Carts are broken or missing. They seem to have rodent problems. People leave the front doors open. Always some type of issue with this location and no one to fix it. The prices are too high for them not to keep this location in pristine conditions. read more

I used public storage in the past and they've always been very helpful and professional.

When attempting to access our storage unit, we were not able to gain access due to the system being down. We had a moving truck scheduled to move our things and their system is down. When we got a hold of them (which took hours), the mangers response was, "I don't answer calls on the weekends, you'll have to wait until we get around to it. They had the option to send someone over there to cut a lock and allow access and denied that option. The verbal equivalent of an indifferent shrug. Use ANYONE but Public Storage for your storage needs. read more

This is facility is a few years old but appears to be well maintained. Every time I have been there either to store items or pull something out it is very convenient to access. There are dollies in the lobby so it is not necessary to bring your own. If I have to store more stuff in the future I would not hesitate to go back here. read more

Disappointing. The positive for me is that (other than the bathrooms) the building is clean and in a good location. The negative is trying to find someone mannning the desk even when the "We will return at...." sign has well expired. I've had to wait and return several times. But what really upset me was the unnecessary harshness/rudeness of the district manager I eventually did encounter when I calmly expressed my frustration. The lack of humanity was very hurtful. I have simply wanted to find out how to clear out our unit without penalty following my husband's sudden death and his harsh tone made this time transition in our lives rougher than it needed to be. Also, the rate that we entered into our contract with was increased with a simple letter notifying us that our rate was increased. Very disappointing. read more

The absolute worst. We have been there 3 months and now all of our belonging have mold. I was told by the manager that he told the builder and corporate of the issue with the first floor getting no ventilation and that is stays humid. He's words "it's a hot box down here"...and yet the District Manager says that public storage will do nothing and if I change units I'll have to pay extra....way to to go on the customer service. read more

My appreciation for Public Storage is mixed. I had the same 10X20 unit for at least two years. I began paying a monthly rate of $138.00, including insurance - this July was estimated @ $207.00. The Customer Service signing-Up was without incident... the issue for me was yesterday, I was attempting to have my unit inspected to finalize/closeout my contract. I had just loaded the last of my stuff, and it was time to have Jeff, the property manager inspect my unit. I noticed Oliva was sitting behind the desk. I attempted to enter the office through the front door, and it was locked. I entered my security code and attempted to enter through the side door, it too was locked. Oliva signaled to me, what seem a gesture to call her on the phone. By then Jeff came out of the back room, upset that I did not notice the sign on the glass next to the door. The notice was indicating no service was available until a later time. Jeff was annoyed I did not have the sense to read the sign on the glass, and his annoyance included me not understanding he was on a long distance call. If the paying customers makes the property manager annoyed, even when closing out the contract, this indicates bad training and bad management. This will not go well if I am in need of a Public Storage unit in the future. read more

This is the worst Storage Facility I've ever been to. Honestly, nothing about this place is redeeming...The Customer Service? There is none! Unless you consider Customer Service being rushed around the property, rudely, and being spoken down too like you're some kind of unintelligent peon being given the "privilege" of using the Manager's storage facility. Speaking of which, the Manager needs to get off her high horse! This is not HER facility. She doesn't own it! She acts like it's her personal domain and you're coming to encroach upon it and the only thing that makes it somewhat OK is the fact that you're paying...it's a ludicrous attitude to have when you're in the Service Industry. You don't have to be a slave, but at least be nice! Hell, just pretend! After I'm gone, you can think that I was the biggest piece of human s*** you've ever met! After I leave, if she said to herself in private: "Stupid f***! How dare you come in here to politely store your things and ask a few questions! Making me move my body to benefit someone other than myself...F***ER!"...I would't care. Because she, at that point, is only making herself upset. I would go on thinking that she was a rather quiet individual and maybe had some personal issue and I might even appreciate that she would not take it out on me. Instead, I'm writing a crappy review for her, her assistant (who is either lazy or an A-hole, can't decide) and the way the place is maintained...or the lack thereof. So there is my rant. Sorry I couldn't be of better assistance to thoroughly explain everything here and what to expect, but I can say that you should save your money and take it elsewhere...like the fine folks over at Cube Smart Self-Storage...they're kinda slow, old and it's an outdoor place...but they are POLITE. Public Storage has poor business practices. I have been in this unit less than 6 months. I asked when I acquired the unit, how soon before the rent goes up? The clerk didn't have an answer. I have an answer now. It will go up $23.00. I called the number provided to Customer Service to inquire about the increase. They provided no recourse. The solution was pay or remove your belongings. I can see an increase after a year, but less than 6 months is unacceptable. Especially after I asked before I moved my things there. I will be finding another storage facility soon. read more
