Units broken in to twice under 12 months! A week later after this last time 3/24 I received my bill without a care to my personal property and the broken single entrance for walk throughs was in front was broken and wasn't even chained up to prevent access! Then a week later I walked up and the same front gate was fixed but was NOT locked at 8:30 AM. An hour later I drove in and told the person working what had found that AM and he turned around and said that the gate needed to stay unlocked per management just "so people could get out if needed"! Then just yesterday (in the sale month) I received a notice that my rent was going to raised for the second time in a year! Pictures to follow! Horrible experience with this storage facility. My storage unit was broken into last year. Management had the gall to raise my rent instead of offering any concessions for the invasion. When I moved out of my unit, the manager was so insensitive to ask how was my stay. When I gave him the feedback that I was moving out because my rent was raised after my unit was broken into, the manager responded that the 2 actions are not correlated. I sharply retorted that, in my opinion, they are correlated and inconsiderate. Avoid this facility at all cost. It is a burglary trap. read more

There have been 3 break-ins in this facility, and very little, if anything has been done other than raising rates. No responsibility has been taken and no obvious prevention has been undertaken. There will be a class action lawsuit against the negligence of this store. after the first theft, they are on notice, and had a duty to protect the clients property stored within. Locks and doors were broken and no regard as to accommodating or attempting to help any of their clients. Notice in the past has been late and yet other than the significant increase in rental fees, nothing else has been done with staff changing repeatedly, and apparently clueless into protecting contents, avoid at all cost. The thieves keep entering the same way yet. No lessons learned in preventing further damage. read more

We stored antique furniture in a CLIMATE CONTROLLED unit for more than 1.5 years at this Cubesmart Location. Furniture is covered with mold and mildew. Damage NOT covered by insurance sold by Cubesmart or by Cubesmart. Cubesmart offered to pay $500 with condition that NO public reviews be posted. Estimate for required mildew removal and refinishing totaled at least five thousand dollars. I would highly suggest looking for a different place to store your furniture. Over the past few weeks, Houston has experienced massive flooding, and I had a damaged apartment. I needed a storage space, and went looking for one. I first went to the most prolific and popular storage sites, Public Storage. To my surprise, they discontinued their promotion for new storage users during the flooding, and it was gonna cost me an outrageous amount to store my few salvageable belongings.. Pissed me off. As I was driving around looking for a storage facility, I happened upon CubeSmart, and stopped in for a price quote. Met Ms Mary at the front desk, and she made my day!!! Price was perfect and units available. She was in the process of system upgrades with the computers, and she apologized that the process was slow and taking time. That didn't deter me at all. She made me feel like a valued customer, and I did not mind waiting the time it took for the system to upgrade. Once it was done, a few hours later, she got me signed up and into a unit. No hassle, quick, and clear on the contract. She is very professional and efficient, as well as being a very likeable and approachable personality. Made my lousy day bright again, and kept my storage plans well within my budget, unlike other storage facilities... Give this wonderful lady a raise. I will and hve recommended CubeSmart to others, due to how I was treated by Mary!!! read more

Ms Mary she's simply the best. I can't believe how professional, quick and witty she is. She remember everyone name and last name. She's clean, she makes the people working with her work, some of them are young,strong but clueless like young people today. She makes them work. I'm so please with her that I wished I could hire her in my own business.
