Quite possibly the worst service I have ever received in a restaurant. Appetizers took 50 minutes. Entree took 1 hour and 45 minutes to arrive. My new diet consists primarily of Cucina 355's Drunken Grandma pizza. We ordered this pizza on Uber Eats on Sunday and immediately realized we now need to order this every week and probably need to be going in each week too. The vodka sauce is *chef's kiss delicious and it pairs perfectly with the fresh mozzarella they use. I would put this sauce on anything. The mini rice balls (which were quite large) on top of that sauce were balls of cheesy/vodkay heaven. This isn't thin crust NJ pizza, this is a pillowy dough that crisps up so perfectly and holds this sauce and cheese on the pedestal it should be on. Been going there on-and-off for the last few years . Nice place, good food, great pizza. Went there this past Wednesday for my son's b-day. Food was consistently good and had great service. I ordered the chicken with cherry peppers /vodka sauce. It was good but a little skimpy on both the peppers and vodka sauce. I'm not complaining because I ate the entire dish, however, was tempted to ask for more sauce on the side. Anyway ... again, we like it and will go back. Two things to be aware of (1) it's a pretty noisy place, need to shout a bit to be heard and (2) the cleaner they used when wiping down the tables ... it had such an incredibly strong smell actually began to give me a headache by the end of the meal. What a great spot. I've never been until I was invited to a 30th birthday party. You are able to park in the bank parking lot across the street. The restaurant is small but it accommodated a nice group of 20 with two tables right when you walk in near their counter where you would order pizza. It's a BYOB, which is fantastic. They brought out tons of yummy Italian dishes family style, Cesar salad, Calamari, bread basket and rice ball. For dinner, they had this chicken dish and eggplant parm. First things first, I am OBSESSED with Cucina 355's grandmas pie. It is seriously the perfect pizza. The dough isn't soggy and it has great flavor. The pie isn't overwhelmed by cheese. The taste is just perfect. You will never be disappointed coming here for pizza and salad. Apart from the pizza, their food is also very good. They bake the bread they put on the tables. Ordered a plain pie on a Wednesday night, took 45 MINS for pick up, and when I got there the high schooler up front gave me the wrong pizza, which I had noticed when I got in the car after I paid. An experienced waiter would have suggested only one slice and cut it into child size slices. We love this restaurant and frequently go there; however, when I tried to order the specials, which can only be done online, I could not find them on the site. My husband also tried. I called the restaurant and the gentleman on the phone was very unhelpful. He said to "refresh" which we both had done and then said he could not help me because he could not see the site. As a regular lunch customer, I write this with so much disappointment and yes, it's been brought it to the workers attention many times by my table and others when I've been dining. They are regularly cleaning the floors around noon. Chairs up and mopping around people dining. It stinks and is very unpleasant to smell bleach while eating. I'm not sure why this choice is made during the lunchtime rush but I've visited various days to try and avoid it but it appears to be a daily routine. Additionally, the prices have been extreme. I think paying over $24 for a salad that has chicken on it is ridiculous. And now adding unpleasant odor to it, not worth it at all! So disappointing. read more

We had my son's baptism at Cucina 355 in Nutley this Saturday. I can't say enough great things. Adriana was absolutely incredible during the entire booking process. She responded to my emails within minutes and helped plan everything. Our servers during the party ( Juan and Andres) were absolutely amazing. They were attentive, so pleasant, and made sure every guest was attended too. They checked in with me throughout the day and I couldn't have been more pleased with their service. Had reservations to celebrate our daughter's birthday today (October). The inside of the restaurant was coldet than it was outside. We could feel the air conditioning where we were seated and asked them to please shut it off, which they claimed they did. We had to eat with our jackets on. My friends and I went out to dinner, we are a group of teenagers. I had accidentally dropped my glass and it had broken. The manager had added 5 dollars to the bill for the broken glass. I arrived on time and after almost 30 minutes waiting, I tried to find out what was going on with my order and one of the staff members (Adrianne) who identified herself as the manager yelled at me because it was a "busy weekend" and they had a lot of orders. As a customer I have the right to (respectfully) complain if you're making me wait. But instead the opposite happened when this "manager" decided to behave in the most rude way possible.
