Waited for over 20 minutes for my app order because they "had no fries" only to get home and find out that they had totally left out my entire chili part of the order from the bag. None of the sauces that I had ordered were also in the bag. I attempted to contact the restaurant via phone and nobody answered. Well let see where should we start. The dinning room is not open. At this point I have been in line for 7 minutes and I am about 7 cars away from ordering and at least 5 cars have left the ordering lane. Would be nice if the had a sign on the door to let you know the dinning room was closed. Next step will be how long it takes after I order. So I got to the ordering area and then there was silence for about 5 minutes and finally they come back in line. Pull around and still had to wait about 3-4 minutes to get two hamburgers and fries. I went today ordered a single, cheese, diet coke and $3 Frosty tag. I was handed my drink and bag. Got home and I had a cold piece of shoe leather on a stale bun, fries (which I didn't order and didn't want) and no Frosty tag. This cost me $12+ - except I don't really know because they didn't give me my receipt. I called the restaurant 3 times after I got home and no answer. This is the second, and last time, I will go to this Wendy's. Last time, I thought it was a fluke, just a bad day for them. Today, I realize it is them. I did file a complaint with Wendy's customer care. There is no excuse for a restaurant like this to still be in business. read more

As a former fast food worker I understand the desire to start preparing to close early but this Wendy's fakes being open after 9pm. Management turns off the outside lights and pretty much everything on the menu will not be available or they will only accept a payment form you don't have. Just update the closing time to be 9pm instead of pretending to be open the last 40 minutes of the day for the last two years. read more

When we got there, we saw the stickers in the window for the DC comics kids meals. Ordered 3 at the self serve kiosk and also ordered a classic chicken sandwich with fries and a Baconator meal. He then calls me to the counter and says they have no toys, so offered frostys, which was fine except I would have ordered the cheaper bigger nugget meal for our kids. Waited probably 15 minutes for our food. Then my sandwich had no toppings other than a tomato, our fries were only half full and they gave us a small cup after we specified that we ordered a large meal. If I had seen the reviews, we wouldn't have gone at all. Very disappointing for "fast" food and it still cost $40. read more

This is the worst fast food restaurant I've been to. I ordered a maple bacon breakfast meal only to get it and it was completely dry no honey two little tiny pieces of bacon on it and it didn't look anything like the picture. I drove back around through the drive-through that has the guy that isn't there something missing from my sandwich because it doesn't like the picture and I thought it was cheese that was on there and he informed me that's a spread. I said cause there's no spread on my sandwiches you gave me so then he asked if I would like to get another sandwich. I said yes. He leaves the window and comes back and then asked me if I get that sandwich from you. Absolutely disgusting and every since Covid when they ask for the sandwich back, especially if you bitten off the sandwich. I gave it to him and said this is absolutely ridiculous. I arrived at this new Wendy's location at 1:40 PM on a Monday. For the time of day, it was more crowded than I would have expected. Upon entering this is unlike any Wendy's I have been to. The dining area is a large room with high ceilings, exposed ventilation. The seating area has a few traditional style tables and two large counters with mounted stools for a community seating setting. Also in one corner, there are lounge type chairs and a couch with no table. Also, as you walk inside the door, there is two self-order Kiosk. They are touch screen and easy to navigate and use. KIOSK - The Kiosk make ordering very easy, fast and efficient. I was the only one to use the Kiosk while other patrons walked to the counter and were still waiting on the lone cashier as I was already picking up my order. The Kiosk is only usable with payment of credit or debit cards. I wish more places offered this type of ordering system. SEATING - The new seating concept seemed to make the dining area as well as the order and pickup lines tight and crowded. They also seemed to be unused by the majority of patrons. Many people stood with their trays instead of taking one of the open seats at the community style tables. The majority of diners were in their fifties or older so sitting with people they do not know is not something they appear to be comfortable with. STAFF - The restaurant was well staffed with lots of people behind the counter. My order was ready and correct in roughly five minutes from the time I placed my order. They called the last two digits of the number the kiosk gave me on-screen. I was not able to get a receipt as nobody knew how to do that and the Kiosk says it will be provided with your order. FOOD - My food order was served hot and fresh. It was par for the fare at most Wendy's. The drink station was very crowded due to the seating arrangement. I was not able to get a lid for my drink as the small lids were out of stock in the drink station and I could not get anyone's attention at the food pickup counter. CLEANLINESS - At the time of my visit the restaurant was crowded and busy. The tables were all dirty and had food items (pieces of fries, straw wrappers, etc) and the trash cans were all full beyond capacity. It did not appear that anyone was working in the dining room during my visit time. This is a vast improvement over the old Wendy's located in Dawsonville but it is still a Meh Fast Food experience. The new self-ordering Kiosk definitely makes it easier, faster and more accurate in getting your order placed. read more

Order from this Wendy's several times!!! Never when inside however always waited on long lines!!! Today I had to be back at work so decided to go inside. The cashier was DIRTY and the young man handing the FRIES was also DIRTY. Clothing and entire appearance. The process inside was slow and look like everyone was OVERWHELM!!! The cashier and the young man handling the fries was touching there necks and clothing and handling the food with no gloves!!! This is during Covid so only the drive thru is open. I have visited this Wendy's several time which were during later hours in the evening. Service was always fast and friendly. My orders have been correct and they always gave me napkins,straws and offered ketchup. The 4 for$4 is unbelievable deal burger w bacon, nuggets, fries that were HOT plus a drink! Went 9/1/21 to get something to eat and the lady at the drive thru offered to sell us a coupon book for some free frostys , so we said yes. We decided to stop back the next day and noticed it said Jr frosty but no big deal. When we got to the order window we were told it doesn't start until Halloween. We went ahead and paid for some frosty's. The vanilla was fine but the chocolate one wasn't frozen at all, just chocolate milk. After getting home we couldn't find anywhere that stated the offer didn't start until 10/31. Called back and were told they didn't understand why it wasn't on there but the didn't start until Halloween. As far as the runny frosty she told us it had been acting up all day. Never bothered to tell that before ordering and with the dining room closed, you can't do anything without getting back in line. All very frustrating. read more

Pull up to the window and they're out of kids meal meats... so I ask if we really have to pay twice the price for a 7 year old a cheeseburger because they ran out. I mean put a normal patty on a kids bun I don't care lol the response was yes I have to pay for "premium" meat because they're out of the smaller patty's. Had a laugh with the Burger King staff when I asked them what they'd do in that situation and of course they said they'd do right by the customer. Went to this store several monnths ago and was given wilted lettuce in my Salad. Took it back and got another with better but still not fresh. Didn't go back until today. Ordered a large chili and tried to pay with my Wendy's app. They asked me about 5 times to read the code off the app to them and finally asked if I had a card. I gave up and left for another restaurant. It seems to be that Wendy's does a very poor job of training the employees how to record the app. Will not return to this Wendy's!!!! read more

If I could post zero stars, I would. Employee Monica can ruin your day. Three times now I have been VERY rudely served in their drive thru by this employee named Monica. Same girl. Same attitude. Same rudeness every time!! This time at the busy lunch time, she handed me my food and I asked for ketchup & salt. "How many" she asked. I said "2-3". Rudely she raised her voice "How many ketchup? How many salt?" I replied that I told her 2-3. She then told me not to raise my voice at her and slammed the pick up window shut. With a trail of cars behind me, she kept the window closed, made me wait and then almost threw the ketchup and salt at me. I complained the last time with no response. This girl should not be working with people, especially customers. There isn't another Wendy's around but I won't return to this one. read more

I went to Wendy's on Hwy. 400 in Dawsonville yesterday to grab some food and although all of the restaurants around them were lined up with cars, I noticed they only had one car on the lot and it was at the drive thru window, so as I came in the drive I pulled right up to the speaker to place my order and was immediately greeted by a womans voice saying " You came in the wrong way, I cannot take your order. You need to circle the building and come back to the speaker". I said are you kidding? And she said no, I can not take your order if you do not come to the speaker the right way. I pulled up to the window and asked again why she wouldn't take my order. That makes no sense. There is no one else in line or on the property. Why should I have to circle the building first? The lady replied that I approached the speaker from the wrong direction so that was reckless driving and she couldn't serve me. I explained I had pulled in slowly and safely and simply made a u turn to the speaker. There are no signs on the property and no lines on the pavement directing me to drive around the building so what rule or "law" did I break? She repeated she could not serve me because I broke the law. I asked if she was a law enforcement officer and she said she was the store manager. I told her well she apparently wanted to be a cop because as a Wendy's manager her job was to serve the customers and provide good customer service and she was doing neither. I was not driving recklessly but in my opinion she was bordering impersonating an officer. I told her I would be making a complaint with her company and she asked me to leave and not come back. I complied with her request and now I understand why they were the only restaurant around with no customers. I suppose she has run them all off. I have to wonder if this was the best candidate Wendy's could find to manage their business. I was in the restaurant business for many years and even managed several Wendy's units and later became a recruiter and trainer for them. Back then we would have never tolerated this type of behavior from any manager or store employee. Our goal was to brighten each customers day and send them away smiling even if they came in grumpy. Today they seem to send the ones who come in smiling away grumpy. What is the world coming to? read more

This is THE worst experience my husband and I have ever had at a Wendy's. We visited at 4pm on Sun August 4. The restaurant floor was filthy and all the tables needed wiped off. Bathrooms were out if soap and certain sodas were out. Even though they have the kiosk to order and pay it still took forever to get our small order of two 4 pc nuggets, 2 drinks and 2 junior frosties. We had to clean our own table to be able to dine in. We will not choose to eat at this Wendy's again. And by the way..I guess because there is a kiosk encouraging no customer interaction no one feels they have to greet you or even say hello. These employees should take a customer service lesson from Chick-fil-A down the street. Night and day difference. read more
