i live less than a mile around from this mcdonalds and work nights, so i often need a quick snack and their open 24/7, i don't think there's one time in the 50 times i've been there in a year they've gotten my order right, employees don't know what sauce is, even when they ask if you want it with fries or nuggets, and if you want a straw for your drink? forget it you can pour it into a cup at home or take the lid off and spill it on yourself while driving. absolutely astonished that both teenagers and full grown adults can't grasp the concept of fast food work, and much less customer service. just close this place down at this point and do dawsonville a favor. read more

They are rude , I had informed them couple different times of my order being wrong they would fix it no issues today they messed my order up again and I just wanted a refund because it's just happened to many times and they wouldn't give me a refund they just lost a customer I do NOT recommend this McDonalds read more

The cool must be colorblind The last 3 times I've asked for mustard I get ketchup instead When I went back to get the burger fixed they give me a new one with ketchup again. Are the bottles not labeled or something?! read more

McDonald's - Cheeseburger - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Dawsonville, Georgia

It's average and generic looking outside. Inside the table and chairs make me think prison or school cafeteria. They do push do have you use self service and if you eat in they are suppose to deliver it to your table but 90% of the time they will just call your order number and you have to pick it up so be sure to get the receipt so you know your number since the table number might do you no good. Be sure to use the app do get discounts and bring your total down. read more

The employees must be colorblind. I asked for buffalo sauce and they gave me honey mustard. Unfortunately, I ordered DoorDash so I couldn't get it fixed (I couldn't leave the house). They're either dumb or color blind. Or maybe both. read more

I'm not really sure why I'm seeing negative comments about this location, maybe they are old. I'm not sure. But this is the best McDonald's I have been to. I even travel from Dahlonega to eat at this location when I want a burger because my location is absolutely terrible. I always have friendly service here (unlike my hometown location) my food is always hot and fresh no matter what time of day it is or how much I order or even how me busy they are. I've never even waited longer than 5 minutes for my food and it still comes out fresh. I tell everyone to go to this location because they are simply the best in my opinion. read more

TL;Dr easily accessible from main road. Fast service. Food made well. E X P E R I E N C E We went on a drive and decided to stop by this location to get a bite. This location is very easily accessible via the 400. Easy to pull into. Parking lot has ample space. We came on a SAT at noon and there were 15-20 cars thru drive thru/leaving. Very busy location. S E R V I C E We ordered online via the app. McDonald's never starts making your order until you arrive, to maximize "freshness". So when we arrived, we marked on the app that we were here. We waited 15 mins for them to bring out the food. F O O D Quarter pounder cheese deluxe Medium fries Medium coke 20 PC chicken nugget Reg mcflurry oreo Food made well. Cheese melted. Fried super salty and oily. Chicken nuggets are made well, none burnt. Oreo not mixed into vanilla ice cream but it's okay. P R I C E always good, especially when using a coupon read more

Used the self order service, food was fine but had to ask for a missing drink when it was delivered to my table and the order marker wasn't taken (placed back myself). Zero ketchup at the drink station, not even a empty place for it. Went to the front cashier who was sitting in a chair and asked her where the condiments were. She pointed to behind the front counter and said I could reach behind the counter to get some. After retrieving it myself I commented that she must get that request a lot, in which she replied "I don't know why there's none at the drink station", and continued to sit and do nothing while other customers self ordered. At no point was the problem corrected and somehow no other customers required condiments. For the $12 I spent on the meal there's way better food and experience in this area. read more

Really long line with only one cashier. The poor old man with the cane in front of us came in for something that they didn't have and got turned away. We ordered ice cream but they said the machine was broken. No apology. We got out to the car and could hear the drive thru guy tell someone ordering that they were out of something. read more

I left the gym at 10:47 in a hurry to make it to McDonald's before it closed at 11:00. I was looking forward to a high calorie meal after my workout as I don't eat enough during the day. I pull into McDonald's at 10:55, excited that I made it before 11:00 and ready to order food. That's when I am greeted with "sorry, we are closed". I am filled with rage by this statement and respond, "But it isn't 11:00 yet". He then responds with a bs message about how they are short handed and close 10 minutes early so they can clean up. Regardless of if they are short handed or not, they close at 11:00 unless posted elsewhere, and this is unacceptable. The employees could have served me, they just clean up 10 minutes early so they can leave 10 minutes early, and that is not their job. Clearly lazy work environment and I would not recommend. read more

It's a decent McDonalds. Clean, orders usually right. Only complaint I have is constantly argueing about getting a McGriddle from midnight to 4am. The sign says Serving breakfast after midnight. They only want to serve biscuits till 4am. Despite what the sign says! read more

Mcdonalds are pretty consistent on their food. So saying that, I like this one because it has always been clean when I have been there. Staff is friendly, and in the last 15 years I have not gotten a wrong order. Wether it's luck or my timing has been right. This McDonalds seems to be one of the better ones. read more

McDonald's - lettuce tomato end and pickle end - Coffee & Tea Near Me - Dawsonville, Georgia

Lousy location! Not easy to get in or out. Whoever constructed this McD's should get the worst ever prize for poor planning. Worst layout location ever. The food? Average but not worth the hassle if it were excellent. read more

this mcdonald's could win an award for worlds worst service and rudest employees. Most of them hardly even acknowledge you and cut you off mid sentence. Also I tried going through the drive through at 10:50 and the teenage boy kept only saying "closed" nothing else. They're not supposed to close until 11 so i mentioned that and he continued to just respond with the word "closed". I've never left a review on anything but everytime i've been to this location they are just plain rude. read more

My family and I ordered 6 meals, one for each of us. The girl at the drive-thru window spoke at a very low volume regardless of how many times I informed her that I couldn't hear her due to her quiet tone. Then, when another girl employee came to give us our food, she gave us 4 drinks when we ordered 6. She nearly refused to give us a coffee for one of the meals even though that was what we had ordered. On top of that, she struggled bringing all of the items we ordered out to our car because she didn't give us the drinks at the window, which probably would have been much easier and more efficient. This was overall just a very frustrating experience and Mcondald's drive-thrus should not be this complicated. The manager of this Mcdonald's should really reevaluate their managing skills. read more

The girl that was serving food at the door was very rude she couldn't even wait for me to get to the window before she was handing me my drink she was very rude. she didn't even say have a good day she just gave us a look. they need to learn respect bc clearly they ain't got it. read more

Worst experience I have ever had here. The employees were not respectful at all besides the girl in the first window. Now at the second window I asked for some sauce and the lady didn't say a word to me just seemed annoyed and then said have a great day in the most sarcastic way she possibly could. I'm sorry you chose to work there but dont let your bad day effect how you treat your customers read more

Worst McDonalds I've been to. ALWAYS leaving out simple items like straws, sauces, or napkins. Never friendly and always backed up and slow.

The complete disregard for customer service is ridiculous. The 2 girls running the second window are to busy having their own conversations to focus on their jobs. They forgot my fries and a 20min trip turned into a 40min they didn't apologize they actually didn't say anything at all. read more

I went to eat lunch today and ordered two cheese burgers. The burgers was not up to serving temperature ( lukewarm ) and the buns were not fresh. Wouldn't recommend this place to my family or friends!!! read more

The people here are nice but every time we go through the drive thru, it takes forever. As far as McDonalds go, this one is below average.

Very upset on Sept. 9th My husband and I arrive at 4:45 am at McDonald's in Dawsonville,Ga. only to be told that the manager got mad and walked out & not one employee would serve us anything. This past Saturday Nov. 11th one again arrived at 4:45 and the front doors were locked (NO SIGN ON DOOR) but employees were inside and even waved at me when I knocked on the door.I saw several cars and boats try to go thru dive thru with no help. This is the ONLY 24 hour restaurant opened in Dawsonville. At least it's stated that it is open 24 hours. I have tried to call the manager to complain and evened called 1-800-244-6227 and waited 10 minutes on line no one ever answered. read more

Rude, discourteous, and unfriendly. I will drive miles out of my way to avoid ever having to experience this level of dissatisfaction again.

Very slow service, now you get a small paper cup for $1.00 drink. It seems I always get the last of the batch fries. If you take them back they over salt the batch they give to you. To keep people from setting up thier business in the lobby using the free Internet they enforce you must have food and only stay for an hour rule. Night management I have observed can be rude also. read more
