The storage facility manager cut the lock on my unit to allow someone to "deliver" [something?] to it without calling me and asking first. Explicitly in breach of their own contract. After realizing that the contents of my unit didn't seem in line with what was being delivered, they checked the guys paperwork and realized it was the wrong unit. Maybe. They gave me new locks, but seem to completely miss the fact that 1. Per their own contract, they are not permitted to access the unit for reasons like this. 2. It's not acceptable to cut someone's unit open because some random delivery person says they need to put something in it.

I signed a move out notice a few weeks prior to my move out. I was scheduled to be out of my unit by May 31st. I moved out of the facility but because my lock was removed on 6/1, the facility charged me another month's rent. You would think after being a good paying customer over the past years (between myself and co-worker) I'd receive decent customer service but this was not the case. After calling to get an understanding of why I'm being charged for an additional month, Susan said I needed to read the fine print of my close out form. If you're in our community of Katy, I'd advise you to take your business somewhere else where people have great customers service and look to help solve problems....not scam you on the fine print. Based on that information, I was given a competitive quote and decided to hire Squared Cow Movers. Unfortunately, the experience did not live up to expectations. The movers arrived late and explained that someone had called in sick. Only two movers showed up, even though I had been told during the quote process that there would be two to three movers assigned to the job. My biggest concern was the final cost. After the move was completed, I was presented with a bill that was approximately $500 higher than the quoted amount. The lead mover explained that the office staff who provide quotes do not fully understand the scope of a move unless they see it in person. While I understand that estimates can vary, a $500 increase is excessive, especially when there was no warning or discussion of additional costs until after the job was finished. The lead mover contacted his supervisor, Justin, who acknowledged that there were training issues with the front office staff. However, aside from agreeing to remove 1.5 hours from the final bill, the company was unwilling to take further responsibility for the discrepancy. I explained that customers should not be expected to absorb significant additional costs due to the company's internal training issues. To make matters worse, several of my items were left with tape residue and marks from the moving materials used, and one of my barstools sustained a puncture tear in the seat. I have submitted a damage claim and hope the company will make things right. I am sharing this review as a warning to potential customers. If you are working within a strict budget, be aware that your final bill may differ significantly from the quote provided. I have moved several times over the years, and unfortunately, this was by far the worst moving experience I have had.

The facility was clean and orderly. The storage unit itself was very neat and clean. The prices are reasonable and I know personally it does not flood ( good thing to know ). There is an electronic registration Kiosk outside for 24hr service and you can actually get your unit and a lock. Just FYI, you will need to come back to do the physical paperwork though.
