make sure I wasn't imagining things. A great spot to satiate that country-need for biscuits. By no means and I a Southerner, so take what I type as either blasphemy or gospel. Either way, it doesn't matter because it's my opinion, right? Right. I've noticed that people from the South tend to take their biscuits very seriously, and rightfully so (I think). It is very similar to their foosball teams around here, which if you have something negative to say... it's best you just keep it to yourself. Daisy's doesn't really give me a reason to say anything negative, so I'll live to write another day! We were wanting to try another local biscuit place nearby, and their line was twelve trucks deep. That being said, I remembered that there was another drive-thru place that I kept hearing about nearby, so the navigator entered the coordinates and we zoomed on over. Only three cars in line, something must be amiss? Nope, we just happened to show up at just the right time. The line backed up to the main road, which was a sign of what was about to hit my fat belly. Reading the menu posted on the wall, it seems like they have something breakfast-ey for just about every human that walks or rolls this Earth of ours. This makes for a couple minutes of mental gymnastics as you try and figure out what you are going to order. I assume that regulars to this place have "their things" like Norm from Cheers did. I was not so fortunate. Decisions, decisions. Everything we ordered was quick and tasted great! The ladyfriend commented that the biscuit was good "for a Southern biscuit", which I assume is a good thing...? I just think the breakfast is good, filling, and deserves another try to make sure I get one of everything on the menu. Places like this are what make this area interesting. If you can, call ahead with your order and pick up at the front window to save some time because the car line wraps around the small building and out into the side street. I'm not one to use the phrases "best ever" or "worst ever", but I got a country ham biscuit and I really think it might have been the best one I've ever had. The ham was cooked perfectly and I can't remember ever having a biscuit that good. We also got the breakfast burrito which was excellent. We got the ham biscuits to take home and eat the next day, but I wanted to take a bite just to try it. I literally couldn't put it back down and ate the whole thing in addition to the burrito. We lucked out and were the fifth car in line when we arrived around 10:30, but a line did accumulate quickly behind us. The food was very good. A bit salty for me, but I don't usually eat much salt. Their soggy hash browns were delicious. I also had the biscuit bacon, egg, and cheese sandwich. It was also very good. We took it home to eat since there are only three picnic tables to eat on and the only one undercover was taken.
