    This gate was open when we arrived. It requires a code to enter. The motor that opens and closes the gate is broken.

    CubeSmart: 501 Callowhill, Philadelphia PA: DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY. We rented a 10x10 unit in March '22 in a temporature-controlled gated area. We usually come once or twice a month to bring new items or retrieve other items. Yesterday when we arrived, the motorized loading gate was broken and was wide open, though I did not see any car backed in and using it (wonder how long that had been broken and open). Also, we noticed that one of the doors that should close automatically behind a guest doesn't quite catch and is often left ajar if you don't manually close it (wonder how long that had been not operating properly). So, On Sunday 2/25 when we got into our area, we noticed a pair of our slippers sitting outside of the garage gate to our unit. The lock appeared to still be on the garage door; howevever, when we touched it the entire locking apparatus fell to the floor. We lifted the gate and discovered that we had been robbed! Someone had entered the secure location, climbed on top of the storage units, looked down through the chicken wire (I guess they liked what they saw in ours), cut through the wire on the top, looked through all of our things and ransacked our possessions, unscrewed the locking apparatus from inside the unit, exited through the garage door, jerry-rigged the lock to LOOK like it was intact and walked out with large, expensive and some irreplaceable items. To add insult the injury, there was a single staff person on site (there is usually just one person and the only security is doors/gates that require a code). We immediately notified the staff person who was only able to take pictures and give us a brochure to call for insurance. There was no offer for a free temporary space to house our items until a secure location could be found....not even an offer for free boxes to box the items that had been removed from luggage (that was stolen) and strewn about. We filed a police report, and we will definitely file a claim...which won't cover all that we have lost like personal papers, priceless jewelry, etc. We will also notify the BBB and every outlet that we can find to help others from making the same mistake that we did by using this facility. DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY.

Another customer entered the building and Tori greeted him. I wasn't sure if she saw me behind the couple so I stepped around them and said I'm next and she gestured she saw my. When she helped email label to return an Amazon product and pointed to a printer and informed me my label would print there. While I was waiting she helped the man she greeted before assisting me. She scanned his phone and gave her a product. Once she was done my label had printer and she helped me. Tori was polite and courteous. She even explained she greet her customers when they enter and ask what service they needed and that she was going to assist me after her initial inquiry. She didn't have to explain her procedures to assist customers and if made me feel seen and heard. That I sincerely appreciated and with efficacy she took care of the customers all while be patient. This was my first visit to this location and whenever I have needs that can be assisted via UPS I'll definitely return. The store was clean and a bit smaller so prepare for social distancing options. Just a side note. Greetings are kind and professional. Just like Tori greets customers so should the other staff. Calling someone name out without a hello or I'll be right with you seems a bit obtuse. Customer service agents must understand they are agents of service to customer. Thanks Tori hopefully they'll emulate your customer service skill set.

With my first move in 2020, there was a bit of a scheduling issue, causing the movers to arrive later than originally scheduled and with a van rather than a truck (I had been told that it would be a truck in order to fit all of my belongings into one trip). Therefore, it ended up taking two trips. However, the owner made things right by only charging me the original rate for one trip. Mistakes happen and I'm fine with it, as long as the company owns up to it and makes it right. And there were no similar issues with my second move in 2026. The guys had furniture wrap and blankets to protect my belongings. During both moves, I did not find anything that was damaged at all. What more can you ask for!? I highly recommend Man With a Van! In fact, I'm likely going to use them again soon to help with some items that I will need to move into storage.

Man With A Van gave my friend two quotes: a cheaper quote for Two Guys with a Van and a more expensive quote for Three Guys with a Truck. My friend sent the more expensive rate for Three Guys with a Truck. But then this dispatcher tried the blame game of "You didn't specify Truck" when to our surprise only Two Guys and a Van showed up. Lemme ask you a question. If I offer you a hotdog for $3 and a burger for $4, and you hand me 4 dollars, wouldn't anyone with a working brainstem assume that meant YOU WANTED THE BURGER? But my friend was sweet and offered: "Maybe y'all can come back tomorrow with three guys and a truck, because it's really a three person job", to which the movers declined. After a quick call, the dispatcher said there'd be no additional charge for extra trips due to the smaller vehicle. What's more is that one of the two Movers had a bad back and couldn't take the stairs like the other dude. So at some points the job is only getting done by one dude (you could argue one-and-a-half dudes). If THREE guys should be able to make the move of loading and unloading in TWO hours, then HALF that much manpower means... you guessed it: it's gonna take at least twice as long! Not to mention they spent extra time stacking things like Jenga inside the van to make it all fit in one trip. Because the job (that my friend agreed to pay $500 for three guys and a truck) took so much longer with one and a half guys and a van, Paul upcharges an extra $300!! Again, my friend is nice, and they're trying to hash this out cause they didn't get what they paid for, regardless of it it took more time. (And again, of course less manpower means more time). But instead of having a conversation with my friend, Paul starts SCREAMING at them, cursing at them, saying "You're Full Of Sh*t!" and threatening legal action immediately! My friend is begging through tears that they want to make this right; begging him to STOP yelling and panicking them. The mover's felt so bad and embarrassed overhearing Paul act like a jack*ss on the phone that one even offered to pay the remainder, but my friend, still shook up and in tears, said that they wanted to make this right and moved what little money they have around to pay as much as they could. We're ALL struggling out here, and the movers def deserve to get paid. I'm sure the dude with the hurt back needs more money and easier hours, but the company is working him to the bone. But to have this dude Paul berate and coerce my friend, spitting venom over the phone? Shouting until my friend is begging in tears for him to stop? I'm never gonna forget that. And this company needs to make things right. The job took long because of Dispatch's mistakes. They sent 1.5 guys to do a 3 man job, without the agreed upon equipment no less. If you want a stress-free experience: steer clear. If you want some jerk from New York taking out his daddy issues on you: you've come to the right place.

Within 4 hours (with an hour commute in between), our movers (shoutout to Ika, Beqa, and Ans Soso!!) moved all of our belongings from one place to another quickly, efficiently, and safely! I had showed them all the pictures of my stuff that needs to be moved and I also told them the number of stair steps I have, everything was communicated to them clear and in details. They gave me a quote but the quote means nothing to them. In the end I had to pay for added time, added materials for wrapping and added fee for bulk item. The amount I need to pay is not even near the estimation, it is way way way more than the estimation. What's the point for estimation anyway. Just to lure the customer to their payment trap? I had to pay $5300 in the end, 65% more than the estimation. So if you are considering this mover, I warn you that you need to add 65% more on their estimation before signing the contract. Good Luck to whoever wants to hire this moving company!!! I will never recommend this moving company to anyone!

Vector Movers provided a great experience from beginning to end…read more I got a few quotes and theirs was the best & I did a bunch of research on Reddit and they were also highly recommended there. The communication prior to the move from Joe was proactive and clear so I knew exactly what to expect. Jose and his team arrived on time and I loved the text message telling me when they were en route. They packed up my apartment so quickly and they were also careful, making sure to pack everything well. Even with stairs, they unpacked at my new location very fast and even made sure we were happy with where everything was placed. Jose was easy to talk to and very professional about making sure we had a good experience. The team also worked quickly and finished the job in under the 6 hours quoted. So appreciative of Jose and his team and the whole experience with Vector. Hopefully our next move is many years away but we would definitely go with Vector again!

Edit: There was in-fact a link in the email with my reference number, but it was so hidden that I had to look at the email 5 times. I would also look into the website design so that it does not confuse future customers by asking for nonexistant log-ins.
